The hose was included with the kit, I don't recall the exact length. I've done some heavy equipment hauling, sat in traffic, and done a fair bit of interstate driving with that. I changed the oil the same day I installed this. I also have a 2015 Charger with Billet Technologies catch can I've had for about 3 years, between oil changes it's catch can fills about 2/3 of the way, so a significant amount.
So far, about 1/4 of a can per oil change, and it's typically sludgy. I have the same thing on my Charger and it gets between 1/4 and 3/4 full between oil changes. I'd highly recommend watching Engineering Explained's video on catch cans, it's very informative.
If it does I've never noticed, with what it's doing, venting pressure from the Crank case, it wouldn't surprise me if you don't get the hoses tight, or if they're nicked, that they would have a slight hiss.
