Coming from PS85, now using both RF01Pro and Shift 300 strung with HyperG 40 and HyperG Soft 36, both are good sticks. Comfy, good feel, enough power, better plough and stability naturally on RF01 Pro. Small sweetspot on RF? Its fine. In the end, to each on own, tho' reviews can serve as indication; taste, ability, stroke shape, type of play and opponents are different. For me a rec player playing 3x per week, once quite intensely w drills and others mostly doubles, these are fine sticks. Better than Boom, Extreme, Speed, BoostDrive, Ezone 110 and FX500. Much better than Whiteout. Zero regret using both on rotation.
I can see that coming from a PS85 this can be a super smooth transition. But for a 98/100 in2 headsize user the sweetspot feels like with 18x20 string pattern. It's really small and muted, feels almost stiff and hard. Maybe it's the string and tension, ALU Power on high tension doesn't really feel nice in these rackets.
As a Blade user, would love to hear a comparison between the retail and Blade Pros! I love my Blades but some times would like it to be a little firmer.
Hello!!!! Is the Blade 98 Pro V9 16x19 better than the standard 98 V9? I feel like I have to add a leather grip and 1g at 3, 1g at 9 and 1g at 12 to the normal version that I have. Could the Pro version be better? THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! ❤️❤️❤️🎾🎾🎾💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Hi, today I've finally hit properly with the Blade Pro V9 16x19 with Zdeněk for 2,5 hours of intense training and 1 set (I lost 5:7). The Pro version is definitely more stable and more solid. But I fight with the overall weight/balance and swingweight. I'm little bit late and during longer rallies I can't fight my rhytm with the Pro version. Timing is very crucial with this racket. The overall manooovrlbity is not as free as with the regular version. In this case I feel I'm not good enough for the Pro version and I like the standard one little bit better. But overall the solid feel at impact is wonderful.
I use the pro staff RF 90 and love them. Hitting the sweet spot is so rewarding ( and equally punishing when you don’t) The new RF pro just feels underpowered. Perhaps is my string choice and tension. It’s currently at 54. Any recommendations regarding strings and tension? Thank you so much and I really enjoy your channel
I agree. The new RF 01 feel underpowered. Easy to swing with, but the free power is muted by the very dense string pattern in the center. So the sweetspot is very small compared to other 98's on the market. I recommend lower tension around 48-52 lbs / 21-24 kg. And in combination wiht more elastic polyester, maybe even some Soft version.
I played with RF01 PRO. I've never played with worse stick. Sorry. There is absolutlety nothing behind it apart a marketing. However, in my opinion it's one of the most beautiful racquet at all. Great matt black ish colour looks great to me!
I can say the same about regular RF 01. I feel like it's already not a Pro Staff and not a Blade so far. My 315 grams 6 year old v 11.5 Pro Staff is way more better in terms of feel and precision
@@CzechTennisGuy I gave another chance to this racquet. Worked a bit with specs and strings. Now Im playing with Restring Zero/Solinco Vanquish and... I fell in love with this racquet. :D
Very good video

The Blade Pro has a thicker beam and is slightly stiffer. Its swingweight is circa 340G so it has serious mass and plough through. Great frame.

For me it's the opposite. It plays a lot better than it looks. Everyone feels it different.
