Cheers Andy, watching your vids, builds, painting is always fun, no matter the subject.
I am disabled veteran, single father of 2.
Been in a bit of a model funk.
Injuries, and other stuff dragging me down.
But your vids are inspirational, Andy
I apperciate them.
Fan of the 1/35th though .
But look forward to your vids always .
Thanks again Andy .
Apperciate your videos
👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
Love how you're going along with the 1/16 armour series. All the small tanks become big, it's great
Hello Andy I really enjoy your videos. I also appreciate how you research and found out about the history of these vehicles.
That figure looks like it could jump off the tank and shake your hand! He looks so alive! (the tank looks great too! :)
These 1:16 scale small amour vehicle are a great idea. If any manufacturers are reading this a Bren gun carrier would be a great idea.
Andrew.
I agree, I think that would be great
We all need a figure painter named Bill as a friend.
Really enjoying these 1/16th builds.
Thanks Andy!
Last time I was this early to an Andy's video, it was still on the sprue!
wow that figure is masterfully painted and really finishes off the model. Glad to see that as you rarely put figures with your models, which I think is a pity.
Well built, well painted both figure and the tank, lightly weathered its perfect
thank you very much Andy thanks for sharing awesome baby tank
Amazing weathering. Thanks for showing your techniques.
Lovely looking kit, a must have for me, you have done it justice as you always do, thanks
LoL. The “小豆坦克” in the box art means 'little bean tank' in Chinese. Also, the tank crew is wearing a so-called “大紅花(China Rose)”decoration which is a nice little touch from Takom
Great looking kit and another 1/16 scale model fantastic and a great build Andy Steve 🇬🇧
Andy. I really love your build videos. I recently built my first armor in about 30 years (I've been doing strictly aircraft). Thanks to you, it actually turned out very nice. Thank you.
Last time I was this early on an Andy's video, the sherman was still at the proving grounds.
I haven’t built any models in years but I really enjoy watching you build and paint. Your enthusiasm really shines through
What a great subject, and your build of it is inspirational.
Yup, your friend IS a good figure painter. Love the finish on that tank, good looking band tracks.
GREAT JOB on the tankette and your buddy's figure painting is excellent also.
That is a beaut of a model. Nice kit and great build!
Sweet weathering.
Excellent work, Andy. 1/16 tanks look great. Tell your friend to post also a vid of the figure painting, it looks also outstanding! Thank you!!
that figure was painted very well, nice model too
Nice to see another war-weary weathering job, but Bill's excellent figure paint job really made it stand out! Kudos to him for his contribution.
In the coulda-shoulda-mighta department, those red stars could have been chipped up carefully with a knife and then applied. One doesn't see enough flaked-away emblems and numbers on models of all sorts!
Just fabulous, the figure is wildly Impressive. Thanks much. 😆
You know what would be fun? A 1/16 M18 tank destroyer.
very nice video to watch, im getting the exact same kit in the next couple weeks
Looks real! Great job SIr.
That figure is amazing.
a really beautiful little model and perfect paintjob, but i miss some chips and stratches at the hatches, they looks to new and clean.
It's kind of fun to imagine this beat up, well worn tank, all grimy and weathered, with two brand new painted red stars on it.
@HAYAO LEONE because I'm big into history.
@HAYAO LEONE because history is fun to learn for me. I enjoy learning new things.
Always entertaining, Andy. Thanks.
1/16 for smaller tanks is ideal for more detail. Cool seeing this trend.
That rear bumper leaf-spring thingy was a pain in the ass because it's made out of 2 halves, same goes for mounts and I just can't stand those grooves in the middle. Filled them with glued-in stretched sprue and sanded down, but it took additional time and some nerves... Same goes for the lifer/jack. The halves REALLY didn't want to align properly so now I have some more filling to do...
Excelente!! muy buenos acabados y terminaciones
Great looking model, would love to see you build a Amusing Hobby 1/35 British Heavy Tank FV214 Conqueror MK.I
great job on the tank , but that figure looks awesome !!
Great fun. Thanks. I would like close up of the box and decals.
Awesome build looks like a very good kit
Cant wait to build mine. You inspired me into building tanks and military
Loving these 1/16th's...
Looks incredible, any chance you can get Bill on to show how to paint figures?
Thanks Andy. Love the videos!!
Would love to see a 1/16 Polish TKS tankette. I built one in 1/35, an older RPM Models, and the link and length track links were insanely small. The whole tank is about the size of a business card! In 1/16 it would make this tankette look like a Panzer IV next to it.
Another great vid as always, that is 1 small tank !!! Great model though 👍👍
Waiting for the next vid!!! 😁😁
Figure looks great, u should have a go !! 👍👍
Great video! This tank got something similar as the France Lorraine 37L
Wow that tankette looks fantastic. Please tell the figure painter that is figure looks fantastic cheers
hal or the hal9000 would love to watch this video lol great work !!
That's one cool model. Well done, as always. Kudos to the figure painter, too! In your opinion, would adding weight inside the lower hull help give a more realistic appearance of the model?
Yeah..! New kit 👍
Great build Andy, loving these 1/16th scale builds! I guess it’s still possible to re-Mark it as a vehicle in Japanese service, since I doubt there would have been any changes to the actually vehicle structurally? What’s next I wonder?
Very nice kit and nicely painted. Why isn't Bill doing an addendum to your build, to show how he paints the figure?
I thought i had seen one of these tiny Japanese tankettes , on the back of a shernan, pacific war photo. Being whisked away
I will have to look that up.
Collecting japanese tanks....lol
Great Work Andy! Did you finish the Maus with interior?
You're always saying you want to get into figure painting, this probably would have been a good separate video project for you, since it's such a large scale it would have been an easy figure to start with.
Still like to see you do a figure.
Omg you didnt glue the working parts, well done :-)
Would like to see you build some Meng and Rye Field armor kits...
What is your mix ratio for the mission model paints with the thinner and hardener
Nice figure!
Is that Lucky Varnish for enamel paints only or does it work with both acrylic and enamel paints? Also, does it react negatively with Tamiya acrylics?
A+ Andy.
Last time I was this early to one of Andy's videos the bow and arrow was still on the secrets list or the centurion was a tank not a rank.
what did the instructions say as to when you mount the fenders and top hull?
Hi Andy. Do you, by any chance, sell tanks that are already built and painted please? Great videos by the way. Keep 'em coming chuck!
Im sorry I don't, thanks for watching
I am a Vietnam vet and yesterday came across some Vietnam armor photos from other vets. One in particular was an armored vehicle (M60 0r M60A1 frame) with twin 40's for firepower, is there by any chance a model kit available for this, and if there is, will you be getting it?
Personally I'd like to see more Japanese armor kits being made in the future, there aren't many out there
Oh theres a lot, but they are perpetually out of stock.
Dragon made a few, but often out of stock. finemolds also did various, and tamiya some. good luck ;)!
Andy please ask your friend that painted the figure , too do a video in the procedure...
Hi Andy, I think the 4 - small sprocked wheels are wrong installed. They should face down. Salut.
👍
I wouldn’t want to fight in that thing but I sure would like to take it out for a
Spin!
👍👍👍👍
I found it, it's an M42 Duster
Hey Andy play some Wagner ride of the Valkeries.....!!!😅😅😊👍
I am wondering....As you are having several vendors creating paints..... Is NATO Green the exact same with all brands or do you find some differences in colour..?
I working on building a what if tank, a T34/88 and I wanted to make the barrel myself and I was wondering if you know what size metal tubing I would need to use for an 88 in 1:35 scale
Michael Tolano Jr Based on a real 88mm gun like the kwk 36 (Tiger) or a made up one? Either way just find the real life measurements you want and divide by 35. For example 88mm is roughly 2.5mm in 1/35.
@@Badbunny666 Thank you
Awesome build and your friend did an amazing job with the figure as well. Can I just be that one annoying guy though, who points out that if the tank was freshly captured it would still have the Japanese markings on wouldn’t it?
Hi Andy
6:10 That would be called a "draw bar" instead of a fender or bumper. Some vehicles from that era (including the Scammell) used leaf springs as an attachment mechanism for tow pintles.
This looks like the WW2 version of the WW1 FT-17 tank.
You still going to build the 1/16 panther?
I have a Chinese 94 type, what is different from a Japanese 94 type?
Can you get Bill to do a video on figure painting? That would be really popular I think or does he have a channel?
Hi Andy, any avlb?
You should now do a Russian 1/16 model
Can you make a video of the 1:35 type 97 chi-ha
💪💪💪👍👍👍литьевой шов на глушителе остался.
I don’t get why they make working suspensions on static plastic models.
Working suspensions make it easier to pose the completed model in diorama's. They enable the running gear to more realistically sit on objects like uneven ground, rocks, etc., just like an actual armored vehicle can. I, myself, do not really care for working suspensions for I usually end up gluing something that should not be glued anyway.
How do I buy models from you
I’d be concerned that plastic spring will degrade over time.
What would happen if a German 88 hit that thing?
Any Zvezda videos coming soon?
Andy did you paint a figure?
Think he said a friend did. Props to his buddy and Andy get him on your show doing a paint job.
Can you do a 1/16 russian kit? If theres any available
Oh man everyone is just releasing light tanks and tankettes in 1/16 all of a sudden.
If anyone made a STUG in 1/16 I would be so happy.
Hi Andy i like the videos you make I have a problem maybe you can help me or someone watching your channel I bought the trumpeter 1/350 scale USS Langley CV-1 and upgrade kit and the instructions or not vert clear I've been online trying to find some books on the Langley and I cannot find any if you or someone watching your channel can me help me I would appreciate it Thank you.
hope u read this, can you please ask Bill to do a tutorial on painting that figure?? all the tutorials here on youtube suck, the figure still comes out looking like it was done by a 5-year old...........please ask him, won't you???
