I remember waiting a week for photos. I grew up in the 60's and 70's. The anticipation. The disappointment.
Lol🤣
Wow the internet really is a digital timeless playground.
🤣🤣🤣
K M 1-hour photo was indeed radical then. Those photo drop-off and pick-up booths 🙂. Remember? 😊
saving up to develop film lol♥️🙏🏽
"That camera was so dangerous it had a cape on it"😂😂😂
yeah...and it sounds like even the Avengers would be scared to go to Patterson, NJ LOL! Even Thanos would probably be scared of Patterson :P
I died with that one 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I almost fell out my chair laughing at that!😂
💀💀💀🤣🔥💯
This guy is hilarious! No cheap shots, nothing dirty, just good comedy - takes skill to pull that off.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Agreed 💯
I totally agree with you
They can't swear at the Dry Bar and they know it ahead of time.
He could totally get into acting and be an Amazing Entertainer. His Delivery and Expressions are impeccable 💯
I love it when I see a brotha doing his thing and not being overly aggressive with sex jokes or using the N-bomb as a metaphor. This guy has real talent.
It’s dry bar. It’s a clean show 😂
@Recently Communist Mama needs her phone back, now.
I don’t think his race matters. It’s all about life experience. Plus it’s dry bar in Utah so they have to be clean jokes.
@Recently Communist probably had a father???
@Recently Communist no she wouldn't. So how long have you been a comedian ? Do you have any videos ?
I used to complain about pictures of me until the day my Dad looked up from what he was doing and commented, "Well, dear, the camera only records what it sees". Vanity never had a chance in our house.
sounds like my dad
You were complaing about the way you looked.....forgetting that he was the mold.
Thats why he was pissed.
@Just Me your dad is a legend 🤣🤣
😂
Well told! 😂♥️
One time my husband and I
Took pictures and we didn’t
Put film in the camera
We laughed so hard!
🤣🤣🤣 I had the impression I was the only one.
Ohmigosh one of how many of us out there?
Public school? 😏🤭😅
He communicates so much with his eyes! Rolling with laughter!
How is this guy not super famous? He's not just funny, he's fun!
And handsome.
@@peekaboots01 Yes! And handsome!
Yes I say that to him all the time! Rodney is super nice too.
because famous people are not talented, they are rich and well connected.
I'm here asking myself the same question
I worked briefly as a photo developer at CVS. One hour photos. My god, the pressure i was under. Some people just stood there in front of me waiting for them.
The name was one hour photos....thats why they were waiting.
@@Nayo68 sure they can wait but not right there at the counter trying to look over it or ask every 5 mins if they're ready. I guess I should have said they stalked me.
😭😭😭
I truly miss the convenience of having photos developed in front of me. I love film opposed to digital but since cvs stopped developing film I've completely given up on my passion for photography because I'm so opposed to mailing my film to some random place to be developed.l
@@necrosim ...Well, good photographers dont send their rolls to a photomart, they develope their own photos!
You may consider photo development as an area of opportunity. My father liked to take artistic photos as a hobby and he took a small room in our house that was being used as a storage for mops, brooms etc, and tranformed it into a photography dark room. He had the trays, hangers, and the basic equipment for photos development (sorry, I dont know the names of the equipment). And he learned how to develop his own material.
Its just an idea
I appreciate so much that the jokes were clean and no profanity. He’s proving just how unnecessary it all is and that he can still be hilarious and just wonderfully entertaining. I agree with other comments of why has his career not sky rocketed?!?!
All of dry bar comedy is clean. And I love it. Clean comedy needs intelligence. Dirty jokes doesn’t need any effort.
that’s what dry bar comedy means
It's not about talent, it's about who you know, and what you are willing to do, to get to that level...
It's DRY comedy It's a different genre. He do hard comedy as well. All great comedians can do both.
@@munzersalih1582 All comedy takes skills to be great
Saw Rodney live last week, he was SO funny. Literally had me sobbing, I’m astounded he’s not more famous.
Also got the chance to talk to him after the show, super nice guy, very personable and humble.
He will be,he's REAL
"you had to drop your pictures off...and wait like a week!" RIGHT. I totally remember that. Wow...we actually waited for em... wow wow...how times have changed
I'm 29 & I remember them days, I stayed at Walmart and Walgreens picking up pictures with the negatives included in it😭😂
@@HipsxSoxReactionz I remember navigating my way around a DOS-only computer LOL! We were poor so at my house we were always at least a generation behind because at the time computers were too expensive so we relied on hand-me-down computers and printers.....and so this ugly monochrome DOS-only computer was our first one, along with a dot matrix printer that made a lot of noise when you printed...print anything on a dot matrix now and the noise will probably scare people thinking there's a banshee around LOL! After that we were still a generation behind with our second one which at least had a graphical user interface....this was our Windows 3.11 hand-me-down...I remember being happy to at least have an interface I could navigate with a mouse LOL!
Photo mat, remember?
I remember that, too. My sister actually worked in the photo section of Eckerd. It was her job to print people’s photos and hand them their negatives with them. 😂
@@adeltoral wow I’m 26 and I remember going to Eckerd’s ... now you don’t see them
There’s a difference between being a comedian and being funny. This guy is a funny comedian. He thoroughly enjoys telling jokes. It’s like a convo 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Well said. This guy is fun-ny
His dad was a comedian and his mom was funny
I hate it when people do this. What's the difference? You didn't explain it! I'm not trying to disagree, but I would like to know what the difference is
Hilarious, clever and telling true stories!!!!!
@@carlosdelgatito2039 Some comedians are funny, some are not. This guy is funny.
This dude genuinely cracked me up. VERY funny guy. I love the facial expressions he conjures up for his stories too.
Funny, clean jokes. Very refreshing. Jokes everyone can appreciate. He’s hilarious 😂.
"White people looking at the negative to see what they'd look like if they were black" killed me hahahah
I laughed wayyyy too hard at that!
Sounded like the audience fr did that 👀
I wanna be black.....a lot more fun.😊
"racism"
@@You_Eat no its called a joke
“Washington and Lincoln got me looking for an Underground Railroad” 🤣🤣🤣
This got me good 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I actually was alive when we took pictures with negatives.. and I am not even old. But listening to him narrate that world back to me still feels so surreal 😄
His "oh no!" slays me every time. Can't believe I've re-watched this so many times and still laugh out loud. Wish I could love it a million times more! Well done Rodney :)
Photo of thumb... that we had to pay for.... been there.
DJ F and spent the extra money for duplicates!
The good ole days 😂😢
"You never thought about anything? You never pondered nothing?" Omggg...that part was hilarious!
And then he said.. "I don't trust you" rofl
🤗
This dude is HILARIOUS!! One of the best comedians I've heard in a LONG time!
I agree. He is beyond funny 😂🤣
This dude is the man, plain and simple the definition of comedy.
I used to live in Plantation, I rolled out my bed hollering when he told that story. LMAO 🤣😂🤣 😂😂
“I got a double chin in that picture “
Him: you got a double chin in real life 😂😂
we watched the video
@@if9150 🤣🤣 Bro
and that was probably how he got his first black eye from a woman LOL :P
Joseph Amendolea lol. The black guy with the black eye.....sounds the same....
That killed me
I can't tell you how many times I watched this set...he is just flawless in his craft.
He got me dying. "Plantation to the boat!"
“you never pondered nothing?” I laughed way too hard at that. lol
New underwear for me. Lol
Dam!. Just got me.
That cracked me up
this made me laugh too!!
It caught me off guard 😂😂
I think this is the loudest laughter I've heard on Dry Bar. And not just once or twice, it's continuous. Great job!
True talent
@FIDIRONU I'm pretty visual so that's how I talk, but I fixed it =o) Thank you for pointing it out! If I'd have realized that's what I wrote it'd've messed with my head like writing on wrinkled paper. *cringe*
@FIDIRONU I have a couple in-laws who are grammar nazis as well. I had to try out a few multiple apostrophes before I found one they'd accept =o)
@FIDIRONU LOL. No worries, I enjoyed your comments :)
@: x Boomer? OK Consumer. Dank meme are you. Hmmm
Comedy needs to hurry up and showcase more of these talented newcomers. This entire show was hilarious! How have I not heard about him before today? Brilliant.
This guy's a comedy genius. I really hope he makes it big in life!
Netflix needs to sign this guy ASAP. Dude has mad talent.
He probably just didn't want to eat a baby to be famous
@Amy Fay
You eat babies all the time.. On your knees..

Agreed. Watching this in a Walmart lot while I'm waiting.
@Dennis Hardesty - Yeah he issss lol 😅🧡 and this is my 1st time seeing him, he's delightful and No Swear Words Necessary!! Also no political bias! I know I must sound so corny but this guy is refreshing lol 🙂⭐️🧡👍👍👍

This dude is genuinely funny. Every sentence is just naturally hilarious.
“You got problems with America? Leave for a couple days. You’ll be back.”😂⚰️😂
Yess
It's true your country is going through the worst stuff but you will always be our family. People will keep coming. just don't let it lead it's way to loud. Fire fights kill civilians en mass.
@Kai Evans Depends on where you go and how much money you got.
Right?! Lol that was AWESOME! 🤣🤣🤣
My US American co-workers all want to stay in my country as long as possible, especially those with children.because it is saver here and organic food is available everywhere at affordable prices.
"Plantation to the boat" cracked me. The whole set was great, but that one line made me burst out laughing.
I know he was going for the laugh, but as a Florida-all-my-life person, I know no boats in that area leave out of Plantation. They all leave out of either Fort Lauderdale or Miami. Still, Plantation ain’t that far from Fort Lauderdale, so he can get away with it - he can just claim he was staying in Plantation and leaving from Fort Lauderdale. That’s definitely believable. Either way, that whole part was hilarious!
@@adeltoral it is to make the joke work. Lived in FL for 15 years.
This guy is simply magical. It's a crazy world out there today and we can all use his kind of humor to soften the blow.
I will be 76 in a couple of weeks if make it. I have a roll of undeveloped black and white film in the freezer of photos I took in 1979 - 80 in San Diego, California when I lived there. I don't even know if San Diego is still there. I still have my 35 mm manual Pentax camera along with the multiple lens accessories. I never liked the long waits to develop film so I've been holding on to my roll until they improve the process. Thank you Rodney!
Went to go see him live in Las Vegas, it wasn't packed but everyone there was having a really good time and was laughing their butts off.
“Nah naH! You gotta earn THIS baby!”
Best line of the skit... lol
🏃🏾♂️Eww 😳
It's rare for me to laugh at every single joke that the crowd laughs at. This crowd, for a change, wasn't faking it.😂Brilliant set!!!
That treadmill joke went from creepy funny to funny funny af. WTf. I never would have thought he will end that joke with such a great line. That was so cool. talented.
Finally found a stand up comedy that has no vulgar words and obscenities. Goes to show we don't need those to make funny jokes, way to go!
This man has excellent timing
IMPECCABLE!
Yes he does!
As I sit hear pondering your comment... how I agree with it... if I will partake in the like or a comment to show the world I for one agree most!... I ended up liking the video, the post, and making a rambling comment as to add to the engagement to the video of a dude with more timing than old Ben.

I told the motor vehicle office my pictures always looked bad. The clerk replied, we do the best we can with what we have to work with. I had a good laugh.

Nothing wrong with cussing especially if it gets the message across, it is just words for fucks sake.

😮 Wow. I didn’t think he was right about that part 😅
The square bulb Flash my mom had on her camera. Totally blind you she takes a picture. Anybody remember the stupid bulb flashes? 🤣💎
The the last thing I saw back in 1985
That bulb would be so hot when you had to change it.
My dad worked as a professional photographer that still used a camera with "the cape", and required the photographer to use a hand held air bulb to open the shutter. He had to time the picture himself. And this was in 1963.
@Laura Wofford-Brown - Yesss lol and remember that squealing sound as it warmed up ?? That's very ancient n I was small but I remember. I also remember u could choose from colored photo's or black n white which were cheaper.
The bulb ... my dad use to lick the part that screws in .. idk what the reason was.
He's our new sinbad! Extremely funny without cussing! Awesome
Tony Baker and Kevonstage are also great clean comedians

New Jersey up in the house! Love this guy, he's the best. He def needs his own show on HBO! He's hysterical!
I felt comfortable listening to him throughout. I didn't steel myself nor sense any danger like he would say something inappropriate or 'not funny'. He was charming and it felt like a conversation with a friend.
What danger?
Something not right if that's how your going in.
Maybe comedy isn't for you if you're worried about getting your feelings hurt. Just because somethings is not funny for you doesn't mean it's not to others
This is the first time I ever heard this dude.....he is funny as hell! He is going places thats for sure!

My entire old white lady life, all my favorite comedians have been black men with edgy black humor and it’s fabulous‼️ Thank you‼️
Laughed through this entire set! Get this guy a special!
"my first time seeing a white dude who's never seen a black dude, I just stared back" lmao 😂😂
I know 🤣😂
I know..I was going into my apartment complex and some white blonde guy started staring at me like he seen a ghost...I was like dude what are you staring at? He looked like he'd seen a ghost. I googled my nextdoor neighbor and found out he went to an all white private catholic college. I really think that dude never seen a black dude up close and personal!
When I was enlisted in the US Coast Guard I was the only black guy on a small cg cutter (ship). I wasn't the toughest guy on that ship so I learned to hear things and not hear things. The ship was home ported in Eureka, California. There weren't many blacks up there either. Everyone treated me like one of the guys.
There was this one big crazy samoan guy who was very....choosing my words carefully, bigoted. He had some features that would lead you to believe he had some African ancestry. No one dare not tell him that. He had this white girlfriend that he lived with. They would go to local bars and someone would make the mistake & call him the N word. He was so big & strong that he would clear out the bar. The local police, the officers on the ship, they were all afraid of this guy. I was scared of him too. On more than one occasion he called me a dirty N word. I was caught in a dilemma. If I fought him he'd kill me. If I picked up a weapon and hurt or maimed him or even kill ed him, there was a good chance that I would end up in big trouble....wait a minute. I didn't want to go off on this racial tangent. The comedian is good. I'll finish this story some place else.
This gentleman made me laugh and laugh! His timing and wit is poetic. He didn't need any profanity to be amusing or accentuate his subject. Very enjoyable!
This guy is hilarious. His delivery is perfect.

It was a kid named Myles & I was laughing so hard that my husband came to check on me 🤣🤣🤣 very rarely does he hear a genuine laugh come from me- I'm usually crying over another missing/deceased child
Weird that ppl watch dry comedy and act shock that it'd clean lol ITS DRY COMEDY. One of my favorite genre of stand up. Like ppl didn't know that most comedians have to start off with dry comedy. It's a stepping stone... Most comics work 20 years before blowing up. He will make it. He is great.
Wow, he killed that performance!
"cause there was a policy in effect in my school called leave every kid behind'
