This justifies perfectly why there are only 4 Weapon Skill slots instead of DD1's 6. We can see that many former Weapon Skills are now Core Skills, massively expanding the regular combat repertoire. Just the Core Skills alone give the Warrior WAY more options than he had in both Core Skills AND Weapon Skills combined in DD1. I also love that they fixed Warrior's core weakness of not having defensive options by giving him counters with super armor and Monster Hunter's Tackle. Now the Vocation truly works as the frontline tank Vocation it was always meant to be.
Thank you, finally some skill presentation video where it isnt just made up imaginery gibberish talking over the old gameplay reveals and theorizing about them....
Never was a huge Warrior fan in the first game but some of these will be fun to experiment with. Especially as the only melee character with three ranged pawns.
I never played Warrior in DD1 because of the lack of weapon skill slots. It looks like the changes they've made will help with that problem. Looking forward to giving it a shot when the game launches!
The animations all look stiffer and a lot less weighty than in DD1. That goes for all classes, even archers and mages, and even stuff like walking and running. I might just be too picky, but the combat doesn’t look nearly as satisfying as a result. It’s like they intentionally made everything less flashy.
Loving the content really helps me choose a vocation excited for the release especially since I loved the first dragons dogma fighting Damon killing gregori and playing my favorite vocation the ranger keep up the great content
warrior looks awesome, with the changes they’ve made to the skills system almost all of the vocations look better, fighter is the only one I’m a bit worried about, I loved having shield skills too. I’m definitely starting as thief, and maybe ill switch to warrior or mystic spearhand
Warrior is the only vocation getting a buff from 3 to 4 skills haha. I still hope he has "auto aim" upwards against enemies like harpies, as it's confirmed to be with fighter. Having to sacrifice one of the weapon skills just to attack up is highly meh. Anyways we're in the final stretch, just 10 days left!
I tried playing warrior in the first game but it was too slow for me. I like fast-paced combat. But now the new skills are quite interesting, and I will be playing all vocations!
Honestly, I think that base lmb moveset is rather strange. It looks like you should be tired really quickly by constantly having to stop all this weight. Also, Chain of Blows description is funny, befause you don't employ momentum whatsoever. You literally go to hard stop between strikes, there's no momentum left
@@philipguzman8162 I thought the same thing! But I think the pawns in this sequel could handle the trickster class. Frankly I think the trickster class should be Pawn exclusive.
Don't forget that with the Warfarer class trickster might be good when it's mixed with other classes. Imagine using trickster with sorcerer for example, even playing solo, being able to control enemies so they would stay away from you while switching to sorcerer to cast your abilities would most likely be really good, this is just the tip of the iceberg, I'm sure using Trickster in the warfarer class will have plenty of synergies.
no that is a terrible idea to cut them alot of people are excited for the trickster and warfarer just because you not happy with them doest mean everybody is you are being kinda rude

Everything you said is spot om bro, couldn't have put it any better myself.
Having 4 is actually an upgrade for warrior though.
Thank you for making this series. It's been great having everything compiled in one place.
No worries!
Looks like they've made warrior more viable this time around and I'm ALL for it.
I love that they brought over the greatsword tackle from Monster Hunter, into Dragon's Dogma 2.
Thank you, finally some skill presentation video where it isnt just made up imaginery gibberish talking over the old gameplay reveals and theorizing about them....
Stoked that you got some good info out of it :)
Thanks for the info, can't wait for this game to come out, been waiting for a decade now it's crazy.
I can see Warriors are eating well and going to the gym. lol
PROTEIN BABY!!!
way better than the first videos of the series you actually show the class gameplay and actual ingame description of the skills, pretty great!
I appreciate that!
Wow! All the move names! Very impressed! Really informative! Thank you!
No worries mate, glad you enjoyed!
Warrior was my first DD run and I'm glad to see that they improved on it for DD2.
Never was a huge Warrior fan in the first game but some of these will be fun to experiment with. Especially as the only melee character with three ranged pawns.
As a GS lover in MH i'm happy with what i see
Where are you finding these ingame skill descriptions?
finally the Gigachad vocation breakdown. thanks for all these info!
Lol.
I never played Warrior in DD1 because of the lack of weapon skill slots. It looks like the changes they've made will help with that problem. Looking forward to giving it a shot when the game launches!
The Guts cosplay will be legendary
Remember Arc Of Deliverance.....my all time favorite warrior skill, that thing was just beautiful 🥶
The F-ing Chad-a-Smash... Lol... Yeah I remember!
This is 100% gonna be my main class once i unlock it. I always love slow and heavy weapons.
Great video. Straight to the point!
Cheers prophet!
Yo loving how you went in depth. God tier game
Cheers waster!

Fantastic Breakdown thank you 🙏🏾
Warrior looks great! Adding all Ladder blade pawns xD
Really like seeing all the Monster Hunter Greatsword energy here.
Really can’t wait for this game to come out also realllllllllly hope I win
You're thorough with your info; nuch appreciated!
Cheers Mate. Hope the info helps.
Not the vocation I´ll be playing but still has some great skills. Thank you for another Video
:p
Loving the content really helps me choose a vocation excited for the release especially since I loved the first dragons dogma fighting Damon killing gregori and playing my favorite vocation the ranger keep up the great content
Cheers mate. Appreciate the encouraging words. Hope I get to play with your Pawn on release :)
Finally showing the only class that matters.
Wish I could play day 1, I'm itching to play this. So happy they overhauled warrior.
Let's gooooooo on that giveaway tho!
Warrior is what I was waiting for!
Goring Lunge, I can see how the name fits this skill.
Do they still have escape slash? That move was crucial when going through BBI.
Not that I've seen thus far...
Im so excited for Warrior i was waiting for this
warrior looks awesome, with the changes they’ve made to the skills system almost all of the vocations look better, fighter is the only one I’m a bit worried about, I loved having shield skills too. I’m definitely starting as thief, and maybe ill switch to warrior or mystic spearhand
God I can’t wait for this game.
Warrior is going to be my main, it was my favorite in the first game and i was so sad when i realized it was the worst one out of all of them by far
Lol... They've changed it allot... As far as I can see, for the better.
I want to play warfarer but man being straight heavy is always fun.
Can’t wait for the release!
In the first game I only use the warrior to unlock the augments, I think they fixed it in this game, so I'll give it a try.
Great breakdown.

I'm going to be having so much fun with goring lunge.
Impale this! Impale that! lol
If only we had a small demo so we could try all these vocations.
Most of those skill will if you keep on charging, see how far these monsters jump
I really hope they have the Arcs or equivalent in this one
As Mystic knight got replaced by Mystic spearhand i'm thinking in being a main warrior for my first character.
I was hoping they’d expand on heavy attacks from the first game
I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve only just learned about ladder launch! Was that in DD:DA?
I played fighter almost all the way thru DD1, not sure if I’ll use Warrior but it looks cool
A class where you sacrifice speed for power.
I tried playing warrior in the first game but it was too slow for me. I like fast-paced combat. But now the new skills are quite interesting, and I will be playing all vocations!
Maybe I'll make my pawn a warrior for that lunging skill. If I have DD.
At least every vocation can only get 1 switch weapon skill seems like. DD1 made warrior the least popular vocation ‘cause of this.
Keep up the good work
Big sword, big damage
All this flashy classes and theres comes warrior that will bonk you to death
Thanks
I’d love to have a free copy of Dragon’s Dogma 2 since I won’t be able to buy one myself.
Look at the size of these swords!
I hope arc of obliteration is still there was the most flashy attack. Also escape slash was replaced by barge?
Its a bit odd that one,bit surely these cant be all the vocatioms skills... Right?
Honestly, I think that base lmb moveset is rather strange. It looks like you should be tired really quickly by constantly having to stop all this weight.
Also, Chain of Blows description is funny, befause you don't employ momentum whatsoever. You literally go to hard stop between strikes, there's no momentum left
I want to try!
Very excited. 2 week's....
Counting the seconds...
I can feel the monster hunter influence on warrior gameplay
they better buff arc of obliteration more >:)
For sure should!
God I can't wait to Unga Bunga a dragon again but in 4k this time
Lol
Sick game
Guts play through incoming
Big sword go bonk
Warrior looks amazing. Ican't wait to play a lady with a big sword for the 157th time. Lol
There is no arc of obliteration?!? How can I one-shot dragons anymore? What is the new one-shot skill now?
There will be (I'm hoping/guessing) some more skills in the release version.
Warrior feels kinda slow, maybe he is the strongest one from all of the classes, but he is slow like mage. I dont like it too much.
I would like to win :c
THEY REMOVED ARK OF DELIVERANCE FROM WARRIOR SKILLS 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Im not happy about the Trickster and Warfarer classes. I say cut them and put in Monk and maybe Samurai.
Fr, or at least make trickster accessible to the pawns, tho I feel like that might be too advanced for their AI
@@philipguzman8162 I thought the same thing! But I think the pawns in this sequel could handle the trickster class. Frankly I think the trickster class should be Pawn exclusive.

I'm running straight for warfarer
no that is a terrible idea to cut them alot of people are excited for the trickster and warfarer just because you not happy with them doest mean everybody is you are being kinda rude
