- So there's a UA-cam channel known as guywithaboxforaface. A few things have popped up over the last couple of months that have made me investigate the channel and bring back a series I made back in October called mysterious UA-cam channels where I give a little review on a mysterious channel and let you all know what I think.

I think it's interesting that he only speaks in quotes. The words are not his own: they are appropriated from elsewhere, from other sources. You mentioned 'thinking outside the box,' and this is spot on: the box may represent himself, the constraints of his own mind and thoughts. The quotes are from 'outside the box;' drawing inspiration from the works and words of others to create his own interesting works. Part of his message could be to not shut out external sources of information and inspiration: think outside the box, but also accept other's thoughts and opinions from outside your box.

I'd like to say in all fairness everything we say is something someone else has already said. Same with music and art. Basically every artist has ripped off the guy that invented the first paintbrush. At least he has good taste in who he chose to borrow from

Showing your face throughout the entire video? Now that's what I call thinking outside the box.
Just a recommendation, I really liked the twenty one pilots theory lasts year. Lots of alternative rock bands have hidden meaning in the their videos. I do know you like current stuff, but I hope this could be an acception. Panic! At The Disco. Their videos can sometime be easy to catch on to, or overly confusing. And another recommendation, Doctor Who Series 5.

I like how you related guywithafoxforaface with Tapeface! Personally, he was one of my favourite acts because his... improvisation? And also his creativity with simple items.

So I originally saw this video when it first came out, but I'm rewatching it now and I wanted to thank you for introducing me to Tape Face. When I first saw this, I watched all of his AGT performances right after I finished this video and I had such a great time. He's awesome.
Watching this in the future and knowing that the police investigation video was part of seventybroads story, it's bizarre.

Interesting take on guywithaboxforaface. Also kinda cool that this is my first time seeing your channel and seeing myself on it (@2:47, I'm the first featured channel on his page). It doesn't take much to excite me, I suppose.
Anyway I enjoyed the video. I've supported guywithaboxforaface since right after he started. He features my channel is his recommendations. I've had a limited amount of interaction with him and I STILL have no idea exactly what his purpose (if any) is. I guess that's what is most intriguing about him. We have no idea what he is really doing.
I've heard a couple thoughts about who he was but I haven't agreed with any of them yet. I don't think he's Tape Face though. The only thing we really see on guywithaboxforaface is his eyes. His eyes have a very distinctive shape to them and don't look anything like Tape Face's. And I know Tape Face has makeup on his eyes, but still, it just looks really different.
More or less, I just think guywithaboxforaface is a guy who started a twitter account with a gimmick in which he could spread quotes he liked and developed a UA-cam channel off it. I am guessing he probably isn't anyone that we know, though.

It reminded me of this one creepy Cartoon Network ad back around 07-08 if I recall. But essentially it's these two guys that get their heads turned into CN Blocks they complement each other and then they start screaming about how they got block heads. Totally irrelevant but its just a memory.
Every expression, message and symbolism guywithaboxforace is giving us is coming from inside the box. But like anything that makes us think outside of the box, it comes to this due to information from "inside of the box" - said by someone, somewhere at sometime. Quotes are stuff that make us think outside of the box.

this is the same guy who is grown up from the kid in a video back in the 1980's when he was a child prodigy as a programming genius, he then grew up to become a lawyer. You can see his dad on youtube talk about how his son (aguywithaboxforaface) is a genius while he's programming something in real time in the background

I just realizied tape face did the same thing with the mittens as the red guy when he was performing with the puppets from the imaginary world
Here's my interpretation of Guywithaboxforaface: Maybe instead of being inspired by Boywithatapeonhisface, he copied him, just think about it, he uses all of these quotes from other people, not quotes that he made, AND the fact that he doesn't use many props or a backround or anything could mean that he's copying others and making it worse, without all the props and stuff.
They also could be the same person.
Although i do find this curious. Instead of copying he could be acting as a idetityless... thing.
He only uses other peoples quotes, he never shows anything around him, and he never shows himself. He could be thinking outside the box.
