    After your video I was more focused on the how to hit and the grip. Yesterday I won I match against a guy I have lost to the last year 😁. He told me that I was hitting much harder than I used to and he didn’t have time to react 😁. I was hitting more flat, took the ball early and made some adjustments on the grip 👏👏. Dekuju🙏

    Yep. Flat hitter with an eastern grip. Love this racquet.

    I have the pro version and agree with everything. Specially hitting with a "flatter" swing path. This racquet thrives with "flatter" shots adding enough spin to them.

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  Місяць тому +1

      I can't agree more. The spin is there whenever you want it and the racket delivers the exact amount of it depending on how you swing. Most other rackets overdeliver topspin and you lose the speed of the ball. The RF's 01 are so meticulous in every detail that it just blows my mind every single time I hit with them.

      @@CzechTennisGuy That said, it is not an easy racquet to use. It is not the most difficult, but not easy. One also has to be very careful about the strings and tension used. I am still experimenting with mine trying to get enough of everything without it being harsh on the arm. It does feel pretty good with a poly / multifilament hybrid.

      The ALU Power 1.25mm feels excellent with this racket. I would not change a thing on this setup.

      @gab_ale Місяць тому

      @@CzechTennisGuy Full bed? Also what tension? I tried one with ALU Power 1.25 at 52 lbs and felt great, but it lost too much tension in about 1.5 hours. That's way too short for me.

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  Місяць тому

      @@gab_ale I didn't observe that at all. I've hit with the ALU POwer for several hours and it played almost better and better each time. I think anything bewteen 52-55 lbs should be great with this stick.

    The hype went really quick away regarding this RF racket.
    You can get better rackets on sale for 1/3 the price. like the Pure strike 98 and Pure strike vs or Blade or Synergy 98

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  Місяць тому

      These rackets you talk about are for sure for someone better. But not for me. Pure Strike 98 is too heavy with too high swingweight. Blade is outstanding, one of the best rackets to buy. But for me the RF 01 has crisper, cleaner feel and touch. And it works better with my flatter shots. I don't need too much top spin potential and Blade has some huge spi npotential, sometimes too much of it. I can't say anything about Synergy 98, didn't test it.

    • @benjaminjensen111
      @benjaminjensen111 Місяць тому

      @@CzechTennisGuy Maybe you should try the Babolat Boost Strike. Denser stringbed and 285 grams 33 balance and 290 swingweight. You cen weigh it up to your prefered balance and swingweight. and 1/4 of the new Roger line.

    • @benjaminjensen111
      @benjaminjensen111 Місяць тому

      @@CzechTennisGuy Maybe the 3 racket I mentioned you dont like...., but there is many alternatives in the 97"-100" to the new RF racket out there and they cost 1/2 or 1/3. ... the Dunlop CX line as an example. Pure strike VS/97. Pure strike 100. The tours/pros of Heads Gravity, Extreme, Boom/Radical and Speed line.
      So sale will be most due to nostalgia and for Roger fans that wants to support Roger in his pension plan. People that likes the RF autograph/RF 97 v14 still stick to those after demoing the RF 01.
      Maybe people will consider it on a broader scale when prices drops. I dont think Wilson will continue with a version 2, 3 years from now as no pro player will pick it up and bc profit will be very low and as he is out of circulation he will be more and more out of peoples minds. and so his deminishing fame cant sell rackets then.

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  Місяць тому

      @@benjaminjensen111 I think actually the opposite. Most of the RF97 users play with the racket just because of love for Roger, but they cannot control the racket properly, they just think it's the best racket because of Roger and the feel of the racket. Don't get me wrong, I've hit with the RF97 couple years ago, phenomenal stick, but who cares after 1 hour if you struggle to swing the racket properly. People who are real to themselves and want to play some good tennis on intermediate or advanced level must admit that RF97 is for todays fast paced tennis a burden. Switching to something like RF 01 Pro makes the most sense to me. For me tennis is always about finding the best balance betweeen fun and performance, more to the performance actually and if you prioritize that over the "best feel in the world" sensation that can come with hitting with the RF97, you realize that some lighter rackets actually offer more.
      The other rackets you have mentioned are also great so there is plenty of rackets to choose from for everyone. I bet they will make RF 02 for sure because the racket popularity is increasing, it just needs some time to settle little bit.

    So many simular and better playing strings to the aged and expensive Luxilon ALu Power.

    • @CzechTennisGuy
      @CzechTennisGuy  Місяць тому

      ALU Power remains ALU Power. There is nothing to change here. That's why it's by most top pro's on tour. Great playability with very good durability. Fast response and nice crisp yet quite soft feel. Very precise and control oriented string for full swing and huge cuts. It's expensive because it's worth it. If it wasn't that good, it would cost half the price.

    • @benjaminjensen111
      @benjaminjensen111 Місяць тому

      @@CzechTennisGuy I dont agree. Your reasoning is not very deep.
      I am racket technician, stringer and coach.
      The Alu Power playability falls off a cliff after 2-3 hours of play. This is well known and discussed on online forums. Being on tour is not a lakmus test for anything. Most of the stuff used by pros most people would have a hard time using. Even pros shoes are different (reinforced and heavier).
      Its not for rec and club players and its not for people with no sponsorship. There is just as good/better alternatives that cost a lot less and which have better playability duration.
      Alu Power should cost a lot less as its a very aged and basic polyester string from the past. It still cost a lot due to it being on tour which it mainly is bc they give it for free to the tour players. But its mainly the older guys (30+) on tour that uses it still.
      So people buy it retail bc some pros use/endorse it. It cost money to push strings to the tour players which Luxilon ( Wilson), Babolat and Head has.
      As a racket technician, stringer and coach I would never recommend that string to rec/clubplayers or any league/tournament players at regional/national level that has to pay for strings themselves. There is just too many strings out there now that plays better and have longer play life ( not talking breakage) and which is much more affordable.
      Alu Power should not only cost half the price but 1/4. But then the price would turn rich people off,
      With the price up they dont need to sell as much and people with a lot of money crave to be able to buy expensive,
      Luxilon has enough rich guys buying their stuff imagining it the best out there bc of high price.
      As I know better. Even if I get rich.... I wouldnt buy/use it.
      Babolat Pro Last you can exchange for Alu Power..... and thats a 200 m reel for 40 euros.
      Big Hitter Silver 16 reel is 80 euros and better than ALu Power.
      You have ALu Power clone... the Prince TOur XR 1.30 that cost 50-80 euros a reel
      There is Pros Pro Cyber Power at 40 euros a reel
      Alu Power Reel is 200+ euros.

      Thanks for the tips for another string. I will definitely try the Tourna Big Hitter Silver and maybe the Big Hitter Silver 7 Tour. Sounds promising based on many reviews. And the price is a "joke". I can't find the comment you posted but I have received it in my mailbox so I can reply to you anyway.

      I agree, it's not flat compared to the "real flat" hitters like Connors or some other guys from the "wooden racket" era. But for todays standards this is a quite flat hitting. I wanted to stress out the horizontal swing path that really goes well with these rackets.

      Yeah I know. Most people won't do that. But in case someone is let's say in the middle of his learning journey, it can be helpful. This is a guide that can help someone who is not sure whether the racket is good for his style.
