Great song. I really like POD but never heard this one. Great review. I hope you realise that's probably the most important part of you're channel, spreading love in a loveless world. I'm not a believer, but I'll say this for Christianity, it has the most eloquent explanation of how humans can be capable of such needless cruelty, but also of great kindness, compassion and beauty. This was such an uplifting hopeful song. Loved it

& exactly what Sori said right after the song is what I deal with on the daily and alone at that, I have pressure in my chest everyday from depression& anxiety. Its a different type of pain.. but still have to make a living so you continue to do what you gotta do.

My favorite song from them is “ Going in Blind” really helped me with my brothers suicide. For anyone who is going through something whatever it is please check that out.
Can't believe I never recommended P.O.D. before ,Them being Chritian Rock and All.You should check out their Song "Youth of a Nation" .But I will Recommend a couple other Christian Rock Bands.. Check out SKILLET "Feel Invincible" and/or an Old School Band STRYPER.

ROMANTICIDE would be the perfect song and opportunity for them to compare and contrast Tarja to Floor.
The high E or F6 (I'm not sure exactly which it is) that FLOOR added in alongside Marco at the end leaves me stupid every time because its SO impressive.
I love that she has added her own depth and sound to nearly every nightwish song and took it one step up.
I loved Romanticide and Come Cover Me as a favorite live of Tarja but I'll be damned if Floor didn't step in and make me question my loyalties for that one and steal it as her own too haha (is the woman even human?! Even in After Forever at age 17 her voice was incredible. And Even more powerful now since maturity and having a child )

Good,uplifting song. I dig it.We all need a little more of this in our lives. I think that's why I'm such a fan of Devin Townsend. He has the "metal" sound and aggression but he keeps it pretty light and fun.

Hi, Vin and Sori. Love your channel and reactions. This song is amazingly simple and beautiful and powerful. Sori, your reactions are spot on. I also love your look at the camera at 3:38. It means you've connected with the song and you want us to know how you feel. I've dealt with suicidal thoughts and depression but with help from friends, family and therapists, I've been able to drag myself out of that dark place. I had a friend who lost his job recently and he was in the same position I was in (not being "present", being in a dark bedroom, not talking, etc.) before I went to a psych hospital. Thankfully, meds and therapy have helped me a lot. So, I was able to share my darkness with him to give him light and positivity because of my past. I felt strong in that moment. Very beautiful song. Keep up the great work, guys. I know you guys probably have about 1,000 reactions to get to, but I definitely recommend checking out Andrew W.K.'s song "Never Let Down." You will not be disappointed!
vin and sori, hello from beautiful southern California. I am brand new to your channel as of 1/11/19, I discovered your channel this morning at 6:15am, and have to say I've binged listen through out my 11hr work day. I dont discuss my relationship with religion out in a public forum but I do have say I enjoy your take thoughts and commentary on heavy and hard rock. You guys have certainly peaked my interest with your personal relationship with Christianity and maybe one day I'll look in to your faith. P.O.D. has at least one song on each album with this kind of lyrical content, and IMO these story type songs are when Sonny is at his best.
They're heading out on tour, if they're coming near you guys go see them, been a fan for 20 years and they never disappoint. Also, I'm friends with them and they are the most genuine and humble dudes in the music world.

Sonny ( the lead singer) is part of a worship group with Brian Welch ( from Korn) called the Whosoevers. Their messages are beautiful. And another Christian band is Skillet..they are an incredible hard rock band.
There are also plenty of examples of genuine kindness (even though you could argue it's an evolutionary desire for social gratification)

You guys have GOT to check out Crack the Skye by Mastodon. Its off the same album as Oblivion and is lyrically their best song in my opinion, theyre extremely impactful. One warning is that it is very sad, especially at the end. Not to mention it is fucking amazing instrumentally!

You should check out "Portrait" by P.O.D. they were nominated for a grammy for best metal performance for that song and it's one of my favorites.

Glad you guys finally did a Christian band (well, not counting Thrice who isn't technically a Christian band - which is who I think you were referencing at the beginning of the video?). Next time I hope you pick a more lyrically complex Christian band like Silent Planet or mewithoutYou to break down and analyze, because as someone who's agnostic I tend to miss a lot of the religious references that those bands throw out, and there's so much meaning and amazing poetry packed into their songs (also they both just kick ass musically).
Silent Planet's "XX (City Grave)" and mewithoutYou's "Fox's Dream of the Log Flume" are great introductions to them (but the mwY song is off of an incredible concept album so it's a bit confusing taken out of context)
I think they've done 3...kinda...if I could THRICE, ... Becoming the Archetype, Oh Sleeper....
