I didn’t understand why or what was going on with my mom. Now I think back and you cannot tell me the changes weren’t due to menopause. I am thankful for Dr. Mary and other doctors on UA-cam that have helped me to understand as I transition. I have became my own advocate. I only wished that I would have known the information to help my sweet and wonderful mother. ❤️
Same with me & My Mother! The menopause affected her so badly it led to her losing herself & brought in a myriad of symptoms that lasted so long & caused her & her life tremendous suffering til her death 20 years later MUCH to pain of us her family so MUCH heartache.
I am doing a Tough Mudder at 49 and starting a UA-cam channel to share my journey of silent suffering with perimenopause because women’s healthcare is subpar. Instead of feeling sorry for myself I am using the past 12 yrs as fuel to help other women.
I've been taking low-dose HRT since the onset of menopause. I exercise regularly (HIIT training / weight bearing) and take curcumin. I practice intermittent fasting & eat a clean diet with lots of fruit, veg, nuts & seeds. Although I struggled with weight for much of my life, I am now trim & don't have the infamous 'meno-belly'. I feel fortunate. THANK YOU DR. HAVER !!! I WANT TO GIVE YOU A HUG !!! ♥♥♥
Hi doc! These are my menopause symptoms;. Vaginal & rectal dryness , itching, and pimples down there !sleep difficulty, dry eyes, ...it really sucks doc😢😢
I’ve left two toxic jobs in 2023. I’ll be 50 in a couple months and I won’t put up with the gossip, shit talk, and cliques you find in healthcare. I don’t have time for it and I don’t want to be around it. And like you, I’m highly employable
I'm 39, and I'm terrified of menopause because my mother's mental health issues accellerated as she aged and I am convinced it is because of menopause. She passed this year, divorced three times, bitter, depressed, and isolated from family.
Dr. Haver has a new free guide on Menopause Empowerment. Here is the link to get a copy: mailchi.mp/00fb4ddf891c/empowerment-guide Your mother's experience does not have to be yours! XOXO Community Support Team
I’m 41 and a therapist. I have clinical depression for the first time in my life. My dr dismissed it could be hormonal, which is what I thought. She gave me a prescription for Wellbutrin. Feeling frustrated….and this mood stuff is making hate my husband 😓. I’m taking the Wellbutrin because I could not work and be crying or on the verge of crying all the time
Supplements….u need supplements to help ur body out…if u take a calcium and d3 supplement then u also need to take k2-mk7 and boron…low doses…it’ll help tremendously….
Omg. I have been a Registered nurse for 22 years and had no idea all this stuffs will happen to me at 49 years. Thought I was loosing my mind, I thank God for Your channel and for your teaching and all the informations you are giving us.. THANK YOU
Thank you for this!!! I am finally putting me first. I am 50! I tell my feelings and have hard conversations. Never thought I would. My give a F bucket is full!!!
I have five sons (last one at 39!) then got lymphoma at 49. Remission ✅ got certified in spiritual direction✅Lymphoma again at 53-Car-T cell recipient-=remission ✅ life is precious and wonderful now at 55! These are our best days ladies! Been on HRT for many years and LOVE IT! You are my favorite female Dr! I share your videos with everyone. 💖
I dumped my toxic family this year at age 51 and am in therapy for CPTSD from the abuse. Still toughing out my job because I am close to being able to quit and do not want to look for a new job after being at the company for 23 years. (I have been bullied there as well but the bullies have left.) My chronic health conditions have worsened but I know now a lot of it has been perimenopause. On a side note, I have already been doing more regular exercise because of all the PT I have been prescribed and now do it at home 5x a week with my husband! Trying to eat well also. I am now off birth control and awaiting menopause testing (ablation prevents me from bleeding). I am grateful for this very helpful information and look forward to a healthy rest of my life. Thank you for all you do!
Had a biopsy by a male Dr years ago. Was told by my doctor that I did not need anyone to drive me home and didn’t need anything for pain. So far from the truth…it was horrible. Had to pull over on way home the pain was so bad. Thought I was going to pass out and I have a high pain tolerance. I was so mad at this doctor, which I had been seeing for years. Thank you for telling us the truth on so many levels!
YES to the "telling it like it is" One of my favorite lines lately is "Well they can measure my hormones so we know what is causing me to lose my mind, what's your excuse?"
Because of you, I ended up taking hrt from my obgyn and it has recently saved my life❤ Thank you for being such an advocate ~ I was getting cold and hot flashes every hour.😢I'm working on your Galveston diet and your suggestions on exercise/ strength training. It's a work in progress for me. I'm of Spanish/Asian decent. So I'm used to certain foods. Ah!
I am 61. I had a mirena until a year ago. Never had hot flashes worked out regularly did great through menopause. I figured I did not need it anymore and had it removed. I now have terrible joint pain now and cannot work out without pain.Feel tired, brain fog and not myself. Reading your book and meeting with my GYN this week. Thank you for your dedication. I am looking for answers and would like my life back. Hopeful.😢
I am in tears. Love you, Lady. Found a local menopause obgyn from your website, have an appt next month. Hubs & I get on well but oh my word my stepchildren especially the 17 year old...
Update: it's been a month of HRT and I'm feeling much better! I'm not like...instantly in my 30s or anything. It's a therapy not a cure as you say often. Significant improvement however. So I tell evvvveryone about you now. Thanks for all you do, Madame.
41 just started HRT . Honestly your channel and the information saved my life. I had been struggling to be heard by my doctor and with this info I found another one and got help . Thank you so much ❤
Thank you for saying I put me first. I been all about sacrifice and I think my hormones are finally pushing me to take care of me! Feels good to take care of me.
Spot-on again, Dr Haver !!! Thank you for educating us with candor and sass !!! Keep advocating for women and siphoning out the lies , myths, and draconian medical research ! Btw Seeds is a good probiotic. Be well and thank you for all you do❤️
Omg Dr Haver you are so genuine and speak from experience and expertise. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge with us so we can understand our symptoms. I will watch this video many times.😊
I think it would be easier for me to list the symptoms I DON'T have. I'm 54 & have been going through Hell with Perimenopause. To make matters worse I've had Fibromyalgia since my 20s. But in my mid 40s (after 3 miscarriages in my 40s) is when all of these extra, debilitating symptoms began. Fairly rapid weight gain (50 lbs) after being thin my entire life. Horrible hot flashes, intolerance to any temperature over 70°, almost chronic sore breasts, sudden development of rosacea, hair thinning, super dry mouth, my tongue burning, sleep disorder, anxiety through the roof, feet cramping & hurting so much that I can't walk for hours at a time, crying over stupid things, becoming more introverted, dry skin, restless leg syndrome, chronic nausea, GERD, high blood pressure, increased heart palpitations, IBS, ear aches, frequent sore throat, weird skin rashes, frequent UTIs, etc. I have been tested for EVERYTHING including diabetes, thyroid, Lupus, vitamin & mineral deficiencies, etc. I have low Vitamin D, so I am taking 1, 250 mcg of Califerol weekly as prescribed by my doctor. I'm taking Probiotics which have provided some relief from IBS. I haven't had any caffeine since May 2020, I have a low fat diet, eat plenty of fiber, drink tons of water (about 2-3 liters daily), etc. Three times I went 11 months without a period & then Aunt Flow shows up saying, "Surprise!" I had the Mirena IUD put in at 45 immediately after my last miscarriage (and replaced again at age 50) to prevent pregnancy but also to decrease the heavy flow of my periods I have had all of my life since I was 11 years old. I'm afraid to have the IUD removed because I don't want heavy periods or to become pregnant (my youngest child is turning 30 this year!). My doctor has checked my hormones so many times & keeps telling me that my hormones are within "normal" range. There is NO WAY that this can be true. My body is telling me a completely different story. I don't know what to do. I've tried all of the typical herbal remedies that are supposed to help (Black Cohosh, wild yam capsules, etc.). They haven't helped. My insurance is an HMO, so needless to say that my choice of physicians, tests & treatment are pretty limited. I'm at my wits end. Also, a recent ultrasound revealed that my left ovary has shrunk so much that it wasn't visable. Surely that's indication of crazy hormones or that I am about to reach Menopause, isn't it? Your videos are helpful & informative. Thank you for sharing your experience & knowledge.
Take k2-mk7 with the d3 to make it work properly also boron helps a lot with the menopause symptoms…amino acid therapy also helps…that’s what’s worked for me….doctors don’t know much about women’s health so no help from them…I stumbled on a lot of the data myself trying to manage symptoms I wasn’t aware of being part of menopause lol
When I started having heavy periods I found out a few years in that I had no detectable levels of progesterone in my body .was also low on testosterone too at the age of 47 ..once starting the BHRT cream my periods just stopped . It was a blessing to me .I went from being a mental wreck to calm cool and chilled once again.... added eatradiol to the mix a couple of years back ..I think I need more as I have had symptoms appearing that I dont like .. find a doc that does bio identicals .u will have to pay out of pocket for the visits but labwork is covered with insurance for me .. I hope u can figure this out for your health 😊
Literally just told my niece to learn to say NO before it destroys her she said its so hard, Yes it is...but doing what other people want is also hard...CHOOSE YOUR HARD❤
I simply Love you!!! You are so passionate about this and teaching women. Thank you sooo much. As a woman who started hormone therapy during perimenopause and then had a complete hysterectomy 8 years ago and still on HRT. IM USING THe Galveston diet to loose 80 pounds.
I give a shit less. Huge boundaries. Me and my kids first. I’m done. If I don’t I will not survive. The straw did break. ❤. Just found you. So thankful. I ordered your cookbook.
I am 55, partial hysterectomy 24 y/ago. I am having all those nasty symptoms you mentioned at the beginning of this video. I have gain a crazy amount of pounds within the last 3 years 😢 I begged my primary doctor for help but never did anything to the point of get me so mad and a just walk away from his office. I live in South Georgia, in a little town with limited access to medical help. Please hel me found the right Dr to get the help I need. My joints, my terrible mood, my overweight, my children and my husband will thank you and so will I.
Hot flashes, night sweats, alarming weight gain, insomnia and inability to stay asleep (whole life, coordinates with my cycle), debilitating random pain in different limbs that comes and goes overnight, sudden electric zings, dry eyes, hair loss, debilitating out-of-the-blue panic attacks (that I’ve now realized occur on days of changes in my cycle), itching that has been going on since my teens but accelerated in my mid-30s and coordinates with my cycle (every doctor so far has refused to see if it’s hormone related and just prescribed topical medicine). Half of these started mid-30s, and then the rest hit like a ton of bricks at 40. No doctors will test if I’m in perimenopause because they have all said “you’re too young.” I’m so frustrated!!!
I loved this post - my first but not last intro to you Dr Claire. I am soooo pumped to hear of the benefits of HRT when started before 60... I had heard it was when started before 50.... I'M 57 and I've been on HRT bio identical for 2 years now after 10 years of working with peri menopausal and menopausal symptoms only the 'natural way' through supplements, lifestyle choices (yoga, exercise, good body weight, balanced diet, listening to my body more, voicing my needs more, learning to say no). I was afraid of HRT's... it is only when I heard of the benefits of HRT and of the new data to support it that I changed over. I have tried so many things (menopause supplements, herbs) and nothing... nothing has given me more results than HRT. Hot flashes were not even my primary motivation for going on HRT... but wow they are gone and the other symptoms (which were horrible... mental changes, anxiety, feeling blah, waking up because of adrenaline rush in the middle of the night, becoming more self critical and lots of self doubt, impatient, inner rage, skin issues - eczema, feeling cold and chilly then hot flashes, insomnia, oversensitive, hamster wheel brain - sometimes songs would play endlessly in my mind, sore feet, a case of very bad hip pain that would wake me at night, chest pains, worse allergy sensitivity, ... but now I feel 80% better. That is huge. The rest I've recognized depends on how much sleep I get , regular time out for myself, keeping active but also giving myself time to rest, eating well... and just recently I've decided to add muscle building to help my bones get stronger. Thank you for being part of the solution.
I can save my sister but I may be done.. I have breast cancer, recently diagnosed but not giving up... just have a F everybody moment and started looking for my own apt. This is tuff but watching you gives me hope. I wish I would have found you 3 years ago before my historectomy (partial) could have more info from obgyn.
Amen!! Dr. Haver, thank you! for all your wisdom!! Studies! God Bless you!! I am 55 and I feel hopeful again because of your educational videos content... Thank you!! I appreciate you so much!! God Bless you!!
Hi !Im from Croatia, and folow you for some time ,looking for answers .Im in perimenopause and I m not me anymore. This is HALL !!!!THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.
I barely noticed menopause. Only the changes in my period. I'm not saying I was symptoms free. But my symptoms could be related back to other health issues. At 63 I just decided to try hormone replacement therapy. Why, for other symptoms. When you have other health issues it's easy to contribute all your symptoms to them. I have environmental allergies, my vitamin D dips on the low side. My allergies took a turn for the worse when I was going through peri-menopause. Then there was the unexplained change in my bowel habits.
So I had to have Surgical menopause about 20 years ago and they left my ovaries in and I thought that was it for all these years. I didn’t know any different. I just learned from you that the ovaries really made a difference. I’m so glad I did that! Thank you Dr!
FANTASTIC video Dr. Marie-Claire… I had a full hysterectomy at 42 & went immediately on HRT. I’m 62 now & still lifting heavy weights, etc. My Gyno put me also on oral progesterone as she said there are benefits other than protecting the uterus which I no longer have (or ovaries). What can I do to mitigate the affects of having my hysterectomy at such a young age as you referred to? Thank you so much
My wife was traumatized by lack of pain management during her uterine / cervical cyst biopsies. As IF the Perimenopause and loss of libido and no touch wasn't enough, now we have to address the trauma and avoidance of ANYTHING happening. So much for her "great" OBGYN with the stellar reputation.
Going to be buying your books 📚 when I can. I ache to get on my feet again in my 40 ‘s starting soon. Menopause in ALL 30’s has had me bummed out entire 30’s. Freaking decade.
❤❤ recently discovered you and think your absolutely amazing in the uk 🇬🇧 doctors are often misdiagnosing perimenopause as fibromyalgia and its bloody ridiculous Lots of love xxx
Is this real the coughing I mean? I started coughing terribly 2 years ago and the doctors keep saying it's dust mite allergies but it started all if a sudden and nothing helps it. Ugh...
NAC….it will make it go away…I get it from Swanson supplements online…it’s an amino acid that helps the mucosal lining in the lungs etc…it also helps with the mood etc as an added bonus…but u have to take consistently cuz it builds up to fully working….the body needs extra nutrients at the stage in life and we don’t get much nutrients from our food anymore so all the symptoms are ur body trying to tell u what it’s needing…and since we aren’t told anything about our health and physiology anymore, so many of us are low in nutrients and high in bad stuff like candida…once the body starts struggling it starts having problems keeping up with the normal daily functions…these are the moments when stuff like candida start to become chronic and causing even more symptoms and illnesses…dental problems and brain fog bad….one way to tell if ur high in candida in ur gut is if u suffer from yeast infections….we are told it’s normal to have a yeast infection after the monthly visitor but that’s so not true…any infection is saying that the body has had some sort of stress out on it and it’s not able to manage these issues so u have symptoms…symptoms are the body speaking to us and working so we just have to figure out what it’s needing.,,,and that’s fuel in order to thrive…vitamin k2-mk7, d3, boron, amino acids and all the B vitamins especially…and the tests the doctors run aren’t accurate when considering things that are happening in our bodies….we need more of the above mentioned vitamins especially because we are women and at that age…to prevent bone loss….so why aren’t doctors telling all women this? They don’t care and have a lot of other things to fix like broken bones…those are the big money for them…diagnostics aren’t as profitable and neither are wellness checkups ….so we have to figure it out on our own apparently…I’ve improved my own health tremendously and have a whole new outlook in the healthcare and wellness field/topic…what they tell us is not the truth…and is actually causing more harm then anything
I am recently coming to the conclusion I am going into menopause. I'm 43 and I still have periods and not sure if you can be menopausal and still have periods but I am literally experiencing all the symptoms severely and even in the worst of times in my past, I have never felt rage the way I do now. I have panic attacks. Feel like I am having a heart attack from it. It is a nightmare. The forgetfulness is getting so bad that last week I locked my keys in my car (forgot them in the ignition) went to the next town over to get my daughter from practice, was early so went to the store to kill an hour and forgot all about picking her up ... completely (how the hell is that even possible! I felt like the worst mother in existance!) And THEN.....I forgot to go to dinner I was invited to after that , which i was reminded of earlier (only about 2 hours before) and it was hours afterward once I remembered it! This was ALL ONE DAY!
I've been starting to try and prepare with information and YOU my dear are an actual HERO. Honestly. Smart and with a big heart. Thank you so much for your care and generosity for us women xx!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you 💟🌺 Subscribed~
You have such beautiful skin. Will you do a video on how you have kept beautiful. I am wondering if it is related to hrt, diet, fasting and exercise. Stuff that is doable.
Yes I am fatigued plus maybe 70 symptoms but good nutrition is giving me energy. Exhausted days end but nutrition is powerful. Hair falling out like crazy as if my thyroid is hugely low but isn’t. On dessicated thyroid but hair still falling out. Hormones.
Omg I am 50 and quit my job too last year . Had very low haemoglobin . I am looking too to do things that I like . And wow planning too to write a book .
Dear Dr. Haver, I have watched several of your videos and I believe you are the most trustworthy person. Therefore, I really hope I get your advice. I am fro Europe, Slovenia, 50 years old and perimenopausal. I have regular periods, but they are very painful, I bleed heavily and they last even 14 days. I have PCOs and 2 fibroids [ 3,6 cm and 2,7 cm ]. I often feel nervous, which I am overcoming by breading exercises and short meditation. I keep forgetting things, which is extreemely annoying, because I am a teacher and I have to stay focused for at least 8 hours a day. I am sick very often, different inflammations [ mostly synositis and throat inflammations] and I feel bloated most of the time. I take probiotics, eat diverse food, rich in fibers and protein, I use cold pressed olive and coconut oil mostly and I take D3, C, Calcium and Magnesium supplements. I exercise almost every day - stregth and cardio. I have got hypothiroism, but no therapy,, otherwise I am Ok. My ginekologist advised me to insert Mirena - IUD to overcome my period difficulties and she says that my fibroids will probably lessen. But I am hesitating. I would really appreciate your advice. Thank you in advance. Greetings from sLOVEnia. Natasha❤
I am a 53 years old and I used to wear adult diaper during my period time which really very heavy bleeding ..So I was asked by my doctor to visit a gynecologist and was diagnosed with fibroids ( about 6 to 7 of them and some were like 5cm to 6cm huge) in my uterus..That was in 2017 and got my hysterectomy done..
DIM is an aromatase inhibitor, meaning it stops testosterone from aromatizing into estrogen. She is right, it doesn't technically lower estrogen but it's not quite as she says. It's like the doctor saying the pill doesn't cause weight gain, and you find out that it instead causes insulin resistance, which itself leads to weight gain. Technicalities, but yes, the pill is associated with weight gain and DIM does affect estrogen levels. I am using DIM now with my hrt and i think it helps me feel better. I can concentrate better. My testosterone is in the high normal range for a non perimenopausal woman so it's higher than it was before DIM. I think it's okay to experiment. DIM is not expensive.
Re the saliva tests for cortisol, I'd just like to say that you can have cortisol issues without Cushing's or Addison's disease. I live in the UK, a blood test may be borderline and GP's will tell you that you're fine. However you can feel the negative effects of adrenal issues without levels being extremely abnormal. Having recovered from adrenal fatigue (I know that most medical practitioners do not recognize this term but it's very real) I certainly felt the effects of prolonged stress and hormone fluctuations, anxiety, heart palpitations, extreme fatigue. I didn't feel the need to have a salivary or blood cortisol level done but used diet and exercise plus meditation and yoga etc to bring my levels of stress down and get my life back. My peri symptoms feel extremely similar to the adrenal fatigue so please don't poo-poo people who are experiencing these symptoms and are looking for answers. They will be told they are grand by a GP if they ask for a blood test. Shame, but in the UK if it isn't in the NICE guidelines,it doesn't exist!
I’m 40 and in perimenopause with uterine fibroids but my obgyn won’t give me hormones because I’m a smoker. I have to try to quit smoking while battling this anxiety 😬 this is a nightmare. She did refer me to a endocrinologist though to check my Hashimotos and other hormones.
I’ve had these symptoms since age 32 and they have gotten worser. Last child I had in 2019 at age 39, sex drive once was low now it’s non existent, I’m a mean bitch to my kids and grand kids, I have insomnia so I work at night, I’m just realizing I am perimenopausal and may be entering menopause soon( still have periods but they are irregular and have been for years). I’m sad but overjoyed to know I’m not alone, not crazy( yet), not dieing of cancer( aging towards death) but still glad my depression isn’t me being mentally disabled. I’m going the naturapathic route. Lifestyle/ diet changes. I wish it were local support groups that us women could meet up at and discuss our journey in person as group counseling or something. I really thought I was dieing, had long covid(even though I have not had it or the vaccine), I don’t know rather to scream, shout or laugh, right now I just want to cry.😢 I’m 43 and it feels like my body is breaking down.😔
If I didn't know better I would have wondered if I was the one who wrote your response. Literally feel like I'm dying when I wake up and my mood can be triggered by something and instantly feel like I'm dying. I pissed off. Never experienced true Rage like this before. Anything I once felt seems laughable looking back, like I thought I knew ......pfft!!!😂 I'd take me feeling pissed off 10 years ago anyway.....that was a cakewalk!
32:57 I just started hormone therapy but I am 59 years old ( 60 in August) should I just stop? I hvae conserns because of higher risk for women starting late on hormone therapy.
I’m on carnivore so very low fiber for me. I know this diet doesn’t work for everyone but upping fat in women is so important and I feel like no one talks about it especially in peri and menopause.
Itching ears yes…..bleeding gums every night ……going to my dental hygienist before 6 mths. Psychiatric symptoms yes ! 😢😢 I have said my mind yes in this time of my life. More outspoken yes ! Use to be shy. To hell with it.
42:19 I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy 1/2/24. I am 65 and had post menopausal bleeding. (I had an ultrasound and D&C where several small fibroids were found. The biopsy was negative.) I still have my ovaries. I am still on Estradiol (2mg) and Progesterone (200 mg) I’m questioning if I need the progesterone since I had my cervix removed. (I also had my uterus and tubes removed) I was released 3/2/24. I haven’t had any issues other than extreme fatigue. My PCP done blood work and all was good. Should I question my GYN Dr. about the fatigue and progesterone since I had my cervix removed? Thank you for sharing all your knowledge to all women!
I noticed that I don't put up with family members crap... I tell people the truth regardless if it hurts their feeling or not....I can't stand hypocrites...I Devorced my family a long time ago
Ozempic slows the emptying of the stomach and helps to control the feeling of satiety. I am on them because my A1C has gone up. I eat clean keto so there is only one explanation for it- menopause. I’ve lost 9 lbs since I started Ozempic. On 10 units and doing well. I’m also doing residence training and Pilates along with yoga and walking. I am carrying extra weight that I’ve gained over the 7-8 yrs of undiagnosed peri - 30 lbs (had already lost 30 prior to Ozempic) gained 60 lbs total) - also have clinical depression, severe adhd Currently on testosterone replacement after 2 yrs of no help and a horrible estrogen replacement fiasco with an “absent” provider. My PCP was/is still of no help. Considering adding estrogen to testosterone and getting mirena again had one for 5 yrs before going menopausal. It’s mostly why I didn’t realize perimenopause . happening.
Today is definitely the day I can say yep...its happening, im 45 and today im hot, cold ,i can't sit, cant sleep,my stomach feels like its on fire .. painkillers are not making a difference. Ive always noticed a difference from a couple of years ago but today i don't know what to do with my life....a few chin hairs,im itching,i feel sick..im five years celibate so i can't notice changes there. I just wish i could sleep for 3 days. In one word its like i have all the man i e wronged in my life, rejected stomping in my stomach and back.. just taking turns and going ar it.
Hi dr Haver! Greetings from Europe! I'm so glad I found you! I'm on Jaydess so I haven't had my period in several years. I'm in my late 40's and i've had a terrible brain fog for the past year or two. Also had the shoulder joint problems. And I get hot flashes at night and keep waking up so I'm up at 3 am most nights. So all in all probably a perimenopausal mess. Would you recommend HRT for me? Thank you! And BTW I have also put myself first and now I know why 😊 Happy New Year!! 🎉
My mother had a belly by the time she was 37/38…… same time I am developing it…..and she has had a belly into her 70’s now. Lost 50 pounds in the last 2 years me radically changing her diet from diabetes blood sugar in the stratosphere …….she kept eating the same way no changing her diet or supplementing her diet or eating healthy……Or hormone therapy…..she use to collapse on the couch after we left for school in the 90’s only in her 40’s……from 40’s onward she didn’t take hormone medication……hence I have had a chronically sick mother all my life from childhood. I am approaching 40 and premature menopause. Looking back all my mothers symptoms were low progesterone hereditary I have too my progesterone was massively low suicidal ideations on it 1-2 weeks those thoughts left me . Bio identical progesterone saved me from suicide. Begged my dr for it. And low estrogen too……eventually. My mother isn’t easy to help let’s just put it that way. Not ending up like her.🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️😥😥😥 I will fight tooth and nail till I get bio estrogen cream . On dessicated thyroid and bio identical progesterone now need bio identical estrogen. 3 plus decades my mother has had a belly visceral fat ……NOT going down that route …..diabetes , heart disease now cardiologist end of May. Another factor that is keeping me fighting for my health and eating healthy is I have no family, no siblings, theoretically an orphan my faith keeps me strong had a Godly grandmother 👵 and her influence massively inspires me daily …..I have to think 🤔 of survival on my own and that too keeps me fighting for my health…..father died diabetes which led to cancer death brain cancer died age 55 , both parents chronically 🤒 sick, my brothers are alcoholics, one lives on his own abandoned the family zero contact , my older brother is a heavy drinker , both sides of the family alcoholism, I HAVE TO KEEP FIGHTING FOR MY HEALTH BECAUSE MY VERY LIFE AND EXISTENCE DEPENDS ON IT. EVENTUALLY I WILL HAVE TO LIVE ON MY OWN. PRAYING 🙏🏻 MIRACLES. No one is there for me now , I can’t get very sick needing help , I have no one.
I didn’t understand why or what was going on with my mom. Now I think back and you cannot tell me the changes weren’t due to menopause. I’m suffering silence so badly, been 5 doctors, no one taking me serious.
I’ve left two toxic jobs in 2023. I’ll be 50 in a couple months and I won’t put up with the gossip, shit talk, and cliques you find in healthcare. I don’t have time for it and I don’t want to be around it. And like you, I’m highly employable
We just don’t have the patience!! The degree of “pisstivity” is off the 📊!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I love how you stand up for women when they're treated like shit by a Dr. You rock!!
Here is the link to get a copy: mailchi.mp/00fb4ddf891c/empowerment-guide

I’m 41 and a therapist. I have clinical depression for the first time in my life. My dr dismissed it could be hormonal, which is what I thought. She gave me a prescription for Wellbutrin. Feeling frustrated….and this mood stuff is making hate my husband 😓. I’m taking the Wellbutrin because I could not work and be crying or on the verge of crying all the time
My mom too😢😢💔 now ne😢😭😭
❤
Supplements….u need supplements to help ur body out…if u take a calcium and d3 supplement then u also need to take k2-mk7 and boron…low doses…it’ll help tremendously….
Omg. I have been a Registered nurse for 22 years and had no idea all this stuffs will happen to me at 49 years. Thought I was loosing my mind, I thank God for
Your channel and for your teaching and all the informations you are giving us.. THANK YOU
Thank you for this!!! I am finally putting me first. I am 50! I tell my feelings and have hard conversations. Never thought I would. My give a F bucket is full!!!

It's crazy what they expect us to just deal with. If it was their weiners, all the pain meds would be available.
In my case it was a FEMALE Dr!
I'm 72 ,hot to cold feet and hands. Otherwise weird symptoms come and go. Thankful to be alive..each day is a gift.
YES to the "telling it like it is" One of my favorite lines lately is "Well they can measure my hormones so we know what is causing me to lose my mind, what's your excuse?"
Geez, I am loving you this morning. A real shot of reality and support. You completely rock!
I really don’t know how this works but I know it’s lovely have someone to educate stuffs like this right.
Be well and thank you for all you do❤️
OMG I effing love you sister. You just got yourself a subscribe. The give a shit filter is legit real
I love how fast you talk😂 my adhd is happy
Omg. Me too, but I don't have ADHD.
You did too much mirena etc
If taking high blood pressure medication, do not take any vitamin k.
What a remarkable lady! I wished I knew all these 7 years ago!
I have sooo much respect and gratitude for her❤
Thank you so much! I’m 52 and menopausal. I was told hormones weren’t an option for me due to my history of ADH. This is refreshing!
What is ADH?

Itchy skin, irregular period, thinning hair, weight gain, sugar craving, achy joints..help 😢
I simply
Love you!!!
Oh yeah! Me first for the first time in 23 years. It’s a slow hard transition and I’m starting to catch on!
How great is this girl? She really is great it’s like yay some good news in Ocean of bad news. Thank you we love you.
WOW SO INFORMATIVE! please hurry with your book!!! #subscribed
I'm grateful to have found your videos, thank you from New Zealand
I love your podcast. I went to a gynecologist in San Antonio and was advised to just read your book and was sent home so confused.
Hey Mary !! Thank you for all you do for us woman 🎉

Sorry to hear about your dx have you looked into a herbalist or homeopathic Dr. ?

Hi !Im from Croatia, and folow you for some time ,looking for answers .Im in perimenopause and I m not me anymore. This is HALL !!!!THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.
I use lanolin in my nostrils to counter dry sinus…..it would work for ears too. It’s in the breastfeeding section.
I adore your realness! Thank you
My question was answered in 5min of listening to you. Thanks so much
❤ The most informative video I have ever seen!
Thank you so much
❤thank you so much!! also extra ❤❤ for speaking out against premarin 💪 it‘s horrific.
The more Stellar the reputation of these doctors, the more out in another Stratosphere they are😤
Going to be buying your books 📚 when I can. I ache to get on my feet again in my 40 ‘s starting soon. Menopause in ALL 30’s has had me bummed out entire 30’s. Freaking decade.
OMG... that part about the 'give a shit' filter, hahahah. SOOOOO true!!!
Nice you re covering it now. Love you!
❤❤ recently discovered you and think your absolutely amazing in the uk 🇬🇧 doctors are often misdiagnosing perimenopause as fibromyalgia and its bloody ridiculous
Lots of love xxx

Most people I know are being told they have fibromyalgia not which I think it is
Menopause symptoms!
Itchy ears and chronic cough ... I never would've guessed they were due to menopause, but here we are. 🙃
Chronic cough??? I have that too, I wonder the cause.
Do you also have gerd with cough
Same
THANK YOU!!! for your diligence in getting the word out about such GREAT information that we need to know!
I am so happy I found this channel. I am 46 and starting to experience symptoms. I have to find a doc in Maryland.
Congratulations on your success 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯🎉🥳🥳
I screamed and cried! No offer of pain meds whatsoever. It was horrible.
Just pre-ordered your book!! So excited!!
I've been starting to try and prepare with information and YOU my dear are an actual HERO. Honestly.

OMG I quit my job 2 years ago! 😂 I went back to work, but the point is...I quit. I love your passion about this topic.
Love how you get so involved in the live vids😂. That comment about the dr that needs to be reported. I sure hope the gal did report him.
I can’t wait for your book!!!!🎉
I still get my period and my doctor was confused because the blood work came back I was in full menopause. But the next time it came back normal.
Oh my gosh, publish that book now. I need it :)
Rather than taking probiotics in pill form, why not just drink kefir or eat fermented foods like kimchi, sauerkraut, etc.?
I need this talk ♥️
Thank you so much for this 🙏
I’m 40 and in perimenopause with uterine fibroids but my obgyn won’t give me hormones because I’m a smoker. I have to try to quit smoking while battling this anxiety 😬 this is a nightmare. She did refer me to a endocrinologist though to check my Hashimotos and other hormones.
Thank you for the valuable information.
Thank you for all this information!
Omg I love you 😂 I live in Missouri I wish I could have you as my Doctor!

What about a SERM like femerelle? It's natural and I find it helps so much and I also take progesterone natural yam cream

What do you think about pro vitalize it’s a vitamin that’s out there they have all these commercials I was just curious what you think about it??
I understand if you are on estrogen, you need to stay on progesterone to balance your hormones. Do some research on this
I noticed that I don't put up with family members crap...
I am carrying extra weight that I’ve gained over the 7-8 yrs of undiagnosed peri - 30 lbs (had already lost 30 prior to Ozempic) gained 60 lbs total) - also have clinical depression, severe adhd
Currently on testosterone replacement after 2 yrs of no help and a horrible estrogen replacement fiasco with an “absent” provider. My PCP was/is still of no help. Considering adding estrogen to testosterone and getting mirena again had one for 5 yrs before going menopausal. It’s mostly why I didn’t realize perimenopause . happening.

I loved your videos.. Thank you!🙌🙌🙌
Need more info on PERIMENOPAUSE for my daughter who had ectopic rupture
