I have had more than 20 different rackets. The last was Blade 8 and 9 series. This one is best. Difficult to play with if you’re not doing the technique correctly. But then you get a feedback telling you what you must do better. The racket is not so much muted and the feedback is great. Honest review!
I’ve only listened to the first 5 minutes of this review and this has to be one of the most spot on reviews I’ve ever heard of a tennis racquet. Very well done and I feel this way 100% with the RF01 Pro. Okay, let me listen to the other half of the video.
Hello there well i have to say i dont agréé with you, this racket was a blast for me the first time i player a match with it. The feeling i ve had is the best since many years. You can imagine how pessimistic i was in the beginning because I am used to the pure aero
Hi, Did you find any differences in the sweetspot sizes ? Was having a look on TW lab, and very surprised to notice a very small sweetspot for the future compared to the 01. Same for the pro, which is listed to have an even bigger sweetspot than an Ezone 98 … I wonder how is that possible since almost every RF’s characteristics are the same. Thks
Good honest review. Enjoyed the content and your other videos. What’s your opinion on RF01 vs Blade 98 v9 16x19? I am considering these two but having hard time choosing. Your feedback on the blade is very positive.
Now after hitting with the RF 01 more I like it more compared to Blade. It suits my flatter style better. I have a semi-western grip close to Federers. I create spin when I need it, but most of the times I like flatter, more direct shots. Blade creates spin a lot better and it also has more free power and bigger sweetspot. But to control and precision is not that pin-point like with the RF 01. And also I like the feel of the RF 01 little bit better - it feels somehow crisper and cleaner. Of course the very dense 16x19 string pattern on the RF's makes a big difference. And one thing in partuclar aI like about hte RF 01 a lot - the balance. It's balanced more to the hand which gives me a lot more control of the racket. So the manooovrlbity and swing speed is a lot better compared to the Blade. I like how light the RF feels in my hand, yet it's very stable and great on all sliced shots. To sum it up. Blade is little bit heavier to swing with but the impact, the hitting experience, is easier overall. The RF 01 feels easier to swing with, but the impact and the hitting zone is harder, smaller, more challenging. But I don't mind, because I hit very clean so I can take advantage out of the smaller sweetspot and I gain great control, precision, touch and feel.
@@CzechTennisGuy hijacking this comment chain because I'm interested with the RF 01. I'm currently using the head speed mp (auxetic 1.0), since I just hit the court regularly again starting from last year. I don't play competitive, more casual/recreational, but I like learning better technique to improve my own, just so that I could play better. I hit flatter most of the time, and since I played one handed backhand you can probably guess why I'm interested in the RF. In your opinion, do you think the RF suits my play, should I decided to get one?
@@zickosaurusrex It can work for you pretty well. Because it's actually esier to swing with the RF 01 300g compared to Speed MP. And it's more rewarding when you do things right. Sweetspot is smaller, but you will improve your quality of hitting with the RF, because there is no other way how to enjoy the racket. So yeah, go for one.
I would say for most people the standard Blade 98 16x19 is more than enough. The Pro version is for very good advanced and pro level players who hit constantly good and who appreciate solid feel of the racket.
It has a really good "wooden" sound, especially on the net. Hitting volleys is wonderful. Today I tried the Pro version and sliced shots, volleys, smash - absolute joy.

Prince Graphite 100 Best
The Pro with low (35ish) tension is Purrrrfect.
With natural gut inside it must be a very nice combination. The Luxilon ALU Power seems to be too hard for this racket with higher tension I have.
