That was the best! Thank you for all your work and multiple camera shots. I am so shy from large crowds and sometimes... Madonna that I could never go to events like this. So powerful. Hallelujah is my favorite song to sing whenever I feel triumphant that I made it through another minute in this world. Really takes a lot to capture all the movement of this performance. Props to you from Oakland, CA!

@@holywater9425 I hear that she used a corrector of voice (something like Autotune) but this doesn't work and if she sang good this corrector made her voice in a wrong key

Madonna's performance is absolutely incredible: she doesn't only have a great voice, but her singing is so full of emotions that she almost made me cry. One of her best performances in years. Waiting for the new album!!!

This glitterati crowd at this Met Gala event was partly inebriated with the reception cocktails. They were a bit raucous at the beginning and was expecting Madonna to do a rousing celebratory dance music number, but she took them to church instead. Slowly this crowd sobered and quieted down as Madonna delivered a beautiful, haunting and spiritual performance-one for the ages. That ending shot in black and white with Madonna leading a procession of religious clergy (a White Catholic priest and a Black Baptist minister/pastor) evoked the ‘60s Civil Rights protest marches led by the Rev. Martin Luther King, who were joined by Catholic priests, nuns, other religious clergy, supporters and activists. In this closing scene, she was followed by her muses, choir dressed up like medieval monks chanting and singing Hallelujah with Madonna, as they slowly walked into a brightly lighted archway. Love her or hate her, her courageous and persistent advocacy and activism in the struggle for social change and equality through her artistry, I think is a powerful reminder that she’s walking on the right side of history. Appreciate this video, thank you for sharing.
