Thank you Gaby, for sharing all your insights! It's so easy to get swept away by all the different fashion systems and their guidlines and completely forget that they're actually just tools that can be used to figure out what personally feels right for you. This reminder to still listen to your own instincts and reclaim ownership of one's own personal style was very helpful. I love your approach and really enjoy listening to your podcast!

This has been a very timely listen for me. I've been on my style improvement journey for a few months now and feel pretty confident about my colour season, and have a good enough sense of my kibbe and essences. All the things I've learnt have reinforced what I already knew about what suited me but couldn't explain in words. I've been wondering lately whether I should crowdsource confirmations on my kibbe and essences but this has given me the confidence to trust my instincts!

Love your content! One suggestion/request regarding this pod cast format, slow down your speaking. You are fabulously enthusiastic, don't change that, just slow it down to listening speed. I want to take in all the info, it would be enhanced if I felt like I wasn't getting the rapid fire version. Is there a happy medium between Kermit drinking decaf tea and French girl just had two espresso shots? ~Much Love~ C

You know your own body and reflection better than anyone else . I was told by a group of strangers that Im a TR and by another group of strangers that I'm flamboyant gamine . These two i.ds are strongly different from one another . I found out that theoretically I'm SG but that I don't fit perfectly into that body i.d. i have very narrow , delicate and slightly sloped shoulders and maybe that why crew necks look restricted , a lines make me look imbalanced and boxy tops make me look wide and shorter. In Fact TR lines look the most harmonious on me, now i just go by accomodations and ignore the labels, body i.ds and descriptions of kibbie . Im short , narrow and soft and that is all i need to know , ive wasted so much money buying clothes for my "sg body i.d" that i obviously do not have its just the closest fit . Were all very different and cant all fit perfectly into 10 labels . And theres people who live for kibbie like a cult and treat you like you just commited treason 🤣🙃

    Great episode!!
Gaby, do you have a quadrant/archetype in Rita's system (from Style Thoughts by Rita)? I've been integrating my archetype in the "Romanticizing Your Life" process and it's a very useful and inspiring tool as well. If you know her system and if it's part of your style toolbox, i'd love to have your thoughts about it!
    Greetings from Brazil ♡

Love Brazil- my dad’s from there! I actually haven’t studied her system, so I don’t have it in my toolbox. But I’ve heard great things about her intuitive approach 👍🏻👍🏻
