Amazing group. Lead singer Sonny is one of the founders of the Christian movement called the Whosoevers. Basically, it's about "Whosoever" means EVERYBODY, regardless of who you are or what you've done, God loves you.

When this album first came out, it was THE album to get your hands on. POD took it to an all new level and put out an amazing album from start to finish. Not to take anything away from Nu metal, but the fact that POD could put out a start to finish phenomenal album while being nu metal makes it even that much more incredible….new to the Channel and not sure if you’ve done them yet, but Stryper!! “Soldiers under command”, “more than a man” are absolute bangers! First Christian merl band to go platinum and THE first music act ever to have two songs on MTV’s top 10 at the same time

Love this album
This reminds me of my days before renouncing my faith. Listening to POD, Blindside and the like. Prayer groups, mission trips and long conversations about faith. Although those moments helped shaped me you couldn’t pay me to go back.
I am glad you are getting (back?) to POD. Great band and rest have a good grasp on mixing rock, metal, rap, reggae, and a few other influences into great albums. They are also very religious and it comes through in a lot of their songs. This whole album was great.

POD was a great band. I think people dismissed them soon because they were Christian. A sad but meaningful, impactful and still relevant song you should check from them is “Youth of the Nation”. Loved the reaction
Agreed. I discovered them late, but still enjoyed all of their albums up to Testify. The ones after where hit and miss, but the other ones are close to my heart. Love them 'til this day.

Like how I said Judas Priests' '"Painkiller" is the quintessential heavy metal album, P.O.D.s' "Satellite" is the quintessential rap-rock album, in my opinion!!
