There's nothing worse than a local council with delusions of grandeur. The vast majority of councils these days think they are some sort of pseudo federal government and they need serious reigning in. Empty the bins and fix the roads! End of story.

Why are councils getting woke and active in politics? Councils duties are to plan effectively to SERVE rate payers!!! Action should be taken against council members who push their other agendas.

Councils are not a 3rd tier of government. There was a referendum which the people said no for councils to be recognised as a 3rd tier of government but the government of the day did it anyway. Just like the Voice to Parliament. The people said No but now the SA government is having an election on 16th March is holding a Voice to the SA parliament. Which only Aboriginal and Torres strait Islanders can vote for

I’m unlucky to live in the old Moreland city council area, now for a tax payer fee of about $5 million it changed its name to merri- bek council.
They fly the Palestinian flag out the front of the town hall, every year they try to cancel Australia Day.
They must all be sacked & let the state government contract out all the work.
Watch out for new DEI Officer positions in your council. Mine did.
