Thanks for your reaction to Geoff's solo work. Geoff was finally persuaded several weeks ago to release his first solo CD (while still protesting that CDs are obsolete; thanks to fans who continued to requested one and to his wife, Kathy). This track is on his "Dusty Old Songs" CD. If you read the video description credits list, this one was every bit done by just Geoff and Kathy. His five octave vocal range (with three octaves in chest voice) never fails to impress since he sounds so good in all of the registries in which he chooses to sing. In addition to layering his vocals, he does all of the instrumentation, video editing, everything on his solo channel. So, so talented. Note, to hear Geoff sing at the extreme bottom of his bass range, you'll have to go to VoicePlay releases when Layne is arranging ("Valhalla Calling" or "Halo" or "Enemy"). Geoff doesn't tend to do such things to himself, at least, not yet.

Great old Jimmy Dean song. His newest cover is a Marty Robins song Big Iron. But still my favorite is his cover of Tennessee Ernie Fords Sixteen Tons.
Hard getting my hearing to adjust to it.
Absolutely
Man, this remake is terrible.
