For 19 years Dearly Beloved has been the title screen music for KH, the instrumentation changes a bit every time, and while it's always a happy tune, it is distinctly *not energetic*, then this comes along, and flips that completely on it's head. I can't believe that after a decade of playing these games, Yoko can still make new versions of this track that hit me in the feelings. Love this track!

The "Throne" simbolism is starting to get a way more used than I expected But, if we assume that this is the same throne as Sora's with just some minor design differences, than the idea is that Sora's now gone, the throne's empty, and Kairi is sitting in it as a way to cope with Sora's loss, staying there and remembering the good momments they had If that's a different throne, than it becomes more simple, it could be kinda of a "queen's throne" or something, Idk

Sora is wearing a king crown in his picture with his chair, Kairi is in a different chair but with no crown. Usually a King and Queen would have two thrones next to each other, and Sora and Kairi's are similar, thus I'd say that's the symbolism.

I year late to the comment but, AS. a long time KH fan, yeah we got kinda gimped on music choices, not to say what we got was bad per se, but a few KH1 battle and boss tunes doesn't really portray the series in it's best light, pun intended. And that's where mods come in baby!

I’ve been with kingdom hearts since I was 5-6 years old, and hearing this at 22, made me so emotional, I’m so glad I never fell out of the series. It’s helped me with life
This makes my eyes water so much. It's just.. The original is filled to the brim with sadness, and it's present in all three games. Here, after Kingdom Hearts 3 as come and gone, it's an uplifting tune and I cannot help but feel bittersweet happiness and sadness at the same time. It's so incredibly profound, having this song be happy. Like everything they all went through really did end well. It's absolutely beautiful.
Though I imagine most people noticed, I find it cute that the three Sora pictures are him smiling at Kairi from the end of the numbered KH games. One up top is KH1 when the End of the World is collapsing. The one to the left of the chair is the end of KH2 when Riku and Sora get back to destiny islands. The one in the bottom right is the end of KH3 and them sitting on the tree (technically that one could be right before the final battle, but it being right before the Thanos snap makes more sense to me)

Yoko Shimomura is a legend and forever one of my favorite composers. I never knew a Dearly Beloved jazz version would be something so cool, so classy, and still withholds its roots to the original version. Melody of Memory will be a very fun game because KH has outstanding osts.

I’m no Kingdom Hearts fan but I was disappointed to hear there was no remixed music for Smash Bros especially no remixed Dearly Beloved

I year late to the comment but, AS. a long time KH fan, yeah we got kinda gimped on music choices, not to say what we got was bad per se, but a few KH1 battle and boss tunes doesn't really portray the series in it's best light, pun intended. And that's where mods come in baby!
This reminds me of something you'd hear around New Years or Christmas, obviously I've never heard this rendition before but it gave me nostalgic vibes immediately.

Once it actually started I was like "Why do I like this?" Its so good!

This makes my eyes water so much. It's just.. The original is filled to the brim with sadness, and it's present in all three games. Here, after Kingdom Hearts 3 as come and gone, it's an uplifting tune and I cannot help but feel bittersweet happiness and sadness at the same time. It's so incredibly profound, having this song be happy. Like everything they all went through really did end well. It's absolutely beautiful.

I had "You'll be Back" stuck in my head this morning until I listened to this.
Though I imagine most people noticed, I find it cute that the three Sora pictures are him smiling at Kairi from the end of the numbered KH games. One up top is KH1 when the End of the World is collapsing. The one to the left of the chair is the end of KH2 when Riku and Sora get back to destiny islands. The one in the bottom right is the end of KH3 and them sitting on the tree (technically that one could be right before the final battle, but it being right before the Thanos snap makes more sense to me)
This is absolutely phenomenal. Never would've imagined in my life a jazzed up arrangement of this could exist.

Reminds me of when Shoji Meguro made those Reincarnation Soundtracks for Persona 3 and 4. They always made Jazzy versions of the soundtracks as that was always his fallback until Persona 5.

Yoko Shimomura is a legend and forever one of my favorite composers. I never knew a Dearly Beloved jazz version would be something so cool, so classy, and still withholds its roots to the original version. Melody of Memory will be a very fun game because KH has outstanding osts.
