I played the demo just this past weekend, and i made a huge underground mansion, placed a floor over the entrance so it just looked like a normal house when you walked in. Had to break the floor to enter below. But anyone walking in wouldnt know what they're standing on :D
The time limit for the demo is world save based, so you can go gather materials, fight the boss, and get more experience, then you can just reload back to your main save and carry over the materials and things in your characters inventory.
It is a great game and cant wait for the new demo out in next weeks Steam Fest. I love exploring these games for hidden areas. Found cool feature weekend, dig the rubble rocks you find. We found a underground dungeon to explore/loot :)

The crafting and harvesting reminds me of landmark. I really enjoyed that one. The combat is a bit similar to it as well.

That's right - the demo was out for Steam Next Fest - though they released it a little early. Can't wait for release!
Very pleasant voice! Game looks great. I've kind of become numb on crafting and big inventorys but some is ok. Gameplay needs to be great!
You can fast travel teleport when outside of the Enshrouded areas.
You can stack storage boxes.
The medium sized red barrels/jugs are explosive, it's best to shoot them when monsters are near them damaging the monsters when they explode. Sometimes the exploding barrels will reveal buried loot.
You can make doors and other stuff for the building at the work bench!

Tried this out and whilst I prefer Conans building system, this does have potential on the RPG side of things.

Looks like a fun enough game, but the character looks a bit stocky to me.... seems to have a hobbit-like body. I will try the demo eventually. I appreciate your guides, especially for Conan Exiles. I have started a new playthrough after about five or six years and so much has changed. It's nice to have up-to-date content and info available.

Watching the first ten minutes it pretty much looks like a PG13 Conan Exiles/Fall Out (mechanics: the fog from Far Harbour and Basecamp item) crossover. Could be fun. Lots of build design do look like Conan though. ;)

Watching this after patch day in Conan Exiles where about half of its player base was shut out of the game (single player as well) due to a bug that will probably never be resolved with some people due to their horrible customer service.
Enshrouded is looking pretty good.

I have been hoping for a big, modern good looking game to use voxel technology so I’m all over this like stink on a monkey!
Unfortunately I can’t quite afford a gaming PC right now so only have consoles and I’m assured I’ll be waiting at least 12 months for a chance to play this. BOO!
The characters all seem oddly child-like which I find I’m not liking at all but other than that it’s super pretty and fun looking.
What pc/laptop do you all have that can play this game?
It's not that well optimised yet. But it's just in its infancy. I use a 3060ti, for reference, but it won't need that. Plenty RAM is always useful for survival games
I have a 3050ti 😢 I so wanted to play this game, hope they lower the requirements.
You don't need a 3060ti, you'll be fine
It keeps saying graphic memory too small, I have tried everything and nothing. 😢. But I can play games like starfield with no problem

You could not build a wooden box because your building material was STONE, first select your BUILDING MATERIAL then choose what you want to build

Conan will have to be rebuilt in unreal 5, they have already refused to accept that fact, so it will die off in the archives of coulda, shoulda been. This game is basically a reboot of landmark everquest next that failed and died.
I'm not sure it's refuse to accept. It would take the higher ups to decide it was worth investing in many more years of the game. I have no idea how long the game will continue to be supported. Hopefully they change their minds

Conan Exiles has the sex appeal, the mods, and doesn't have DEI and current date crap in it. Male is male. Female is female. My character has a big ol castle with a harem of sexy female warriors and performers. 2023 can suck it. Nothing tops that risky business.🤣

The way I look at it, It is like Warcraft graphic. But in Conan and Valheim, Doesn't seem interesting. But where is fun in that anyway... Enshrouded, it is not online survival. so it is nothing better....

Game without pvp cant be better then Conan exiles.
It's actually a small percentage of players who play pvp, but I hear you. If that's what you're looking for, this probably won't have it

Enshrouded is a specifically Co-op game and as such does not have PvP other than if you start an open, non password protected game. If you do there is an extremely high chance that other players join your game with empty inventories, come to your base, grab every single thing that isn't nailed down (and even some that is nailed down) before just logging off to go drop all that stuff off in their own game world. And then possibly come back for the rest of your stuff...

The building is good , certainly better than return to moria, however, and a very big HOWEVER good god the character models are absolutely terrible, I look at 3D models all day and these are absolutly trash. Buy an anatomical reference book.

Enshrouded needs time to "catch up" =)
Valheim has a bunch of slow & sleepy dorks for devs and the graphics are just "meh".
Plus it's super grindy every time we have to replay the entire game again with new biomes when they release once in a year.

I want to see more No Man's Sky though, if you're busy playing that one.
Tencent being involved means it will get dropped once sales slow down. It's what happens to every Tencent game.
