So true Eileen! I feel worse in the evening. After work I come home and I feel like I can’t relax I feel stressed. But it’s everything around me. After a nice shower I feel relaxed and get in bed and just rest. Thank you! ❤

I’ve have only ever had a hot moment in the evening…about 9.30…I read it’s tied in with the sleep hormone…

This is also very common, and often caused by low blood sugar and dehydration first thing. Have a good snack before bed and add in a small shot glass of warm water

I get hot-flushes at night especially when I turn from one side to the other in bed. Any idea why turning would trigger them? Thank you for very informative videos, Dr. Vogel. 😊

      Hi Zara
That's quite an unusual one! It can sometimes be due just to a sudden movement triggering your nervous system as you try to relax. Do you get dizzy or vertigo at all, it could also be due to the balance mechanism in your ear being suddenly disturbed as you move?

@@AvogelCoUk Yes, I do get vertigo. Thank you so much for clarifying. You are the first doctor to tell me this! It makes more sense now.
