Oh bro,this man bred primal punch,I purchased a pack at empire his 1st drop..it was a beast of a lady,snow covered and of the 13 strains I grew last round,primal was/is my go to¹st. if you have access to a nugsmasher or press..the returns and product is stellar. You get a container w the nugsmasher,Designed to decarb your pressed material and make vape oil..I have like 25 primals ,unadulterated w no pg/vg,or added terps, so its thick..but so 👌

What would those PAR numbers be on a 1000 watt HPS?
This is what I want to make, the diablo qb648 costs 129 cad I called future electronics to inquire into the Euv-600Sxxxst just waiting on a call back. need to find a decent enough heatsink or aluminum plate to handle heat dispersion. Any recommendations?
The R does look like the old Honda type R's i used to see about. Think it's the white with red R that's doing it 😂 if i ever get around to upgrading from the knock off, i'll definitely be looking into a proper HLG board. would you ever need 2400 par???, im looking at a speicifc one of alibaba, they have their own patented reflectors, ill leave a link. the design is strips but its a 700 or 900w design, but the par readings that theyre showing is 1300@0.2M at full power....is that going to suffice or would i be better getting one of these

wow! do you know what is the par from a 250w HPS at 24"? from HLG that's what i have, i was just wondering, i have alot of grow light's to but no par meter, the best light i have is CLW 250 it's really nice. it really is better then the HPS, i also made 2 custom grow light's they do work to but the light has to be closer then a real grow light

@Murica Mfr 🇺🇸 my garden is 12’L x 5’ W 3 work perfectly and the overlap of the lights keep my numbers pretty center across the room.

Great video I just got this light myself. I’m wondering what would be the best height for seedlings and what power setting on the dimmer? Also I believe they changed the dimmer knob because all the new HLG 650rs have about ten clicks on the dimmer knob and not just one at the halfway point
32”-40” at lowest setting possible is probably fine and then move your light closer by a .25 inch every day until at 16”

Is the efficency on LED'S the same when dimmed?
So what temps do these lights run in your tent?
I have mine in a 2x4 gorilla grow and temps usually stay within 75 degrees on the lowest setting and a fan only circulating co2, I’ve seen 90ish on a hot day mid summer the plants kinda liked it though, right now colder nights I turn the knob to half way and put a fan directly on it for the heat sink and it stays cool, they get hot as fuck with no fan and turned up even a little so I keep mine on the lowest setting most of the time, keeps it cool and my plants love it, again it’s in a 2x4 tent

What AC would you rec on that size light /tent?
I wondered the same when I recently got a HLG 600R for my 4x4 tent, but it runs so cool I have to turn up the heat. I been a HID guy since '97 and these LEDS are all new to me. I find you want to up your temps in a LED grow closer to 85 to get the leaf surface temp up as the LEDS don't produce the heat a HID would. Been doing better since I raised temps from 78 to 85. I guess depending on your ambient temps and season but if your ambient temp is mid 70's in my opinion you don't need an AC. Expect between 8 and 12 degrees increase from outside ambient room temp at full power.

will the UV light be on the same light cycle as the light and at what stage of growth would you use the UV?
The last few weeks of flower for the full 12 hours of day. The UVA and B are harmful so the plants produce more trichome heads as a self protectant sunscreen. That translates to more flavanoids and cannabinoids (better taste, higher potency)

Man how u hook it up? The uva bar? Just orderd an got it but can't find any instructions on how too.
It’s easy, just take off 2 screws holding the driver on and screw the mounting brackets to that. Then push the bar into the brackets until it snaps into place.
Big tip, keep the light at least 30 inches away from canopy, unless u like crispy buds 😎🇦🇺✌️

The uv bar is advertised as uva. Confused because everything I've heard, read or seen says uvb is what you want..

I think the UV kit is through HLG only. You might email growershouse and ask them. Or call them. They're really helpful.
So if I have these about 2 ft off the top of my canopy and that's the highest I can go.... What percentage should I have my wattage at? How many clicks on the dial? 😭😭 I'm debating on turning at 7 clicks to the right and just leaving that all the way through flower.
Before I had a meter I would just crank it up more each day until I started to see issues then back it off.

If you set the dimmer to 50% will the par output be roughly 50% or does it scale differently? I'm trying to estimate my par levels without a meter.
I left mines on 50% but from 40 inches seedling. I'll find out in a few weeks 👍🏾

Get the app for that buddy! There’s a photon or lux light app that actually tells you par values from your phones front facing camera. If you follow the directions and put the paper ring around your phone to dissipate the light it’s pretty accurate

Over a pound in a 3×4 grow area with my old 550 rspec. So hell yeah. Amazing lights. And I bought into kind years ago. Yes they are good lights just over priced in my opinion and seem to use more energy than HLG oops got to go reset the breaker. Lol boost immune system and be safe. Pass it on
@Murica Mfr 🇺🇸 whatever I was there several times.But prefer Kind led XL 1000 more like 660 watts with co2 also strain matters. No little buds here. Well some that just got missed pruning. But easy. A lot of strains unless outside. Then one plant can yield 5 to 10 pounds. Think 13 was my largest yet. But I veg'd for a couple extra months. For clones. Happy growing.
For 2x4 I considering a growcraft x2 or x3 or a rapidled 3 puck diy or optic 4. Which do you suggest?
X3 has amazing coverage and should last longer because the diodes aren’t pushed as hard.

Justintime2grow is the x3 as good as a optic 4 or better, which will be a the best producer. The x3 can be placed really close and u can get those high par readings similar to a optic. It’s also price better then the optic 4. I’m trying to convince myself . I Been two month trying to figure it out.
I just build a homemade designed 450watt full spectrum LED light that should be running at 96% efficiency, on a 30"x 30" frame. I really wish I could have it tested to see what she is putting out.

There's no doubt that this Light is a beast ..
What was the watt draw at 50% power level. If it was 350 watts and at that par level you could dim the light down to 50% and have insane par levels saving a ton of money of electric. No sense in trying to run very high par levels if your not running CO2

@@stanbyme3414 it fills a space in the spectrum the light doesn’t provide. Anything you add on that gets you closer to the sun’s spectrum will help. That’s what plants crave. I run uv and far red bars in my main tent usually.

@Yes Im Going To Be That Guy - from my understanding the footprint is bigger than the SF 4000 that’s why it can do a 5 x 5 when the SF can only do a 4 x 4 but I’m going to go take some measurements now lol 👍😎

Just get a cheap "Fishing Scale" from Walmart. There like $15 for the digital and $5 for the analog. There made by Ozark Trail. Plus they can weigh up to 50 lbs!

Yes you can just turn it down to the lowest setting for seeds and make sure it's about 36" of the seedlings

It flowers a 5x5 so two would be a bit overkill. The 550 would do great. Unless you have the airflow and feeding the plants really well the 650r would be amazing. The 650r will veg a 6x6
