Also, as a public service announcement. When you pull the trap up and there is a snake in it, it is perfectly acceptable to scream like a 12-year-old girl.
What kind of string are you using for that first one at 0:55? I have the same traps and used rope but I feel like that's too thick. Is that a fishing line you're using?
Does anybody else seemed to come to the realization that silver traps work better than the black ones some reason I have no idea why they just seem to work better
There just nets. You put them in the water where the net sets on the bottom and when you go to check the just pull them up quick so the crawfish can’t swim off of them.
Need to try the canal off the expressway that leads to Bayou Segnette I guarantee you, you will knock the shit outta them Also they have a pond behind Alario center in Westwego. We got on they ass there too
On the they need aur to breath part they get their air from flowing the water with there swimerettes so you can leave your crawfish for 3 or more days in the trap please pin this so everyone can see
You realize crawlfish don't have to come up for air. Tell that crap to the one living in my fish tank who ain't been up for air in a month. Long as the water isn't stagnant
WRONG crawfish have gills just like crabs..lobsters and such they can stay underwater as long as they wish as long as the water is oxygenated they can stay without surfacing they do not need to come to the surface for air like a frog does

Not long. Between 5 10 minutes
@@PelicanBoneOutdoors I just checked in on my trap and a Turtle stole it I think lol
I’ve been trying to use a round trap from academy but something keeps taking my chicken legs out the trap
use cans of cat food
Hi, I built a trap and put it in my creek, what's a good tip?
Just try different baits and different spots till you find them.
Crawfish can live totally underwater, they don't have to come up for air.
How do you set up the triangle trap
There just nets. You put them in the water where the net sets on the bottom and when you go to check the just pull them up quick so the crawfish can’t swim off of them.
Thanks

Thats what I thought.
In low oxygen water they come up for air. If there's enough oxygen in the water for fish the crawl don't come up for water
Make sure ur flues is on the bottom.
I hear beef melt taste better than coon, possum and nutria but not as good as coyote
