In about two weeks from now, the fasting month of Ramadhan would be started and you would be very fortunate to experience the vast amount of Malay dishes at the daily Ramadhan markets spruched at almost every where. If you are still here by then, you’ll be glad to experience it.
Islam is the religion of the federation, but individual states have sovereign rights over religion such as in the case of Sabah and Sarawak whom are predominantly Christians/Catholics. The majority race are muslims however we are technically not an Islamic country as Islamic laws are only applicable to muslims and the highest courts legal system is based on British common law and supercedes Shariah law All other races and religion are also protected in our constitution.

In fact now there's little Tokyo and Seoul around ampang Road and ampang area. Doesn't meant everyone happy about that but have to realised impact of economic and geographical factors. For those who interested in more extreme and natural environment, just take flight to East Malaysia. There are highest peak, longest river, biggest cave, the biggest flower, also longest trail for jungle trekking.. even the most amazing waterfall far in the jungle. Its really an amazon vibes but in South East Asia. 😊👍
We loved visiting KL!! Our 3 young children (along with my husband and I) were recently in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands, Penang, and Langkawi)…and we are looking forward to returning!! thank you!
You guys did your research! Most travelers only visit the touristy locations but don't go to where the locals do. You guys are awesome! Hope you enjoy your stay in Malaysia!

Yeah that's what we read! We went to check it out at night, and it looked cool but we didn't eat there. We were happy with the market we visited in the video ❤️ I'm sure there are other awesome ones too!
But if you don't want to travel far, Jalan Alor is a good alternative although many( more than half) food outlets are operating by foreigners( non Malaysia).eg nasi lemak outlet operate by Indonesian lady.😊

Welcome to Malaysia guys.. Hope you are loving it after 50 hours of flying...btw, you are a lovely couple! There are so much to see in Malaysia even though Malaysia is a small country compare to US.. Come to my homestate in Pahang where you can enjoy the tea & strawberry in a cooler climate in Cameron Highway or visiting 130 million years rain forest in Taman Negara or the mistique Malaysia's biggest fresh water lake in Chini..btw, if Aimara walking alone, I would have spoken Malay to her.. She looks so like Malay girl.. :)

During my student day in US long time ago, it took me more than 2 days to fly from KL - Tokyo - LA - Denver - St Louis and to my University in Columbia Missouri..so I do really undertand the long hour journey...but it was worth it since I do enjoy study in US & US people are generally nice people too. FYI, the festive fasting month Ramadhan is less than 2 weeks away and than come Eid celebration..you can enjoy variaties of Malay food at Bazar Ramadhan all over the country & some of it you cannot find it in other month..and during Eid celebration, if you wear traditional Malay woman Baju Kurung dress, confirm you will blend very well with locals.. :) :)

Kudos on your travel vlog A & G, well done and editing/sound/info is very viewer-friendly. (loved the multi-facet shot of the Towers from Saloma Bridge, drone, and Traders Hotel) Astute choice too on KL as a first stop to the region, I always say it's a great gateway city into Asia. Not too extreme, not too confronting, just Goldilocks territory. Beautiful food, beautiful people (almost always good language understanding* in the major towns/cities). Multi-ethnic diversity makes it a perfect 'sampling' plate for first time travellers to the continent. Malaysia, truly Asia. * 7:20 notwithstanding🤫 Aimara's "Ay ay ay!" at 14:35 😂 NB. Thank you for not featuring the over-exposed Jalan Alor.

But I would like to suggest you guys to go to some other local places to go, if you are still here. Try to go to Denai Tiga Puteri in Kota Damansara. A hike up there will give you view of the suburbs with highways. Pretty nice. Another place maybe go to Bukit Gasing in PJ 👍🏻

There is another indoor (and outdoor) theme parks in Genting highlands just an hour from KL. one water theme park too un sunway lagoon just outskirt of KL

you guys got one thing wrong here in your video. the part where it shows pavilion mall, you put the location animation as Damansara Heights. thats a very different part in kl. the area where the pavilion mall is situated is in a place called BUKIT BINTANG. Hope u correct that in the future tho.

I live in Europe and in my birth town there is park where with the open pond where the fish is take off old skin from the feet. Yes, the skin get very soft after that and it is BEST FREE and natural 'cosmetics'

Astute choice too on KL as a first stop to the region, I always say it's a great gateway city into Asia. Not too extreme, not too confronting, just Goldilocks territory. Beautiful food, beautiful people (almost always good language understanding* in the major towns/cities). Multi-ethnic diversity makes it a perfect 'sampling' plate for first time travellers to the continent.

Try to go to Denai Tiga Puteri in Kota Damansara. A hike up there will give you view of the suburbs with highways. Pretty nice. Another place maybe go to Bukit Gasing in PJ 👍🏻

you guys got one thing wrong here in your video. the part where it shows pavilion mall, you put the location animation as Damansara Heights. thats a very different part in kl. the area where the pavilion mall is situated is in a place called BUKIT BINTANG. Hope u correct that in the future tho.

I live in Europe and in my birth town there is park where with the open pond where the fish is take off old skin from the feet. Yes, the skin get very soft after that and it is BEST FREE and natural 'cosmetics'
