@@kimberlylabrec246 Sorry if I jumped to conclusions. There are a lot of "Paul is dead" conspirators commenting on this clip. When he says, "Billy," he meant to say, "Bobby" as in Bobby Slayton, a comedian about whom we were making a movie for which we conducted this interview.
@Metal Mayhem it's a good question. I just watched it again. I can kind of see why everyone is so suspicious from this video. Bobby has nothing to do with this clip. ReelChangeFilms But you have to admit that it is odd that he seemingly refers to Paul as Billy, the name that for 50 years has been believed to belong to the replacement. This isn’t the only piece of film where people call him Billy or William. George Harrison, Olivia Harrison and Denny Laine have all done so as well. Didn’t you react to the slip when recording this? Or did you take for granted that he meant Bobby Slayton who had nothing to do with this particular subject?
Coming back to this video, I’m convinced that he’s just misnaming Bobby. He’s saying “I think with Billy...” (obviously losing track), interrupts himself by finishing his point about Paul, then restarts with “it would be the same thing with Slayton”, once again trying to connect the points but this time through last name since he knows he confused the first name, before finally ending up getting the first name right. If Paul was merely a lookalike, a person who only met him once wouldn’t be on first name basis with the lookalike’s original name from way back when.
Except it's obvious that he makes the distinction between the two, hence when he said "I think with Billy, people like it when you take one of his obscure songs from an obscure album....." which is clearly talking about Paul, then shifts the subject to Bobby with the comparison
