I'm from another country, but your cooking is the best. I'm desperate to be healthy, but I think vegan is the answer. Both of my parents had dementia, so I quit my job and took care of them. Last year, they both passed away after 3 months. It was stressful. My parents passed away, and my body and heart aches a lot. I have a brain aneurysm on my head and two brain aneurysms. I even had hypothyroidism, so I suddenly gained 15kg. Anxiety disorder Panic disorder I'm still suffering from insomnia. It's been a year since my parents passed away, but I'm still in treatment, but it hasn't been long since I started again. I started UA-cam, took a walk, and went on a trip because I had the courage to share and communicate. Now I want to be healthy. I hope everyone watching this video is healthy. Please take care of your health first.
Just survived a divorce: these holidays were the first ones on my own/making new traditions has been bitter sweet. But oh so healing! Love your content!
This was the comfort I needed today. Every November through March is hard for me, especially with my mom's passing in 2015. Thanks for sharing this and for the reminder that even if we feel like we can't do it all, we're doing more than enough and that's all that matters. xx
Your channel is great and gives me more choices. I'm not vegan, but strive for organic ingredients. We are in a rural community, and get organic eggs delivered at $4.00/doz. You have such spirit to experiment with the alternatives. I only have egg substitutes if I can't get eggs. Its ironic, that on my post surgical diet, I am discouraged from eating vegan butters, because of all the additives. I'm off packaged foods, unless they have only a few organic ingredients. I guess it depends why you are adopting a particular eating lifestyle. Mine is to keep my liver and pancreas happy after gall bladder removal. Keep these recipes coming. I can eat most of them! Tofu is on the list.
I loved each and every one of these recipes, wow! I am definitely trying the stuffed shells (have been thinking of them for weeks :D) and I love you made them together, so special. The cinnamon rolls looked so so decadent too - might take the first place o my go-to recipe list! Also, my mum has been veganizing SO MANY of our family recipes using aquafaba it's crazy how great it works as an egg replacement. She does usually add extra butter/oil to make up for the lack of egg yolk but they work so great when you figure out the perfect ratios! Tiramisu has been my fave dessert for years too and I miss it from time to time but having so many nice vegan cream options (we have a great whippable one too!) these days I might actually try the ladyfinger recipe with your suggestions to see how it plays out! Well, this is a long comment but this video just clicked for me :D I really love your content and I cannot wait to hear/see more from you soon! Lots and lots of love for you and Eric!
Whenever I get tired of cooking I watch videos like yours and it just reminds me why I love cooking so much. It looks like the kitchen is such a zen place for you in your videos. Its nice to see. Beautiful recipes and tiramisu . Tiramisu I think freezes really well and can be great to bring to parties or whatever. I wish I had the patience to pipe the ladyfinger batter I always just spread it on a sheet and bake it flat and layer it, but your cookies look perfect! Thanks for all your work to put this video togther love the ideas I am thumbs up-ing for sure.
MY dad passed away in 2016 too!!😲😩I’m so sorry ! What a terrible thing to bond over lol I still feel bonded somehow 🥰 The holidays are harder now for sure. Hopefully yours just get better & better with your love 🙏🏾💕
Love your content. So cosy and chill. My boyfriend’s secret ingredient for mashed potatoes is grainy mustard and horseradish.. it sounds weird but it’s insanely good
Your chickpea stew is similar to a lentil curry I've been making! Instead of the spices I use red or yellow curry paste and add in finely chopped onion, carrot and sometimes potato. The lentils make it sooo nice and hearty and it heats up so well the next day
Vegetarian but love to eat vegan as well. I made traditional tiramisu over the holidays so this is fresh on my mind. The lady fingers look great but the creme mixture in your recipe that is supposed to mimic marscapone needs some serious work. How is that mixture of tofu/yogurt/butter supposed to set up in the fridge?? It’s just a wet and gritty looking mess because of how much water is in those ingredients. It’s no wonder it ended up too wet after refrigerating. I would try to incorporate a vegan whip, reduce the tofu/yogurt/butter and serve extra cold (maybe give it 30 min in the freezer to stiffen up the whip even more).
haven’t watched your vids in awhile and this definitely inspired me to try more vegan recipes! i love how calming your voice over is ☺️ all looks so good, thank you Sarah!
I made the buffalo tofu to go with dinner tonight and woah that’s my new fav!!! I plan on making every single recipe from this video. Thank you for creating and sharing them. You’re recipes are by far my favorite out of all the recipe creators I follow 😻
Can't wait to attempt some of your recipes... specifically your tofu almond ricotta! I grew up in an Italian family and miss having those classic pasta dishes. Happy New Year to you both!
Hi sweetheart. I adore your recipes!! I struggle with food for several reasons but mostly due to my autoimmune disease, Lupus and Hashimoto’s. I never seem to eat enough because I choose not o just not eat instead of putting crap in my body. I have struggled lately being busy at work and eating in general but I would really love to know if you have a cookbook I can look at or possibly purchase???
Your videos make me so happy! You make cooking look so easy calming and fun . I need to look at cooking differently than I do now. I need to slow down and enjoy what I'm doing. You definitely inspire me!
For the tofu katsu, I've also found air frying them is a good in-between. I don't really like frying things in house, but baking them makes them kinda stiff.. so I found air frying to be just right (:
Sarah, I love your videos. It’s like I found my soul sister in you. Not only I went vegan not so long ago, craved the same things as you (Tiramisu, Cinnamon Rolls), just recently thought about trying to use Aquafaba (you can find it in the stores sold in containers, so you don’t have to open a can of chickpeas just to get your hands on the liquid), I love the cozy vibes and very positive imperfection in your videos and - here’s the thing - my name is Sarah, too. 🥹💕 Much love to you! I really enjoy your videos so much. Thank you for your efforts. ☘️
I found it very comforting to listen to you talk and watch your delicious looking recipes. Thank you. Please investigate those ingredients in the curry mix....just for your personal health
It’s so crazy how you mentioned liking the sound of football playing in the background while making a meal because I feel the same way and I wasn’t sure if I was the only one 😂❤
I know this was a ton of work, but you are top notch with the presentation. I watch for the recipes, but your calm voice and the food eye candy are a close second ❤ Everything looks delicious ~ thanks for sharing!!
Happy new year to you both. I’m now craving stuffed shells, which I haven’t had in forever. Never heard of the “steaks” you mentioned, will have to check them out.
Every recipe looks incredible! Probably the tiramisu is the only one I'm not going to attempt (baking is not really my thing) but the others are so going into my arsenal, for sure.
I made the Eat Meati steak tonight. I found the texture was better if I used my spatula to cut the steak up in the pan while it was cooking and let each small piece sear.
Probably going to borrow Putting coffee in the curry I like the sound of that. If you want your curry to be a little bit creamer, Try putting in a couple of coconut milk ice cubes and some nutritional yeast I also put in a little A little bit of rice vinegar for tang, but I bet the ketchup as well. Also, if you can get a hold of the extra hot curry it has so much flavor and really isn't very spicy at all
Awesome video Sarah💛🌞 I’m the exact opposite when it comes the baking, I love to eat the sweets more than I love the process of making them lol! Much love:)
I know you're not much of a protein shake girlie but the brand Form Nutrition has a tiramisu flavoured post workout protein powder. It has 30g of protein per 40g of powder. It tastes kinda coffeey/mochay to me. Ive thought of making a breakfast tiramisu with an oat flour cake, tofu filling and that protein powder. I used for a hot chocolate the other day.
Just new to veganism and bit by bit transitioning the family and your recipes are super encouraging…my family will love many of these. Also thank you for using EVOO, I’ve been baffled by why so many vegan “influencers” avoid all oils including EVOO…it’s liquid gold!❤
There are people who avoid using oil, salt, and sugar so an sos free menu because we have food addiction. Oil (sugar or salt or any combo of them) can be triggering for us and cause us to overeat ☺️ it isn't the devil, it's just makes it tough to continue of a path of mindful eating. You want to eat how it works for you☺️
Happy new years Sarah and Eric, hopefully you're settling the move and are doing great things by being back home. Hope Eric is doing well with his health and spirits up and you Sarah are working on your cookbook.
Creating new joyful memories are amazing, thanks so much these recipes are wonderful, look forward to trying the lentil curry; will use green lentils and will try adding kale at the end instead of spinach
I like the oreo pie and your tireless efforts to make Tiramisu. Also loved the stuff shells and Cinnamon rolls. Panko got too brown but survived. Soups looks great too!
I would LOVE for you to make some struggle meals. In my state, folks who utilize SNAP get $280/mo for an individual, so maybe what you'd make for a week in that budget. I'm a full time vegan student with executive dysfunction so I genuinely spend a third of my waking hours thinking + stressing about having + making food.
Love watching your videos Sarah, you and Eric are such kind and lovely people, and it shows in the food. Always such a comfort watch for me, also your recipes are phenomenal.
Hey Sarah 🎉 thank you so much for these fabulous recipes! ❤ Have you heard of Gretchen's Vegan Bakery channel? She used to own a bakery and veganized a lot of her recipes. She uses aqua faba a lot. Hugs to you both!

Seems each year Christmas comes and goes by so fast ... I know exactly the melancholy feeling your talking about... My thing is I am also feeling it in the summer too which is odd....anyway loving your videos 💜💜
The melancholy is real! So many people I've spoken with these past couple of weeks were having a hard time feeling the holiday spirit. I spent the almost the whole month of December battling a terrible thumb infection that developed into an abscess. Not feeling well and not being able to really use my right hand pulled the plug on most of my holiday plans. Watching Sarah's videos really helped me get through the rest of December. I am looking forward to when I'll have full use of my hand so I can try re-creating some of Sarah's recipes. I really want to try her deconstructed egg roll dish and her recipe for vegan deli slices. That lemon orzo soup looked absolutely delicious.
Sarah, I so relate you the comfort cooking during football. I’m not necessarily into sports but prepping the snacks for the game is such a vibe. Thanks for sharing! Stay warm!❤
Love love loved this video! Agree that there’s something comforting about having a football game on in the background while you cook. All the recipes look wonderful & your stuffed shells recipe is almost identical to ours. Happy New Year!💚🌱💚🌱

Just watching this video made me feel comforted. Like a big food hug. 😊❤
I love this video style. I often miss you guys chatting when it’s exclusively voiceover but this is a perfect mix between vlog and voice over! :)
For viewers in the southern US, the curry roux is available at most Publix grocery stores 😊
