Not for him or the manager but the CEO(s)!!!!!!! All that hard work and dedication to their company. They could've gave him a bonus, vacation, something! All his daughter wanted was plane tickets for him to see his family. That's not even 1% from the CEOs pockets. How hard it is to come up with some sort of award recognizing his perfect attendance and commitment to serve their customers. IMO, that’s no way to live.. Yes, money is important in order to survive but family, friends, and love are much more important and much more rewarding.. we humans are social creatures and we need other people. I'm crying 😭 27 years of never missing a day and all they could give him was some candy, a cup, a movie ticket and some other trinkets; they should be ashamed to even had him that bag! He deserves so much more and is an example of what this world needs. This story has moved me in so many ways and just shows how corporate businesses are. So glad he was able to see his grandchildren!! Such a beautiful story

    We often hear the word "Hero" thrown around very loosely, but this guy is a true definition of that word. I, for myself, missed 8 days of work last year alone. This guy has been doing it for 27 years, and not a day. People like him need to be rewarded, and the biggest reward that could be done for this guy, is to really reward him in private.

    • @parabellum5503
      @parabellum5503 2 роки тому

      @harry jones agreed but why the name calling. In mind he isn't a hero because he stayed at a Burger King in Vegas ....VEGAS for 27 years. People's do what they want but there had to be plenty of opportunities in Vegas over the last 27 years. This brother is 54....27 years is half of his actual life.

      I'm sorry, but I don't support the buzz over this. If he is showing up to work sick, that is gross especially since he is working with food. If he is lucky to never get sick, good for him but not anything to be rewarded for.
