Do you have to use the computer ? Or can you access it straight from the game itself? I'm using a ps4.

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, however completing a non-daily challenge mode will always reward phoenix credits and a high-end item. You can do them multiple times and receive the rewards.
I Don't see a special Gear Vendor in the Base of Operations - Only an Advanced one.

Literally 20 minutes ago I was like "What is phoenix credits?"
Got 3 Phoenix Credits from a yellow bar in the DZ Zone 30 last night. To Be specific, you have a chance to get Phoenix credits off of named enemies in the DZ...It was 10-20 credits pre-nerf

I've also had Phoenix Credits drop from random high level elite named boss encounters that come from absolutely nowhere when outside of the dark zone. As far as I can tell there is no way to track these encounters though, and I've yet to test it with dark zone elite bosses. Hope that helps people earn them as I've gotten at least 50 off these random events so far in the space of a couple of hours roaming the map
so they are basically the equivalent of strange coins in Destiny.

Don't forget that mini-bosses (Armored, Yellow Health Bar) drop phoenix credits too.
an other option is to buy sealed caches on the vendors for 400000k. They give 13-24 phoenix credits per cache. If you need money go and collect and extract some gear and weapons in the dark zone. I've started with 150 phoenix credits, both about 70 caches (spended +-25-30mil) and ended up with 1500+ phoenix credits. Now i could but the exotic weapon i wanted in less then a half our. Very easy.
I have also received small handfuls of Phoenix credits, 2-3 so far, for killing named enemies in Midtown East.
if you're a UA-camr I understand why you'll rush pointless if you're not tho just rushing through the game kinda sucks the fun out of it
this is so true if you have no reason to rush just play the game and have fun don't rush like the streamers and UA-camrs no reason and and it also leaves people say ohhh there's nothing to do in this game as well

+kingdomheartsgod there is nothing to do, the encounters are repetitiv, the side missions are completely pointless when you want to max out your base in the beginning, you can finish the single player in around 30 hours from what I can tell. and that's some not enough for a mmo or rpg no wonder they are putting out dlc in april. the game doesn't have enough content and the map is also to small they gave us around 20% of NY and NY isn't really big to begin with

You also drop some on elites enemies and named enemies on the DZ or on missions. Once you are 30 obviously.

You can also get phx creds from killing named bosses in the DZ and roaming around the end game area on the pve map.

you can also farm pheonix credits in the high lvl DZ part as well, by killing named elites.
You can also get them from killing named enemies in the dz, about 8-12 on average.

I'm always dying in the division but I love the challenge.
grats on hitting 30 on day 2... well 3 for you, I need to play more but Im trying my best not to so my friends can catch up to me but it's hard for them for some reason.
They also drop in the Dark Zone from Named enemies.
You can do the challenge modes over and over again. I have run the Lincoln tunnel checkpoint about 5 times just in one sitting. We had a farm route set up so we could get in done in about 20 min and each time we got 30 credits from the mission 3 credits from the boss and 1 legendary item. I don't know if this this the case for other people or if its a bug just wanted to let you know.
By the way go to the rewards claim vendor in the base of operations you can collect 150 Phoenix credits for free
4 days later to see Phoenix Credit video, but you skipped the easiest way to get phoenix credits.
Phoenix credits will also drop from any named elite boss mob on any hard mission at a rate between 5-10 per kill. They will also drop from the named elite world bosses on the streets as well as the darkzone and you do not need to be level 30 to get phoenix credits from world bosses.
The UN final mission is probably the easiest way to gather phoenix credits since, unlike other missions, there are 2 named bosses you kill along the way for an easy 10-20 phoenix credits.
you can also farm named mobs in the dark zone. They drop 3 phoenix marks each. =)

They are basically vanguard marks or legendary marks for those who have played destiny
bosses (enemys with names) drop phenix credits aswell, so dont do daily missions, farm them in the dz!

You can also get them from regular named bosses in free Rome and dark zone
So long as you're level 30
+GENERALSPARTAN27 yeah, there's a ton of random bosses in Manhattan and DZ, but if you want more there's actually a route you can find online to go through all seven bosses in DZ01-03 and just from those you'll get anywhere between 14-28 Phoenix credits.

you can infact get high end drops. i got a high end drop from a named boss at a division tech site in the dark zone.
best way to farm PX credits si doing dark zone named elites :) is alot faster then doing missions.
You don't need to do daily missions for Phoenix credits the named bosses in the dark zone drop Phoenix credits as well got over a thousand from them in a couple of hours

+Arekkz Gaming I've been able to consistently farm Phoenix credits by doing challenge mode Lincoln tunnel over and over with the same character. You don't have to wait till reset

+Rich Porter if you want to Level quick, do dungeons / instances, idk what theyre called. and the side Missions, they give hella XP and reward you with blueprints. I went lvl 25 the first Day, skipping most of the base building Missions.
4 hours in, level 9, still regretting I bought it for my outdated PC and not PS4

***** I built it my self. Paid 550€. Just didn't get the best stuff. GTX750 and a I5 with 3,2ghz, 8gb ram.
***** You seem to forget about optimalisation. My PC performs crap in the game compared to the PS4 version. You argueing my PC should be better is useless since I know it isn't, becuase it's my PC.

thanks for the info, though I have to say (and not against you personally) I dont understand why people rush through to max level to get to end game as fast as possible. (i do sorta understand sorta) And I say that as someone who has been playing MMO's forever. Because in games like Destiny it is those people who always end up complaining "that there is nothing to do and how bored they are and why is it taking the devs so long to make new stuff", well maybe if you didnt rush you would not be. But each to there own, keep up the good videos!
+byghostlight0 different people do it for different reasons, but for me, in games like this, end game is where I get most of my enjoyment so I like to get there as quickly as possible :)

+Star Wars The Force Awakens:Episode VII Been 2 days and no one answered but yes, right now the best way to get phoenix credits is to repeat challenging difficulty misions over and over again on top of your dailies.

So you can earn them in the Dark Zone but when you do earn them how many do you usually earn while in the Dark Zone?

Not true , any enemy can drop purps. High end stuff -orange drops higher off of bosses but anything can drop it. A red enemy dropped a orange backpack today
the filter levels for the contaminated area and where can you find the equipment to enter them
You have to upgrade the medical wing, there's a couple that have a perk that will upgrade your filter level. I think quarintine and virus do that

I'm still not getting how to rank up from 30 to 31, 32, 33, etc. using the Phoenix credits. What's the trick?
And one more question (by the way +Arekks Gaming you have the best videos and information!!) I am playing by myself, and complete a bunch of side missions, and then I joing my friends group, if he completed side missions or encounters that I didnt, will I see them?
I am asking this because it seemed in the beta that my friend was not able to see a bunch of missions because i did them before him and he joined my group.

+Leandro Sanchez You should. Make sure you join the person that hasn't done the missions so it loads you into their session. Then even if you have finished those side missions you will be able to do them again with your friend that has not.

just to say when i go to vendor in church there is nothing to purchase with phoenix credits. so what's your answer for that
