I hear what you are saying about the credit system being too generous but I think that 1-3 credits is a harsh drop considering the actual costs of items and the fact rerolling is expensive too
+ReasentlyDeceased yeah, I agree that perhaps 1-3 is a tad low. If it was a guaranteed 5 per boss that'd probably be a bit better

+Xevi Corral for online games endgame credits are mostly from dailies and weeklies which is a common set up for most MMOs or online games.
+orrthehunter its a competitive game where gear matters a lot. A selected few have all the gear they want with no effort while the rest will have to grind for months, that makes sense?
Xevi Corral it is a basic set up online games follow that dailies and weeklies provided the most endgame credits. RNGod will always be RNG so there will always be people who get lucky and get the drops they want from boss drops and challenege mode guaranteed high-end gear drop and there will be those who are not and would just simply take the easier way of obtaining endgame gear through endgame credits.
The easier way being endgame credit path has always been set up as the slowest path to obtain endgame gear in online games. If players want the fastest path then they must defeat endgame bosses for RNGod to drop something or complete Challenege Mode dungeons and pray RNGod gives them a good High End gear.

You could also turn right just before the shopping center and head for about 2 blocks into dz03 and you'll find a boss there then head to the far left side of the map to the cleaners area and repeat the process

It's weird that I've been following you on Twitter for quite some time and have never subbed until now lol.
I run that exact route except clockwise around the map it gives better vantage points on the bosses and allows to attack them faster. As far as DZ rank all that it matters for is purchasing blueprints, so after 50 it's pretty much pointless. I know bosses spawn in the pve area at the same locations everytime I've been meaning to look for a route out there to farm phoenix credits. Same drop rate but their adds are red bars and not yellow like in the DZ. I'm sure the item drop rate isn't the same but you do get the luxury of not having to leave the dark zone every so often to clear out your stash and can just immediately breakdown items for crafting supplies... it's just a thought
+Arekkz Gaming you forgot to mention random named elites in the PVE zones. So far those also dropped a couple phoenix credits for me today. Though i really dislike the nerf i guess we're stuck with it for now.
I reckon the fastest mission to get phoenix credits from on challenging is the first security mission you do. You can bypass the first wave of mobs by simply running down the right on ramp by leaping over the guard rail then run all the way up to the main area. Kill the enemies, then leave one person outside to take aggro of the ads when defending the JTF officer disarming the bomb. This way you only have to deal with one wave of enemies. Then just quickly burn through the final part of the mission running up close and behind the boss burning him down. You should be able to get this done in 30mins. Fastest way to farm credits without the hassle of the darkzone, plus you will always get 1 gold drop every time.

Hit 30 in the last few hours and got my first high end weapon :). Going to be fun in the dark zone but I'm interested to hear what you have to say builds wise for solo players especially snipers :). I tend to favour the bolt action high alpha damage rifles like the m44.

Gareth it's not even that. It's just that the developers put in time to make a game not to rank up fast but to enjoy the experience. That's what ruined destiny for me also

+marquise franklin doing the standard 1 main mission then the 3 side missions in your level zone gets you to 30 really fast.. I understand if you are waiting for friends to catch up cuz they have less time but people are idiots.. a ton of people have no idea how to play the game.. they just wanted to go dark zone at such low levels then they just keep doing higher level main missions and struggle. It's a simple process and imagine having a team of 4 doing most of the games content it's a fast process to 30

Areekz! I finally hit 30, also I found that there is a cap for skills. For example, the sticky bomb caps at 250,000 damage... Which is what mine hits :P.
I'm still looking for better gear and a couple weapons with skills I want, but I've been destroying groups of agents as they extract with my sticky bomb and getting lots of dz funds and a lot of purple drops from it. I had a full stash after killing 2 group of 4 that stacked and extracted. The DZ is so empty that it's easy to get away with too!
We should play sometime, I have a really good Tech build that deals a massive amount of damage with Turret+Sticky bomb.
im not to bothered about the change in PC but they need to increase the purple/high end drop rate. Since the patch this morning me and my team spent 4 hours in the dz and only came out with around 3-4 purples each, even with a scavenging of 150% that's bad.

how do you feel about some of the daily missions, some of them give you no areas to run back to and the enemies just push and don't use cover. Also my friend had a good idea, would you like to see a restock (just ammo) at evacuation areas?
+Destiny hunter no restocks in the DZ plz, just run to a checkpoint to restock, easy as that
are u going to make videos about what dark vendors have each week so i dont have to run around for a hour trying to find out

+Dave Kilo Honestly, solo is it's own challenge, only one person putting out damage and only one person for the enemies to shoot at.
Even just having 1 friend to run with can be a huge help...been playing a character solo to level 23 so far (would be higher but also playing BDO) and it's a LOT more enjoyable when I can hop on the other characters and play with a friend or two x.x
HI Arekkz - would you plz make a short video on the weapon prefixes... Custom, Socom, First Wave and such... iam finding it hard to quite make out the "pecking order"...
first wave would simply be a weapon used by a first wave division agent I would assume
+Fool Izanagi The names don't matter typically, unless you're looking for specific attributes. IIRC SOCOM is the best of that weapon, unless it's a unique weapon like Damascus.

There should be a way to roll your normal credits into Phoenix credits. I'm level 30 so I'm sitting on a million normal credits with hardly anything to spend them on.
If your just looking for Phoenix credits just keep redoing the challenge daily over and over again you get 30 Phoenix credits and high end gear

The regular daily on hard mode, now the actual challenge that you need 4 people isnt, you can keep redoing it over and over again, I got a full set of high end gear from doing it this way

it was "easy" because of that op weapon. the Midas reduces the signature skill by 5% for every crit. it makes the bosses a piece of cake since you can activate it and do crap tons of damage
and therefore makeing the dark zone boss camps easy

I disagree lowering the drop rates affects DZ players that don't want to do daily missions, just make the bosses in DZ05 and 06 have higher drop rate
so people who did this because they were 30 quicker have now insane gear. I got 30 yesterday and I'm fucked compared to these guys, I love it.

+TrinityJoker TM Its litteraly all random... Just run the dark zone and buy high ends with phoenix credits, aswell as doing challenging missions because those will ALWAYS drop a high end weapon/equipment

TrinityJoker TM Every day, 3 missions from the main storyline, will become daily. 2 of those will be playable at hard, rewarding you with 15 phoenix credits, and 1 will become a challenge mission, these are incredibly hard. lvl 32 Elite's. (Also you have to be lvl 30 for these daily's) and if you complete the challenge mission, you get 50~ phoenix credits and a guaranteed high end
Have they changed the matter of DZ1 enemies dropping the same amounts of PCs as DZ6?
Tried doing DZ solo and got owned by rogue agents with OP gear. Imo there isn't a sufficient farming method.

+Ilya Rhys He does make a valid point though. The biggest source of P.Creds should be dailies, not the route seen here.
Besides, a lot of people are pissed about the update, so we'll probably see it get adjusted again soon. Maybe not to the level it was, but it'll be more than 1-3. I'd say 5-8 should be perfect.

Yes of course it should be but like most online games there are major unfair advantages when it is released to those who started the game at launch and get to abuse such things before the patches. That's always how it is with online games you gotta start at launch for that stuff. But most people could care less honestly. The game should be played how it was meant to. But it is the companies fault here.
This is a really stupid mistake too. Anyone with half a brain could tell that the token amounts weren't balanced. They must have quite dense staff.

He only touched the scratch, this is a loot based game like Diablo, getting full high end gear isn't the end but getting the stats that you want is.
+BananaBread that's true, it's a tough challenge withought high end gear, gearing up till April where the first incrusion comes is the end game for now.

Isn't it true that better (lvl31/32 items) drop in higher DZs only? Like, why would you be going to DZ6 if you can find all the good stuff on a quicker route in DZ1 or two. Cant find any info on this. thx

the only real difference is that there are more than just the rioters in the dark zone, I've seen plenty of other players all at one time, at one point on ps4 there were like 10 of us clearing out an extraction point
a run may make 7 to max 35 phoenix credits. a daily mission run gives certainly 30 phoenix credits and a yellow item. its both slow and shitty, making you spend alot of time with repetitive actions, turning you into a farming zombie
+Samuel Trajano The downside to Dailies is that, once completed. you have to wait 24 hours until you can get more. Thus this farming route removes the wait.

+Brandan Hadley Once you reach rank 30 in PvE, a Special Gear Vendor opens up in the Tech Wing. You can buy blue prints and gear with phoenix credits. The northern most DZ safehouse has a similar vendor. These two vendors offer the best gear, and they can only be purchased with PC

so is it weird that I am seeing DZ boxes at beta stomping area tgat require DZ level 30? I see so many of them I think I'll have plenty of keys to hope for superior gear by the time I'm at the level to even drop them.
the rank locked chests don't need keys, they are only locked by your rank...and they were only so low in the beta so that we could actually loot them

the game hasnt even been out a week yet and im already feeling like ive done everything... anyone else feel like that? Atm i mostly only do dz just cos u meet people and theres loads of bosses and enemies. But the daily missions are too easy. Challenge mode for daily can be easily ran in less than an hour and i dont even have a high end weapon yet.
What are phoenix credits for?
There is a special vendor u can unlock in the base which sells high end gear for them

Do u need to be Level 30 to collect the Phoenix credits? I'm level 22 and DZ rank 24 and I can't seem to gain any credits.
You have to be level 30
+Johnny2hands S they drop in the 30-30 bracket only as far as I know, only ones I have at 23 are from the uPlay reward.
The gear they get you is 30 locked anyhow. Though you can also get good high-ends through blueprints from challenge mode if I remember right....also lvl 30.
Proof off DZ 3 and up dropping better gear?...
Cus i just found only 1 legendary drop which was in DZ01.
And epics seem to drop twice as often in DZ01 / 02 than in higher DZ zones.
Why do I say this? since this game has been build whit multiplayer at its core and single player in mind.
They would have thinking about that to when making the DZ so DZ 01 / 02 is the solo game-play from the DZ.
the items that drop in dz 1/2 only have an item lvl of 30, items in higher zones can drop at item lvl 31 and are usually better

I think it's a high firearms skill. Like if I have high stamina I'll regen medic skills faster.
look at all that tactical team based gameplay. so much use over cover and positioning and use of the environment to gain an advantage instead of just running at enemies, sponging bullets, and firing blindly. Not that I'm not having fun with this game, but somehow it ended up shallower and bladder than anything I have played in a long time.
I should have saved side mission.. for level 30
