i did too on my mustang bumper left over night and went out side in morning and scraped all the paint off with a plastic scraper

Next time after you put this stuff on I used a cheep paint brush ,but after you applied it cover it with glad wrap seals it in works a lot better

I used Citra Strip on my 69 Elco restoration.
Used razor blade..followed by electric rotating wire brush.
It does not burn your skin nor stink like the aircraft stuff.
Much safer ...
I liked it...
After you strip the body down to bare metal...I wiped it down with Eastwoods..Fast Etch.
Now that you need to use care in the application.
It is an acid etch...
Check it out..worked great.

There is a new Aircraft stripper called Aircraft Ultra gel that is supposed to be really good similar to the old stuff
just not the same chemicals.

yea i prefer the flouride stuff. but not available anymore. THis worked good for stripping old synthetic enamels but not good for clear coat cars. that stuff is too hard. the non flouride stuff is OK and stronger than this stuff but this was good for what I was doing. I did put some on the fender and left it overnight and it took off even more layers with plastic on it. I was actually surprised. Not bad if you leave it under plastic for 12 hours.
