Hello.. very informative video.. I want to know that, can we use the same jap mala to chant more than one mantra? e.g. If i can use a same jap mala to chant om namha shivay and Gayatri mantra.. pls Advice if do we need to use a separate mala for each mantra?? Pls guide.. Waiting for reply..
Naste Ashwin. Yes the same Japa Mala can be used for as many mantras as you want. I use only one japa mala for all my chants. I hope this information helps..
I just bought new mala beads since I'm a beginner. It doesn't have a tassel and has 110 beads instead of 108. The beads are sandalwood. There's a medallion with a lotus flower where the guru bead is supposed to be. Is it still OK to use these beads for meditation?
