The latest BT Smart hub for FTTP won't allow you to split the signals - it's a real bugbear for many users and my older smart bulbs only use 2.4 and so I can't connect to them now. (Unless they've updated the firmware since I checked).

How do you extend the power cable?

You could use a USB Extension cable or buy a longer USB A to micro usb cable

What if you are hooked up direct and still have buffering and you have plenty of memory

Then you need to check your internet speed coming into your home, if it’s more than 15mbps then the problem is likely to be at your stream providers end.

I am not sure why this is, is your remote working ok? have you tried changing the batteries. If its not the remote batteries then please contact amazon for assistance.
