I’m glad to here your classical music is back 👍
Its a tank, epic battel music would be better.
Andy is the Bob Ross of Models. You cannot change my mind.
That was the plan
Seeing a tiny Panzer 1 looking so huuge is really fun.
Gidday Andy from Australia! I just got the 'regular' panzer 1B model without the 'catapult'. I'm just gonna paint mine a bluish grey instead.
This is my first 1/16 tank model. I've started working on the tracks first. The track links are very good, so much so that I'm gonna leave them 'workable'.
Others have said the track pins break easily, so I bought some 0.7mm diameter brass plated steel 'head pins' from the local $2 'bits n pieces & craft shop. Enough pins for the whole tank plus plenty of spares cost me only 9 bucks.
I cut off the heads of the kit track pins & glued them on the outside of the track links, as 'caps'. Then I cut & filed the ends of the steel pins to just under 16mm length. I'm awaiting delivery next week for a punch & die set to make 1.6mm caps for the inside ends of the track link pins, to stop them falling out.
I reckon the tracks are gonna be quite sturdy, & work well with the rotatable wheels & sprockets. I've only done one side with the steel track pins so far. It's a VERY tedious process phew! - But it's working out very well so far! In fact the pins fall out of the links under gravity, so I have to keep the track with the open end uppermost until I can glue the little punched inner caps on!
I've seen ebay adds for 1/16 tanl track pins for $168!
I go to you store a lot recently, getting ships and paints. I just found this video in my reccomended, didnt know you had a youtube. Thats really cool
Thank you Andy for another excellent video. I really like your videos as they are all "out of the box" built, no complicated and hard to handle aftermarket parts, no "rivets counting", .... Just built, paint and enjoy. Just that simple!
That is also what i appreciate. Most Chanels shows a lot of complicatied stuff. I keep coming back to this Chanel. Everyone Will hoe the feelings they could make a scala model. Great job!
since I started watching your channel I've noticed more people using " let's get started " as an introduction
Panzer I with bird house in the back :)
For carrier pigeons, in case the radio malfunctions. 🤥
I would like a 1/16, full interior, cutaway or clear hull/turret M4 Sherman to be produced. 🤞
I'm glad that Andy's business is doing well. Maybe we'll start to see some expansion with franchises.
that will be more then 2000 pieces
I have only one word Andy,.........AWESOME !!! great video, great Kit ! outstanding modelling ! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Good to see and hear from you Andy
I was going through withdraws from lack of your vids
Lol
Cool stuff Andy!!!!
I`m with Don on this. I think I`ve developed an addiction as I`m checking for new vids weekly. But I should imagine Andy is a very busy guy at the moment sorting out the new warehouse. LOL.
Hi Andy .. I just finished the regular B version ..I did notice you have the front mantlet on upside down .. also check your parts .. you are missing the springs for the rear fenders and also the two pins that hold the tow cables on the front of the vehicle. Thanks again for a great video .. they are always upbeat and inspirational
One of the smaller IRL 1/16 will probably be my first go at the scale.
Great to have you back!
I’ve been buying a lot from you , your selection is super
Thanks again
Jesus
Wow, thank you
Awesome build!
You may want to re-edit as you managed to put in two segments with the NATO black chipping sponge. Gave me a bit of a Groundhog Day moment😂. Still a great tutorial and education for anyone not familiar with Strauss❤️
Great to hear from you again Andy yet again you have given us a very informative video and a great build Steve 🇬🇧
Thanks Andy. Once again you make it look so easy.
Looks like a nice kit Andy.........
Great build!!!!! 👍👍👍
Your videos are always great and in 4k now... Thank you
Great model
I've built a few of these kits and I find it much easier to put the front drive sprocket in the front housing extension, press the cap onto the axle on the wheel and take out all the slack then glue the cap from the backside. Then glue the whole assembly to the hull. Greatly reduces the risk of gluing the wheel solid and takes up any slop in the wheel. Great video. My kit just arrived from you last week.
On the first look it looks like a commander version equipped with a box for messenger pigeons. :-)
And responding to your question, yes Abwurfvorrichtung auf Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf.B was put into the production (about 100 of them were actually built) and yes they were used in combat, both on Western Front and also at the beginning of Operation Barbarossa.
Super build Andy, love to see a ton more videos.
very nice job
Thank you Andy's back! missed ya 😜
Great to see you back Andy, thanks for posting and sharing
Great build and weathering Andy.
15:26
track tension!
*some happy Chieftain noises*
This is 1/16 but the Hull is thesame size as my maus in 1/35 scale i made a few months ago so it is crayzy
Nice! Being a pedant that aerial looks a bit chunky for mine. Electric guitar strings are my go to now for aerials. Can get nice thin gauges and they flex like a real aerial.
Fantastico me lo regalerò di sicuro
Looks like this will be a great video. Keep up the good work Andy.
As always man Andy is nice
Thanks, will do!
Thsank you!
Great to see you back been missing you these last weeks! Love your enthusiasm as always.
Just got mine I bought from your online store last week. Thanks for the build video.
Pretty Darn Spiffy There Buddy, thanks for Sharing n God Bless All.
Outstanding video and presentation.
Hi Andy, that is another Masterpiece from you, I am like one or two others, I get 'Andy' withdrawal, hope all is well with you and your family and customers , best regards from Australia
Many thanks
I cannot build anything this big cause I don't have a place to put it on... 😢 Nice build again, Andy! 👍👌😉
just got my tiger 1 thanks Andy.
Nice kit I got the Spanish one to do in this scale from mig from the Spanish war well done Andy 😄
Great work beautiful model 👍
Lovely kit and nice bit of weathering. I always have problems trying to make my tanks look dusty
Yes another video. Thanks Andy.
Hey Andy, those German panzer track return roller were rubber, early in the war.
Im building the 1/16 Wiesel right now, its the first set of built tracks Ive actually enjoyed.
Nice video can’t wait for a another one:)
Nicely done.
Fresh
Now that is a nice kit! sweet build
Nice work!
Looks great!
agreed, 1/16 is nice to work on
Oooh yes ... another great video !!!
I love this nice kits too
Conflicting sources - one says only a prototype; however Doyle and Chamberlain book says that devise was mounted on 10 Pzkpfw 1 Ausf B on the 3 Pz Pionere KP=p of each Pioneer Battalion in the Pz Div
Just to tell you that yes it was used in the Spanish Civil War. For the name Panzerkampfwagen I (German for "armored fighting vehicle mark I"), abbreviated as PzKpfw I.
i just built that kit its great did not add the boom in the back no room for it but i did build it
Like that one noticed you got tracks correct way to the dak one at start!
NICE ONE BUT CANT SAY IT S BEEN SEEN ON ANYTHING I'VE WATCNHED WILL LOOK INTO THIS CHEERS , CANT WAIT FOR THE STORE ROOM .
A fantastic video and build as always! I need to get this but where to put it. My stash is getting out of hand, well at least according to the Mrs. LOL!!
I didn't read all comments...
but i think this strange thing on the back work's just like a ancient roman onager.
A machine who did throw stones to the enemies.
But this one did throw explovsives.
I love your vids you are the. Best
Thank you!
i didnt know theres this type of variant.. its probs not used or just prototype similiar to other mine related vehicles
Great ~~
As always
Hi Andy great video, it appears to be that the gunmantlet of the machine guns is upside down. I hope there is a way to fix it
One of the hinges on the turret hatch is glued in wrong position
I do have a question Andy, is it possible to do a model of the same quality that you show us here without painting it with an airbrush? Using paintbrush only.
nice!
great video Andy, question for you, when I was a more prolific armour modeller, mostly post wwII, i tended to paint and weather to a certain level, the lower hull upon completion, this helped greatly with those tanks with skirts....is this something you've thought about? It won't work with all, but certainly, where a kit is so designed as to have a distinct upper and lower hull build, it allows easier and fuller access to the running gear, lower hull sides and tracks.
Backing up against a bunker withe explosives rather than frontally?
Is that soldiering?
A holder for glue in the background. Something I probably don't need but will buy anyways.
Beautiful build! Makes me want to try a bigger kit other than 1/35 but I think it'll just magnify my mistakes.
I'm sure you've been busily working on the warehouse empire. Welcome back.
Reversing to drop the explosives actually makes sense as the tank would usually go forward quite a bit faster, making it easier to escape the blast.
Not French or Italian tanks two forward five reverse gears
Takom. 1 16. Panzer. I b Complete build panting
Hmmm... Looks kinda... Petarded? ;D I love it.
Too bad Takom doesn't offer Metal Tracks, Wheels, etc. for their tanks, because metal chassis would add a more realistic look to them than just being a display model or if one wants to transform the Pz I into a working RC and play with it outdoors like other 1/16 RC Tanks.
Just got it, cant way to build it. You might want to make paint packages for your kits.
Where'd you get that cool Glue Holder? Did you make a video talking about it?
I would like to ask what kind of glue you using?
I always use same glue for my models, but the one you use seems so much better, doesn't destroy plastic at all, not sure if it smells or not, but does look really good and would love to give it a try but can't find anything similar. Thank you
Interesting model. What turntable do you have?
The part where the machine guns are mounted is badly mounted, it is just upside down
Mr Engineer, we need something to carry two M13 machine guns as a training Tank, Mr Engineer : Hold my Beer 🍺 👉🏻 6 Ton later ….Panzer 1 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Super Model 👌🏻😎
Another awesome build!
How did you bend that PE over the muffler? It looks very round like the real one
Do you have any other build videos planned
Wish Tamiya would start making interior kits, I heard that China got Japanese model kit designers to set things up for them!!
It was used. About 200 was build.
What type of paintbrush are you using to do the chipping?
Did you realise you fitted the gun mantlet upside down?
That's a great looking kit by Takom. What kit do you recommend for the Pz.Kpfw.1 at 1/32 scale?
been watching your channel for 1 month I'm gonna subscribe. and I have a question andy is the panther type g late good for beginners? because I was planning to get one.
Where did you get the tweezers that you use in this video?
Hi Andy, I just started building models awhile ago and would like to know what are the best brands you recommend to buy?
Has montado el glacis al revés..... Jejeje....
neither of your links to FB page or Patreon work, get dreaded 404 error
BIG BOI
Where have you been I was getting woried
hey andy has the shipping started back up yet? thanks
yes it has.
Great content, but way too many ads.......
Do you have the Tamiya glue holder on your site?
@Svannuta I don’t think so. It looks like it’s made out of aluminum.
30:40 this is duplicated
Guns are upside down. Probably also the reason why the front panel of the turret doesn’t fit.
