James and Lars were there so was Slash, Sean from White Zombie and Kerry King serving drinks at one of the bars also some of the guys from Iron Maiden and Vanessa Warwick (The interviewer). It took me years of growing up to appreciate how fine, daring and awesome Load and Reload are ! The kid in me wanted every Metallica or Slayer album to sound like Reign in blood and Master of Puppets, but the grown up man started to love and enjoy Load and Diabolus in Musica like a fine cigar and wine, they aren't for little immature minded kids !
Load and Reload were great.. if u cannot appreciate good rock and roll thats ur problem.. music is made to be listen no matter what gender is it.. metallica played trash metal in the 80s end of the story, I used to listen to trash metal every day for years until my ears got tired of it so obviously it was tired for them too.. and wanted to explore other kinds of music. Until sleeps ,2x4,hero of the day, King nothing, Devils dance, Memory Remains, Unforgiven 2, Fuel, Bad Seed, aint my bitch, just to name so songs from that era.. I mean come on that was the best Metallica moment

James started losing his "voice" in 1993 (you can actually find videos on UA-cam where his voice cracks a little while performing, and he starts singing clean on a lot of the songs). I guarantee it was due to all the touring they were doing, and he never gave his voice a rest.
