Twice a month crew shows. Please. Love the guests, but these are almost always more entertaining. Hearing the two of you bounce opinions off each other has great chemistry and is consistently a good listen.
My tips for people with muscle cars prone to be stolen: install some hidden GPS tracking system, and one or two switches wired to the fuel pump hidden in the car, even better if these switches could be remotely activated.
To the dude who wanted a 10k fun car that works with a family: V36 chassis Infiniti G35. Everyone forgets they exist, but you can find one with a 6spd for
I know you're right about the burble tunes, but the 6cyl F Type is one of the most beautiful exhaust notes I've ever heard aside from the Evora 400. The burble on the F Type is hot.
If you get clarkson on the show ill donate 200$, smoke weed for the first time, and swim across one of the great lakes of your choice. I swear on this.
Im such a fan of the V90 as well. Doesnt pretend to be a sportscar or rock crawler. Looks amazing and comes close to the presence of an S Class. And its a damn wagon.
Funny you guys mention the nuances of tram lining with driving mode. Comfort mode really accentuates how bad the mustang tram lines. And it’s not even when you go big, I got a non pp gt and with my 19x8.5 wheels I still tramline on LA surface streets and the highway.
In Chicago they have been stealing hundreds of SRTs since the winter. A few people, including a retired firefighter, have sadly lost their lives over these vehicles. Chryslers security system is highly flawed.
The comment about Roush Mustangs feeling like "300hp is lost somewhere in the driveline" is by design. The stock Roush tune is documented to be quite conservative (I had said GARBAGE, but that's probably inaccurate as it isn't unsafe or have poor driveability) It's designed with the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty they offer if you use the supplied tune with them. Clutch protection and torque management is not reduced and the result is evident in the 1/4 mile times versus a regular GT with a 93 octane tune. An aftermarket tune from one of the premier Coyote tuners like VMP or Lund (the latter being who Ford Performance tech line actually suggests when you buy a Cobra Jet kit) will remarkably wake the car up and make it feel as a supercharged car making 725hp should actually feel. Now you know! :)
@@TheSmokingTirePodcast It might dyno that number since it's a static measured pull in one gear, but if you make a timed run with shifting it will cut power. C/D test of a 2014 Roush kind of confimed this. Ran no faster than a typical mail order tune GT. A quick forum search will show trap speeds with an aftermarket tune go up like 10-13mph. The current 2650 Roush Blower has heat soak issues. Roush makes an additional cooling package now to help combat this. Their TVS 2300 is a great blower package however.
I've driven a well-sorted 5.0 set up for roll racing that made 650ish whp and I drove the Roush RS3 maybe a few months after. To me, the 5.0 felt much faster in 2-3 gears. In 4th they felt about the same.
fun for 10k comparable to the others listed (though less refined for sure), infiniti G37S coupe or sedan. Auto or stick, comfy enough to daily, rwd or (with the auto) awd, good power and high revving, pretty damn reliable
You have to have a tire on the roush cars I have one and it gets the power down but any performance car RWD with over 550whp absolutely needs a sticky tire I use the Nitto 555R2 but even that still isn't great, the Trans needs to go to Ben Calimer for atleast stage 1 but stage 2 works best!! My car is quiet too no burbles either...
Hey guys! I really enjoy listening to you sh#t on Tesla - on their cars and on them as a company. Can you maybe do that more often? Honestly, I'm ideologically opposed to the whole electric car thing, and am scared of what the new Plaid version of the Model S can do in terms of acceleration (I really hope these types of cars - and not just electric, but gasoline powered too, like the 765LT and such - go the way of Group B rally).
I owned an SS 1le with a similar story with the recaros. Seats were great but when I took it to track days and autocrosses I would literally bring stuff to put behind my back (a ball and a pillow) on the long drives to the track.
The momentum twos have been out for years, and I've been on the fence about buying them for that long. I've loved every Sennheiser product I've purchased so far, but those were just a little too rich for my taste, as I only use my wireless earbuds for listening to mostly talk stuff like podcasts more than music.
The Mach 1 looks/is cool....just seems remarkably over priced. PP2 cars have the same tramline issue...which is odd because you don't see the same complaints about the 1LE SS with it's mag shocks, or even the widebody Mopars.

I always thought Zack was around 10yrs younger than Matt. Looks like I’m switching to vodka sodas and coconut water 🤷🏽♂️
To be fair Matt would look a lot younger if he shaved.
@@Trevenclaw Not by much only 2-3 years. Zack took care of his body, Matt had fun with it.
as a weed smoker myself matt probably knows this too that rocking bongs doesn't help lmao
1 crime at a time. My dad always said "dont do something illegal while doing something illegal."

You need a cut off switch hidden not remotely activated. Thiefs know about GPUS systems.

Fun usually equals a lot of bad food in my experience. I lost 75lbs in six months but going out and partying is the hardest part

Never would've guessed Sennheiser would've sponsor you guys congrats!!!

I have never listened to a smoking tire podcast on any other headphone than Sennheiser, unless ive been in my car.
I'm thankful that I'm no longer sleeping 2 hours a night and drinking Java Monsters on the regular like I was in college
Interesting, Java monster eh? White monster was my all-nighter poison of choice lol.
I hear more noise from BMWs and AMGs in LA than actual Hondas these days

Does that mean the Roush isn't actually making its advertised power, in the interest of the warranty?

1:23:00 that sounds like a Louis Rossman right to repair arguement
Is it possible to get time stamps? Would be very helpful.
Great video
I passed on a 40% off new Seiko SKX. Kinda mad at myself but I really didn't need it.

Feel free to correct me, but the audio levels seem a bit high on this recording.
They were indeed peaking a bit.
Sennheiser recently sold out to a big company shame anyways I’m happy they’re making your buds now great sponsor

Imagine going to jail over a pos dodge charger 😂😂
What if the car just burbles naturally
Multiple pairs of airpods< cheap samsung earbuds with bang and olufsen over ears for at home. Just my opinion

How does Matt never cough
Volvo V90 Cross Country is the most expensive luxury car you can buy and still retain your Portland, OR street cred for not being a rich asshole.
