What you are saying about nobody caring about children's rackets also applies for seniors. My 70 year old dad came back to tennis and wanted to change his old Wilson Hammer 110 because it was to harsh on his elbow. It was pretty difficult to find any serious review about the rackets aimed for seniors (Oversized, light power rackets). Finally I got him a Yonex Astrel 120 just because I guessed it could suit him best. Luckily it did but I bought it blind. In general, getting any objective info about a racket that is not part of the big brands flagship's is almost impossible
I actually agree because what racquet you start with dictates your technique if you start with a lower powered control racquet it will affect your technique compared to starting with a powerful spin racket and the first racquet you start with isvprobably the most important as then things become muscle memory very good observation but what is right and what is wrong?? Weight is also very important and so are strings a lot of variables here..This can be a very deep rabbit hole to fall into as a coach myself I’ve started paying attention to things like this through observation..
Too expensive. 100" Speed/Extreme MP L/Team are bettter for the youngsters. 98" frames for the juniors are not a good idea. This video makes me believe Is should avoid the RF rackets. The string pattern is to narrow in the sweetspot especially for the younger players.
I agree and disagree at the same time. I agree that for this youngster this racket makes no sense. And actually you hit the sweetspot with your suggestion because for the next season we plan to buy him a Extreme MP L, which has the same specs except the smaller headsize (100in2). What I disagree with is saying that the RF 01 Future makes no sense for youngsters in general. Imagine young junior playing tennis since being 5-6 years old. Now at 14 years old he will hit the ball a lot better compared to Vincent, who started with tennis at the age of 12,5 so he is missing about 6 years of tennis, which is a huge amount of time and practice. Moreover Vincent is quite small for a 14 year old boy, he still needs to develop his body to a more mature one. But most of the 14 year old talents will have no problem playing with the RF 01 Future, trust me. Actually the Future model can elevate juniors game into a whole new level, if he tries hard enough.
Wonder if a small bit of weight at the sides would make it more forgiving without losing the good elements? Since the boy is used to a higher swingweight you have a little room to experiment.
you need to mix the spin with the power. Power without spin is not good.... and spin without power is not good also. This is greatly tweaked by strings and tension. Strings are 50% of the racket.
I tested Blade 100L V8 and made a review for Sportega, just google it. Excellent, super easy to use. But RF 01 Future is more delicate, with crisper feel, excellent touch and better control/precision. It's like a fine tuned Blade.

Volkl V-cell series is incredibly popular amongst seniors in my area.

Maybe, but he just tested the racket to have another experience. We don't plan buying him this racket. We will focus on Head Extreme MP L next year.

Strings are so important so is tension yet people are mainly obsessed with racquets and some can be very string sensitive..Good comment..
Blade 100L. Is best lighter racket
