hi, i'm releasing a song on Spotify in January but i wanted to ask you, if i have an artist account on Spotify do i automatically get one for all the other streaming services as well? for example apple music, tidal, etc? if not do you have to make one for every single service? do you have any videos on this?
Have you signed up to a distributor yet? IF it is your first music release, your distributor will create the accounts for you on the streaming platforms once your song is released (within 24-48 hours) and then you just have to claim them.
@@JaceyFlames thanks! yes i used distrokid and uploaded my song to Spotify which will be out January 20th. thats cool that they create the accounts for you, but isn't that a lot? like when you upload a song through distrokid they distribute it to like 25+ places. theres so many different streaming services like apple music, tidal, amazon music, etc. out of all of the streaming services which ones should you claim?
@@henryhoward7323 It is a lot, but you choose which ones to upload them to when you are on DistroKid uploading your song for a release. I would recommend the most well known platforms to set to release them on like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, etc. Essentially, you want to make it easy for anyone to find you and your music because not everyone uses just one platform to listen to music.
@@JaceyFlames ok cool thanks! and one more question, if i'm uploading a song to Spotify do you know if the wav file should be 16 bit or 24 bit?
@@henryhoward7323 No problem and either one should be fine, but if one doesn’t work then try the other one. They should accept both though for distribution.
hi, If I already uploaded the album to Tunecore, When I publish it to social media its asking me to write all the info again. Can't it just attach the album songs that are already on tunecore?
Ideally yes, that would be great but unfortunately TuneCore’s AI is buggy like that and tends to have issues so it asks for info. again quite frequently.

Yup. Just through UA-cam. You can even do it through your phone on the UA-cam app.

@@JaceyFlames I loaded my music and video through distrokid but the video didn't go through to UA-cam. What can I do to get my music on UA-cam besides putting it up through my profile 🤔?
@@josephlawrence1936 Unfortunately through DistroKid, they only distribute to UA-cam music but not on UA-cam itself (well, only on their “Topic” channel). So you’ll have to upload it onto your own channel manually.
