Thanks. I really need to watch this video over and over again.
Np! Glad it was helpful!
Perfect tutorial bro🙏❤️💖
Thanks bro! 🙏🏼
Congrats fam
🙏🏼🙏🏼
I appreciate the advice you give at the end about not being cheap with your career, that's some solid advice that many upcoming artist need to hear. But for me, I just want to at least release some music so I get it out there lol
By the way how long does it usually take for your tracks to be in review?
Np! It depends. Sometimes it can take a few days. If it takes longer than 5 days, then contact routenote’s support.
Thanks 🙏
Do you know how long you roughly have to wait until your song/music gets distributed? other than that great tuturial and thanks alot!
No problem and it really depends on the release date you set it for. I always recommend setting it to release 4 - 5 weeks ahead.
For free or you have to get plan to set a date??
For free, depending on the platforms you are releasing on.
Hello..i have a problem when i upload..the person i featured on my track doesn't have spotify profile
Then they have to create an account with a distributor and release the song as well if they want credit. You can still upload though.
Thank you for this video! Do you know how I can ensure my Spotify, Apple Music etc. account are linked for the release? As it doesn't offer a space to put your artist URL in for those DSPs.
Well, is this going to be your first release?
@@JaceyFlames I have a collab/shared release for 1 single on the account, but this will be my first solo release if that makes sense.
Yes, so you will then have to wait until the song is released for you to claim your profiles and it should then be linked to your account.
Thank you! I went with your advice and it worked. @@JaceyFlames
I have finished filling everything up but when I click distribute, it does nothing
Is the song saying “processing” or “complete”?
Am having some promlem with released date an sales date
What’s the problem you are having with your release date?
I uploaded my song since 6 feb up till now its still not approved instead it has been in 80% and i have completed the 4 or 5 steps of uploading and i have clicked distribute i don't know what to do next
Unfortunately, this has been happening a lot because RouteNote is now taking extra days to approve a song. It seems that it’s part of their new policy and their AI is taking longer now. I’d advise contacting their support and if they don’t solve this for you within the next day or so, then definitely switch over to another distributor platform.
After you post this onto Spotify does that mean you are now a Spotify artist and can u now link Your Spotify account to your TikTok account?
You have to claim your profile (which I have videos on how to do so).
Do u know when u ask to remove it from all stores are they defo gonna do it
They should. If not, you’ll have to hit up their support.
When I try post my song it says your album and Track are the same or something pls reply
That’s the main issue with RouteNote is that it won’t let you move forward unless you have a different song title that is different than your album title.
@@JaceyFlames ok I’ll try now
Love routenote uploaded my first music
But finding hard to claim all profile some are
Very rare to claim
Yes, They can be. Which ones are you having a hard time claiming?
Good day brother, for my first release, will routenote create profiles for all stores on my behalf?
Yes
@@JaceyFlames kindly educate me on this: I'm in Ghana and paypal is not approved here so receiving earnings with paypal seems impossible. When i was creating my routenote account, i did not fill the paypal gmail field however, i made a query about that at the Q&A section and was directed to link where i filled a form with bank details. That is where i expect to receive earnings but I'm not really aware if it works. I need your information about that. Thanks

Ive seen a commentary saying that the guy have problem cuz he didnt see is song on spotify because he's approval date was close to is release date but where do you write the approval date i just see the release date
It’s usually right when you upload your song, it’ll say “approved” or not and routenote has been known to take a while for the approval process. So please be aware of that.
Okay thanks
@@violent_ou_quoi You’re welcome.
You say we set Originally released to 3/4 weeks from now which I did . But it says “Your original date cannot be set as Future date if there is no Sales start date”. Please help
Did you set the price for your release date yet?
@@JaceyFlames Price ? How do you mean please
@@iamtairon4887 You will need to set an original release date in order for your release to be approved, whereas you don't have to set a sales start date.
my single got approved i chose spotify but it doesnt appear on spotify nor does my artist profile exist on spotify
When did your song release?
What if I already have music on streaming services and I select my spotify account as primary artist, will it be distributed to my existing accounts
You will have to connect it through your distributor first, then it will be.
@@JaceyFlames I search for my artist account but its not showing any account
Did you already claim your Spotify account through Spotify for artists yet?
@@JaceyFlames I have the spotify for artists app yes
But have you claimed your Spotify artist profile on there yet?
Please i still don't understand the release date and stuff.
What time do u set your song to be released?
I always set my song to be released at 8am in the listener’s timezone if possible. A good time to set it for to me, is always in the mornings.
@@JaceyFlames okay, but will it release immediately or?
No, it’s recommended you always set your release date at least 3-4 weeks out
@@JaceyFlames oh okay, but are you going to be sure it will be released the day you set?
@@_DevonLynnx_ Yes, but that’s why you set it for 3-4 weeks in advance so that all of the streaming stores receive your song in enough time.
How long does it take for the song to be on those platforms?
It depends on when you set your release date for. It is always recommended to set your release date AT LEAST 3-4 weeks out.
hello, I was wondering, if I could use a free instrumental from youtube for my song and upload! would that be allowed?! and also does the music get distributed on the date we select? if I upload it 3 - 4 weeks in advance
Is the instrumental copyright free? And yes, it will be distributed if you upload it 3 - 4 weeks in advance on the date you choose.
@@JaceyFlames THE VIDEO SAYS FREE to use and also the creator said it can be used on spotify for free
Make sure you save that before you start making money off of it and you still you should still credit them. Otherwise, you could be taken to court if they decide to sue you. Thats the point of crediting songs and making sure it is copyright free.

Great ! how do I create my artiste profile on RouteNote with my First Release ?
You sign up to routenote first, then upload your song on there and set a release date. Once your song releases, then they will make the profile for you and then you claim it.
@@JaceyFlamesbless you !
Bless you too and you’re welcome!
I uploaded my song on the 9th Feb, and it has been approved on the 23rd Feb. But I can't find my song or my profile on any of the platforms, pls help me
Your release date was set for 23rd of Feb. as well? Not just the approval?
The approval was on the 22nd Feb and the release date was the 23rd Feb.
That is probably why. It may take a bit longer for the song to show up on streaming platforms since the approval was so close to the release date. It should show up on streaming platforms 3-5 days from now. If not, then you should contact their support.
how long does it take for the song to get uploaded to spotify?
It depends on when you set your release date for. How far out did you set your release date for your song??
@@JaceyFlames it wouldn't let me set a date for a week from now or more so I had to set it to the current date. is that a bad thing?
Well, it’s going to take longer since the release date is too soon. So it may take 3-5 days extra in order to see your song on certain platforms.
08:29 but how it will create !!!
That’s because I’ve ALREADY RELEASED MUSIC BEFORE!! But when you haven’t, then nothing will populate, so just leave it blank.
heyy! i have a question. does changing some details om the metadata of my somg that has been already released affects the song itself on the streaming platforms? btw, thank you for this video
It doesn’t affect the song unless you withdraw the song. You’re welcome!
how many days will it take to be approve?
did you follow all of the necessary instructions when uploading your song?
@@JaceyFlames yes. and it was already released last december 15, 2023
It released yesterday? When did you upload your song?
Do I have to fill in add localization? Or can I leave it blank and how I know if I got a profile on Spotify?
You can leave it blank, I believe. You’ll know you have a Spotify profile once your first song releases. You have to claim it 3-5 days after your first song releases.
@@JaceyFlames so if I am at 80 percent complete it’s all good then ? I don’t have to be stressed for not loading ?
Does it say “processing” or “complete”?
@@JaceyFlames it said uploaded and I just confused why it’s at 80 percent still I fill out everything
As long as it says “completed” then you should be good.
I have A Question What Does Standard Mean When it Comes To Uploading Music?. Just Wondering Cuz I'm New To Routenote
Where are you seeing “Standard” ?
@@JaceyFlames Right under Where It Says iTunes & Apple Music Pricing
What Does It Mean at 12:12
Standard at that screen means that it’s selected with the membership that you have, if you choose high it’ll be with the premium membership. So it matches with what membership you choose. Does that make sense?
@@JaceyFlames Yes. Thanks You:)
You’re welcome
My audio is mp3 bt still it cannot be uploaded what can i do to change audio size so that it can be uploaded
Your audio must be formatted in stereo as a FLAC or MP3 file. This must be at 320kbps/16 bit and the sample rate should be 44.1kHz. Is your sample rate at 44.1kHz?
@@JaceyFlames nope it's only MP3 ...how can I change to 44.1kHz and 320kbps/16 bit???
Usually with the DAW you use. Do you use Pro Tools, Ableton, or FL Studio?
@@JaceyFlames i just record frm the studio then the producer send to me as a document
Ask the producer to send you the FLAC file then try to upload it like that.
I want to release an so containing 3 tracks.
Would I need a different approach?
Like an EP?
@@JaceyFlames yes exactly

@@JaceyFlamesI have filled the Album/Single/Ep title already (the name of the Ep) but how do I find the Album or EP selection ? Is it the “Compilation Album Yes or No ” part ?

How do I get a topic channel so I can get an Official Artist Channel?
When you release music on top UA-cam using your distributor, you should automatically get a topic channel. That’s not the way to get an official artist channel though.
@@JaceyFlames Ok thanks, so after that I can fill out the form with routenote to get the Official Artist Channel? Also is getting an official artist channel garenteed?
No and no. They don’t have a form for that. The way you would do that is making your own UA-cam channel, uploading music on it, getting your music on Google search panel, having a website, releasing your music through a distributor that allows you to claim your UA-cam channel, etc.
