The Ford Fiesta ST is powered by a 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol engine with three cylinders, one turbocharger and plenty of power - 197bhp, plus extra low-down power when the standard over-boost is engaged.0-62mph - 6.5 seconds and the car's top speed is 144mph.

What are your thoughts about Ford removing the Fiesta from their family? Are you excited to see what comes next?
Big mistake dropping the fiesta & the focus in 2025,the ford range will soon consist of bland boring hybrid/ev suv's looks like my mk8 fiesta st is going to be a keeper
I can understand your comparative price comments, but the Fiesta ST has one important factor over those other cars - it is pure fun. One of the few cars that put a smile on my face while driving
I prefer the SYNC3 system in Night Mode. Fits the interior far better and it's still bright enough even with sun shining on it.
nilzr1 mine is always on night mode, way too bright and ugly in day mode

Intro is fantastic, allmost like 80' action movie... Car is briliant..
Slickly conveyed details, brilliant edit, sharp use of J cuts & colour transitions, but most of all HR those great new shades 😎
I just traded up from a fiesta mk7st2 to a mk8 st3 and I bloody love it:) all the fun with more power and better interior
Without the Limited slip diff... this car is just a Fiesta ST MK VII .... with some nice optional extra's.
As far as the fun driving experience goes, absolutely get the LSD.
The highway fuel consumption is worse than the MK VII but the City cycle is better.
It's a great car, and you won't be disappointed buying one... the 2020 Focus ST is so much more "grown up" though... better in all ways, which is the way it should be.
SYNC 3 is brilliant... big disagree with you on that one.
If you want to be an old man get a M140I ... if you want to be boring get a Golf R... both good cars, but they don't have the raw fun of the Ford Hot Hatch range.

One thing most people who hasn't driven a hot hatch like this wouldn't understand whatever you read and hear about these type of cars until you have driven it like I did now all these reviews videos make sense

Bought mine about 10 month ago. Still in love 😍😊 in Germany Cooper s is about 5000€ more than the Fiesta ST3

Only thing I'd mention is that my daily mpg round urban roads some B roads is never anymore than 33mpg, motorways only ever got close to 42mpg

What is the annual milage limit on that finance? Probably about 7000.
I was going to get the new model as Ford was going to bring both the two door & the 5 door here to the US, but unfortunately Ford pulled the plug on all car sales in the US with the exception of the Mustang, I currently have a 2014 Fiesta ST and love it, it’s on a stage 2 Pro Tune witch really woke it up, I have a short shift kit motor mount 3 inch exhaust bigger intake bigger intercooler and a Cobb access port with sticky Mitchlen tires, it will be my last car, as I’m 72 years young and have had many cars and motorcycles, by this is the most fun I ever had behind the wheel.

The suspension is auto-adjustable.
how do you people get such low insurance? i pay 600 a year for a 90 hp civic from 2002!
BMW M140i and Golf R are both twice the price of this in Denmark. Just ordered the Fiesta MK8 ST2 with the LSD and wheels off the ST3. From 09.2018 with 11k on it. for the whopping price of 30k GBP. That's Danish tax for you.
The monthly lease is more than polos and minis because after 3 years lease the fiesta is worth 50p
Trade in with Ford.....you're not far off.
"Real world 46 mpg".... that is better than what Ford says it will do. The best I have *ever* seen my mk8 ST do is 36mpg and when a tiny bit of spirited driving I get close to 23 mpg
What?! I manage 43 easily on my daily drive and about 33 in sport driving spiritedly

No doubt it was a remark to get people commenting, but you would prefer a Fiesta ST to a Focus RS, not sure how many people would agree with that, and yes I do own an RS, so yes I am biased. Although I have test drove a Fiesta ST and will agree it is a great car, but comparable to an RS?
I don't think he's comparing it to a Focus RS, just that he prefers it. The RS is obviously a step up in performance but sometimes you can have just as much fun in smaller, livelier, less stable 2wd cars.
I'm on the verge of choosing a new ST over a Yaris GR.. and I know that sounds crazy but fir me the GR is just a bit too planted to have fun in without losing your licence.
It's a fantastic little car, brilliant fun at speeds you won't have to hand your licence over for.
To even mention it in the same breath as a Golf R, or an M140i is ridiculous.
I chose an M140i although I did look at a Fiesta ST.
The M140i had better tech, better interior, much MUCH faster, and was actually more fun, due to RWD.
One cheeky remap later and I am in something which troubles RS3's and A45's.
The bmw is at least double the price though. You compare apples to oranges. For its money, the ST offers you A LOT !

I had the comparison of a 2 & a half year old M140i, or a brand new Fiesta ST.

Ford are cheapest because they don't change all service parts that they are supposed to. Lying thieving company, I'll never own another Ford!

As I write, 11 down votes. Obvious they are the type who knock things without trying them added to the fact their "driving skills" will be limited. Quite simply it's a great car to drive.
RugbyLeagueisbest no one is debating that and I’m sure the fiesta ST is absolutely brilliant to drive but your comparing a mini hothatch to a premium hothatch. No contest. Golf R is 4.6 seconds to 60 the fiesta ST 6.5 interior quality is not on a golf R level etc ect
i think that golf r is better cause have 300 force horses and the ford only 200,but the ford is more beauty and more cheap

I have a ‘16 FiST, and although I like the looks better, this car is more similar to the RS and higher quality all the way around. So I’m mad at Ford in other words. Why doesn’t the home country get the nice cars Ford? Why?
Because Ford can't sell them in great enough numbers to justify having them for sale. IOW's - in the U.S. customers want big 'ole pick-em-up trucks and SUV's. Not hatchbacks and not sedans. Not enough. Ford wants to just manufacture what they can turn around and sell. I like this little car - I've read so many great reports on the car by now to believe them.
