    I’m really not a folder guy but I love this bailout with the glass breaker. I always liked the look of the crooked river by Benchmade. Benchmade also makes this super operator close combat style knife with a ring at one end and short blade on the other. It’s just one piece of metal.
    Great video 👍

    ....when I bought mine it was $212. It's gone up in price recently. I have quite a few Benchmades and this one is my favorite. If you're thinking about it just get one

    Best money i ever spent on a knife, everything was way better than i expected! Talk about built quality. I have been inspecting this knife in my hand and in the woods and while fishing to find even the slightest flaw but i just cant find one, pricy yes! But worth every penny !!

    I’m steering clear of Benchmade until they layoff the Meth . Only reason I bought one recently is the tards at bass pro lost the sheath and box so it was discounted 40 % . Even then I still think I paid too much .

    Have one, why I hang onto it I can’t say because it has some cons that cause it to live in its box instead of my pocket. Factory sharpening job on the tanto tip is wide and asymmetrical. The handle seems too narrow to be comfortable and the glass breaker has caught on things including my hand.

    Had one, the OG green model, but never could warm up to the green. Just picked up the 03 black scaled version, and I couldn't be happier. This is the version I have been waiting on. Benchmade does their M4 correctly, and it is an awesome steel. I live near the coast, and with very little maintenance, I have no issue with corrosion.

    Awesome video! Bought this exact Bailout and also bought the original Bailout with the grivory scales which I swapped out for aluminum scales. Glad I bought it before the prices spiked and this is one of my on duty carry knives. The Bailout is light, concealable and love the tanto blade shape. Thanks for sharing! 👍

    Check out the $600 price on the new titanium version. It's still m4 steel so that means they're literally charging $330 for titanium scales you could pick up for under $100.

    • @paulb322
      @paulb322 Рік тому +2

      Yep - no doubt that titanium version is ridiculous . Some of their other knives are way out there with pricing , too - but at lease they give you something more - like Magnacut with the new Adamas . Thankfully I haven't seen too many of them ( titanium bailouts ) selling - so maybe the message will get back to Benchmade - maybe ... Getting back to the Bailout , I have one and use it just about everyday . So far - so good and the M4 is a quality steel . I paid a little less than $270 for mine , but anyone who argues that is too much $$ also - I can understand .

    Benchmade has always been my EDC go to. First the Griptilian for sentimental reasons, my dad got me in 2012 for my 16th birthday and lived in my truck until I lost it on the rogue river on a white water trip. Naturally the mini grip replaced it for a long time, now I’ve been running the Barrage for 2 years and looking for a slimmer longer bladed option. This is probably it!

    Nice video. First one I've ever watched of yours and i subscribed. My first Benchmade is the mini Adamas, and I love that knife, but I purchased it on sale lol. I think the brand is way over priced so I generally don't even consider them. I did buy a Super Freak to review on my channel and it had a bunch of QC issues. I was very disappointed in the first one, but the replacement knife was perfect.

    have a 940 and a mini bugout... usually never reach for any other knife. Mostly due to the pocketable size. I really like spyderco, like my para 2 and 3 or manix 2 but they fill up my entire pocket as they are thick af. Benchmades just disappear in my pocket, especially the mini bugout. Since 99% of the time I do not need a heavy duty knife to chop trees down with I am more than happy to carry the bugout or the 940 if I need somethi longer. Yes, they are waaay overpriced, but I have bought them second hand so... yeah.

    I'm the opposite, I'm hooked on Benchmade. I got like 5 Spyderco and I love them. But I don't want any more frn scales knives and I'm bored of flat G10 unless it's a premium steel like 15v and those sellout so fast. Then the really awesome Spyderco are $300-$500 anyway. With Benchmade I feel like they all look so different I just keep wanting to buy more. Spyderco is a better value for sure. Neither company is treating their magnacut to 64/65 which is annoying. But the super freek, green tagged out, and the green raghorn you gotta check out. Raghorn and tagged out are like freaking lazers. And Benchmade treats their m4 and cruwear between. 62 and 65 which is awesome. Maybe don't try Benchmade or you may be broke they are pricey.

    I have the Blue Grip and flat dark earth blade and the blade is really thin and has a very very slight twisted warp to the blade. Not really to thrilled with BM customer service at all and I blame the blade warp on it being incredibly to thin. I don’t have that issue with the Bugout . O Well….

    Benchmade and spyderco are great knives. I love my bailout its a bugout on steroids. Light and thin and strong great steel and their lifesharp warranty is best in the business. Price is subjective and if a $200+ knife is spendy dont look at CRK or hinderer or medford!....cheers!

    Ignore the naysayers. Save your nickels and dimes and purchase a Benchmade. If you have to have a tanto blade and aluminum scales this is THE KNIFE. If you can live with a drop point blade in S30 steel and high quality… but polymer scales take a look at the “Bugout”. The price is under $200. and the quality is there, too. Thin and lightweight.
