I had mine out on September 15, 2021 and so far I haven't had complications. However, it hasn't been that long so we will see how I do after more time. 😊👍

@@Chicklets33 how did you do days after the surgery? And what did you eat? I just had mine out last Friday and so far I've been drinking fruits and green smoothies and organic ramen noodles. Sitting here starting electrolyte drink because my stools are still loose and my energy has been low, along with some nausea.

Wow! Thank you for sharing, and so sorry it took you so long to have some resolve! I can completely relate to you! My pain started at the end of 2017. I lived in my gastroenterologist’s office complaining of pain. After an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, my doctor was adamant I was just experiencing acid issues despite me complaining of the pain. I changed my diet, no coffee, alcohol, greasy/spicy foods, chocolate and took the Omeprazole, exercised, and it did not change. I lost 50 pounds from changed food and activity behaviors. I made an effort. I finally had enough and said I need you to run more tests, I emphasized how horrible the pain felt. Finally he ordered the ultrasound, and I indeed had gallstones. I am having my surgery in a month, so now I’m looking at videos to see what other have experienced. Looking forward to watching your other videos!

Oh no, such a long wait!
I hope everything goes well with your surgery and you get a quick recovery like me. Honestly, my doctor said that my stomach being acid had nothing to do with the gallbladder. But the truth is that I don't suffer from acid reflux anymore. Everything was resolved with the surgery. So I'm hoping your problems get resolved too. Good luck 🤞

I have the same story like you , my gastro said my stomach bloating and middle back pain which is hurting me the most are not from my gallstones, and stones almost full my gall bladder, he said go back your back pain doctor, Then I had four back injections, since then I couldn't walk , the pain management sent me 6 months PT, still pain . Now I have to visit surgeon getting more pain for getting rid of pain .

I had same problem. I went to NHS hospital first time in 2012 with pain but the doctors told me they could not see any stones. I keep having problems for years and the doctors keep telling me there are no stones. In 2019 I paid to see a private doctor and have more tests and they found i had lots of stones. I gave this information to NHS and they said the stones are not causing my symptoms. Then In March 2020 I had very bad pain for days and was admitted to hospital where they found I had a very bad gallbladder infection and my gallbladder was close to bursting. They told me my gallbladder must come out but because the infection was so bad it was too dangerous to do the operation. They gave me antibiotics and said after infection was gone they would take out the gallbladder. I went home and took the antibiotics but because it was March 2020 covid cancelled everything. I was again very ill in May and December. My surgery was booked for 18th January 2021 but now it has been cancelled again because of covid. I have been waiting 8 years and am still waiting.

@@AndreiaYT more lower back, it comes and goes, but when my pain is worse, I get it lower back and it kills. Years ago they said I had endometriosis and I had a total hysterectomy with ovaries removed. Two weeks after surgery the pain came back and I had my cervix removed. Thank god I had my son beforehand. Now, misdiagnosed for bloody years, Oh it’s my gallbladder. I have stones so happy to have it taken out. My sister had hers taken out 10 years ago because of stones. My PRIVATE gastroenterologist keeps saying oh I have IBS. Nope, had that 20 years ago when my parents divorced. The NHS is great and I’m lucky I’ve been NHS fast tracked. Sometimes private consultants are too quick to take your money. Sorry, I went on with TMI. Just to say. My IBS diagnosis is actually delayed stomach emptying and I’ve had to push for the right tests. Like you said. You know your body. Thanks for listening and big hugs 🤗 x
