Back in the day I used to drive a Mack superliner with a 475 Cummins twin turbo. It was bought out of Canada, it had a 300 inch wheelbase. We put a 18 ft dump on it with a wet kit. It had a 13 speed road ranger. In the winter time when you started that thing you couldn't see it for about 20 minutes. It ran good. It was supposedly a factory engine I've never heard of one since.
@@r1299 hi we have a few of the early MK1 with Cummins donks I think the first two were caterpillar and Cummins or both Cummins the MK2 were all EM9 V8 Mack I came across one for sale the other day over here with a 3406B X tanker and one of the first B double combinations so it's got a very short wheel base no bunk still in shell fleet colours Canadian's haha I was there in the 80s they have to have a compound turbo or some set up nothing is out of the box with those guys no doubt
The Can Am show Superliners ended up back in Quebec Canada. They were later scrapped. Someone in Quebec has the cab off of one of them. The Can Am sleepers were crushed.

What a sweetheart of a truck! Great video Phil
Thanks bro!
Nice SuperLiner!
Very cool and unique. 🤙
Push button outside door latch. I remember those!
I think that be the truck hauled Canadian sleeper manufacturer Can Am sleepers.
Oh gotcha! I’m still learning about this thing. Was Can Am & Bentz a merger at one time?

@FlannelPhilip to the best of my knowledge, no.
Wow really good-looking old bulldog. I'd love to buy one and have it run daily as a worker. I'd set it up with an Able sleeper.
Just right!
👍👍👍
Is that the Original Bentz Display truck???
I’m not 💯 but maybe…
@@FlannelPhilip the best person to ask is Kuenn Mcclinton.
9 speed?
I’m not sure, I didn’t focus on the shift pattern.
@FlannelPhilip didn't look like it had a splitter on the side so maybe a 7,9 or 10
That bunk isn't any good for a sleeper I love the Super liner drove Macks for 22 years very dependable truck and low operation cost.
It’s definitely a showcase piece, not for practicality obviously.
