I think GML lights are the best in the game right now , i have the tarantula 730 torch, and it's a great light , i really want to jump on that master 6 bloom red , ive heard its a beast of a flower light , where you at GML , we're missing the Saturday night show
Well it's not really something most people would run at full power. GML says the fixture CAN do it but realistically it's meant to be run at 700-800w of your tuned spectrum. But of course you can go higher if you want or do like you said and hang it high and blow it open if you can handle the heat of 1500w.
Yea true have stay wide open if got it hung high. And I hate doing that. Like I always buy bigger light for tent size so I can run at 60-70% try make light last longer. But like u said 5 year warranty even 60-70% less start loosening their mojo. Warranty that long u might be better off max this sucker out and it blows get new one under warranty. How much is your discount on these I actually posted on GML live yesterday about seeing this light on your channel telling them it’s straight 🔥
I'm torn between getting 2x borg evolutions or 2x voyagers for a 5 x 10 foot area in an sealed room. I'm having a hard time understanding why I would pay $300 more per evo fixture. Could you please give me some insight..
In your honestly opininion, wich model did you suggest? Borg or Borg Evolution? Beacuse the price difference is huge, and, for example, if the Borg is only 2/3% more efficient than evolution i thing the second one is the best choice. Thanks!
The Borg is if money is no object. No expense spared, all top of the line. The Borg Evo is a more sane version of the Borg in my opinion. Still has LM301H as the main diodes, still has the 60 spectrums with the controller, still has 4 channels. Both have similar output and the same warranty. If you are the kind of person that buys the top of the line and you have the means to, go with the Borg. If you're looking for bang for the buck go with the Evo in my opinion.

Hey I snapped shot the manual when u held it up for us. Justin u see this light has 6500k -9000k evo’s I’ve never seen a light with LEDs in that range. Do you know the reason on that or could you reach out to them what is reason for LEDs that high. They find it produce prettier better buds a lot lights right now are dropping the 5000k and going to 3000k-3500k mix on their website on none their lights they never show that. When I saw that I was like wow.
Hi, The Evo Mint diodes have range of 7000 to 12000k. We've made our cool white channel 9000k because it gives our fixture a higher diversity for making spectrums. We can go as low as 1800k on our warm white channel with 660nm added. This fixture can adapt to any spectrum out there and ones that haven't been tested yet. Cheers
J2G? It should work. I'll check with them. If you message them or call them and tell them my code you'll get it if it doesn't work online. It's still valid. Maybe not during their black friday sale though.
No more than any other light that would run at 800 watts. I did said several times that it's made to run at 700-800w at your tuned spectrum. The point is you can tune it to what you want to run not run it at full blast 1500w. If you can't cool 800w in a 5x5 you have bigger problems.
@@justinlinty Right? I'm always surprised by how much wattage they run and how cool the bars and driver box run compared to everything else I test. I know it's putting out the same heat as something as efficient but it does it more evenly it seems.
@@grandmasterlevel I was running it at 800w for the heat test and it tested lower than just about anything I've ever tested as far as surface temps go. Definitely thermally well protected.
I just mentioned that people might want to run it lower to save the fixture life. Nothing will "burn out" but more heat always will lessen the life of electronics. 700-800w is usually about what is needed for a 5x5. But with a 5 year warranty they have you covered even if you want to run it full blast. Not sure why you would though at 2400 PAR in the middle. You'd be more likely to bake some pot brownies in there than to grow some pot. 😂😂

UV is best done in bars not as part of a larger fixture because nobody who puts UV puts enough and the life of a UV diode is shorter than the others. That's why you don't see UV as often in high end lights.
@@Palokushpahahaha. People are a trip. You proved Justin's point btw. RayonLed does the same thing that MedicGrow does with their spectrum x. They are Uv and FarRed on supplemental boards. As in the bars only contain those two wavelengths. Don't be blind and much love 🤙🏻💯

You need to try a RayonLED light to compare. I think the top brands are GML and RayonLED.
Glad your back J we’ve been missing your reviews p.s Green Magic Gardening gave you a shout out the other day saying you had the best light reviews
That's awesome, thanks for letting me know!
trying to decide now... Which grandmaster did you decide to keep?
Congratulations on the nice light!!!

It's totally safe to run around full wattage,
