Wow that was so well explained, can’t believe I was doing it so wrong. I want to get rid of ego and there I was moving the bead with the very index finger. Anyways thank u so much. I’m very new to this path. Also can u explain why do we not cross the guru bead? I have been doing that as well that’s why asking, It’s easier if I know why

I've been taught that mala is not supposed to touch your feet, is this correct? I see many people showing how to use mala in videos and most of them sit in lotus position with mala touching their feet. Could you please confirm whether my understanding is correct? Thank you & blessings to all

Mala should not touch the feet. Sometimes who use Gaumukhi , tend to let the Gaumukhi touch the feet accidentally. However this also must be avoided

@@laddu_tk_forever If the Malas are used for spiritual upliftment or moksha then you may. However if one is used for Spiritual Upliftment/Moksha and another for some Kamya Karma /Fulfillment of Desires/Bhoga then it is humbly suggested that you keep them separately in two different Goumukhis

@@darkfire1161 Never go over guru’s bead. Go ahead clock wise always towards you. Don’t touch the mala with index. Hold it between secon ,third and tumb.
