  • Video show and tell of the rocketry fin jig tool that I've made and been using for a long time. I've slightly changed the design lately and I'm selling a "short kit" version over on my tindie store. The kit gives you the hard to make parts and the rest you can add cheaply from a local hardware supplier.
    Check out the short kit for this and my other bits and bobs on my tindie store

    Nice little gadget that.
    Might have to put one together if I ever get around to rocketry, which I am of course massively interested in, but have zero time for.

      Wow, what a pleasure it’s been using this jig. I’m currently using it for a 3 stage Estes Comanche. I’m so happy with it I had to share.

      @@concretedog7427 do you happen to have the lengths on the rails and the bolts as well as the diameter of the bolts?

    • @concretedog7427
      @concretedog7427  3 місяці тому +1

      @@gregoryroth5527 so the bolts are M4 and 15mm in length (my angle plates are around 1mm thick). The threaded bars are M5 and around 18cm long, but there are no rules really. The angle plates on mine are around 35cm long.

    Looks good, I wonder about 3d printing the supports!

      Yeah I considered 3dprinting, but there's a lot to be said for mdf and steel all thread.. its solid and you can adjust it really square.
