As someone who has never played the series this song makes me want to play its entirety in the correct release order including all prerequisite material just to fully experience this banger
Luckily, there's no prerequisite material or really any material beyond the games barring minor lore details. Just play the games in release order and you're golden!
This is the first title screen "Dearly Beloved" not done by Yoko Shimomura. The arrangement and orchestration was handled by Tomomichi Takeoka, who previously did orchestrations for a few of Yuko Komiyama's arrangements in 0.2 and Re Mind (and a couple of songs in the World of Tres orchestra).
We don't exactly know for sure that Shimomura didn't also have a hand in the arrangement yet, even though Takeoka did say that he did the arrangement. One example is where the KH3 version was arranged by both Shimomura and Yui Morishita. So we still need the official credits for confirmation. Though this is one of three versions of Dearly Beloved where the orchestration wasn't done by Kaoru Wada (who orchestrated Dearly Beloved for KH2, BBS, DDD, and KH3). The orchestration for the X Back Cover Version was done by Sachiko Miyano and the Swing Version by Natsumi Kameoka.
@@LightKeyDarkBlade Good point, it could have been co-arranged like KH3. It's still a bit bizarre to me that Takeoka was chosen to help with "Dearly Beloved" (he's not even in the top 10 most prevalent KH composers), but he did just work with Shimomura on the Mario RPG orchestrations, so maybe there's outside reasons. Takeoka's language on his LinkedIn post about the song ("I also arranged the trailer music for KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link. 20 years ago, when I met Sora and his friends, I never thought that such a wonderful day would come.") makes me suspect his involvement was pretty major, but I guess we have to wait -another three years- for the soundtrack to come out to be completely sure Edit: Also, the KHUX credits version was orchestrated by Natsumi Kameoka too
@@Aid1043 It is kinda strange indeed, considering he didn't have a major role in KH3 music production, at least not as major as the likes of Miyano or Kameoka. It's also not like Morishita who is a very frequent collaborator with Shimomura as a pianist. But somehow, Takeoka has been a consistent collaborator with Shimomura for the past few projects, with both him and Kameoka being the only orchestrators for the Super Mario RPG remake. Looking at Takeoka's past work history with Shimomura, it does seem that he's becoming heavily involved in the KH music production. But if Takeoka is becoming a major arranger/orchestrator in the KH music production, Yuko Komiyama is seemingly missing even though both of them were working together directly in KH3. She hasn't worked with Shimomura ever since KH3. So far, we know that Takeoka has worked on KHML and Kameoka is working on KH4. This is pure speculation but I suspect that Takeoka is also working on KH4 since he's already done something as big as arranging and orchestrating a version of Dearly Beloved, and the development of KHML and KH4 is concurrent. Though unfortunately, the OST will take forever to come out. Oh right, Kameoka orchestrated the KHUX credits version. Really beautiful version.
I think this might just be my favorite version of Dearly Beloved. It’s just so upbeat and optimistic! Almost enough to convince me that this game’s story won’t end in tragedy.
Why was this part of the timeline forgotten? Why was Scala so empty? What was Luxu doing there? Tune in to find out in the next installment of Kingdom Hearts
Ok as a 30 year old man this gives me chills. All of the Dearly beloved do! To think that 22 years later i still get this feeling This is a master piece!
I see lots of mixed opinions, but imo each Dearly Beloved is beautiful in it's own way/fits the game it was made for. That being said, while not my #1 (that title belongs to KHUX), I still really enjoy the energy in this one. As a few people have pointed out, it kind of feels like a celebration 🥳
It’s different but it doesn’t hit like the others. I feel like I’m at a football game. The opening theme should and only be done with the piano. But I’ll still give this a like.
You’re saying all of the Dearly Beloveds containing instruments other than the piano don’t sit right with you? Pretty sure that includes every single one of them besides KH1
I feel like that's the point. Missing Link seems to be built like a more social game, especially with how it has co-op gameplay which we haven't seen since Days. The music reflects this by having a literal crowd stomping and clapping as part of its instrumentation.
This should be the version for The Realm of Darkness. Only something truly dark can create something more ear bleeding than Unchained X's Dearly Beloved. I'd rather they reused Union X's.

You must play all the games and you will love the songs, the characters and the story

Damn what a good first showing then
you can hear the difference in their methodology. not too shabby.

I SEE WHY THE KEYBLADE MASTERS WENT MISSING AFTER COOKING THIS MASTER PIECE UP !!
They were consumed by the fire they created
@@cyber_xiii3786 They knew they couldn't top this masterpiece!
THEY MADE IT OUTTA THE KEYBLADE GRAVEYARD WITH THIS ONE🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think this might just be my favorite version of Dearly Beloved. It’s just so upbeat and optimistic! Almost enough to convince me that this game’s story won’t end in tragedy.
You know how kingdom hearts is something of course will happen then we wait another 4-5 years for another one
It fits the theme of Missing Link since it is the Golden Age od Keyblade Wielders

Can’t wait to see what KH4’s version would sound like
The fact they can remix the same song dozens of times and each rendition being fire is just magical but 1:05 is when it HITS.
We going all the way to the football game with this one
Gives superbowl vibes ngl
@@mochhhhee I thought the same! I was telling a friend that fits for the half time of the Super Bowl! Heartless VS Nobodies! xD

The KHUX version sucks
Possibly the greatest rendition of Dearly Beloved. This feels like a celebration.
Okay this is legit the first time where I can EASILY see this being put into the latest TheatRhythm Final Fantasy game as DLC!
WE MAKING IT OUT OF QUADRATUM WITH THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Every new version of dearly beloved just gets better and better just like King Dedede’s theme, Awesome
This sound soooooooooo FREAKING GOOD !
WE'RE MAKING IT OUT OF SCALA AD CAELUM WITH THIS ONE! 🔥🔥🔥
It sounds like a celebration of everything that kingdom hearts is. I love it.
Leaving my mark in history before this video blows up in views years from now.
ITS TIME TO ENTER THE NEW WORLD!
We're gonna play Kingdom Hearts with this one!
Super smash Bros if they made dearly beloved
I've been waiting for this since the trailer dropped >:D. This rendition and KHUX's are my big faves.
we will rock you Kh version
Thanks for uploading this! Been waiting so long for this rendition!!😀😀
Melody of memory vibes.
This music slaps 🕺🕺
Broooooo, i want this for my Phone Calls 😭🔥
The change at 1:05 is so nice, and it really sounds like end credits but with a happy end :D
I do like this version, has a nice beat to it.
Sound like a remix of the Jazz Swing version used in Melody of Memories
I really do like it but I feel like it fits better as the ending credits than the title screen.
I can’t wait to jam this out when it gets released 😭
Epic title screen song
I don’t know how to feel about this one. It’s just so, different.
Apparently it was arranged by another composer, and it shows. Not necessarily in a bad way, but it shows
It follows of mom also being more upbeat. I like it
A new saga, is very fitting to be different.
Feels like a royal parade
This slaps 🤩💙
My favorite dearly beloved so far
Alright this hard
... Oh my god... 😢
this kinda goes hard..
So was somebody was going to tell me that 'link to all' was mixed in?
WE NOT GOING TO PELICAN BAY WITH THIS ONE!!!!!!
It almost sounds like I'm being sold some manly products and then turn into a game show. 😅
Wonder if there will be remixes
Glee version
Personally, eh… something about the stomping and clapping isn’t doing it for me. The vocals are cool though
Just like with MoM the upbeat versions of Dearly Beloved aren't for me.
Though it's still good.

The fuck?
This version is too cringy and out of place. Clearly not Yoko’s work and that’s unfortunate
ur loss bro this shit is fire
KH fans when Yoko's name isnt on a piece lmao
It’s decent. Give Yoko a break you bot boy.
