Elvis Presley made television and entertainment history with his Elvis, Aloha from Hawaii concert, performed at the Honolulu International Center Arena on January 14, 1973. It was beamed live via Globecam Satellite to various countries, on a delayed basis to approximately thirty European countries and it first aired in America that April 4th on NBC in edited form. The American broadcast version included four "insert" songs that were shot just after the concert. In all, the concert was seen in over forty countries by close to 1.5 billion people, a global ratings smash. Never before had one performer held the world's attention in such a way. Aloha from Hawaii presents Elvis Presley at the pinnacle of his superstardom, giving one of the most outstanding concert performances of his career.

My dad was a police officer here in Cincinnati, Ohio. When Elvis came to town he (my dad) and other officers loved being around him. After each show (in the hotel) they sat around Elvis and the king would take requests from each officer.

singers OF ANY TIME could NEVER compete with him. if you're doin somethin (singin a certain song, for example ~ Bridge Over Troubled Water), and Elvis does it. just hang it up (that song) cause you're finished right there

Elvis Presley is incredible. I don't think there ever was an entertainer who gave more concerts in such a short period of time! Nobody worked as hard as Elvis. Unfortunately that killed him in the end. The music and his fans were always more important to him than his own life. That's why he is The Greatest Entertainer Of All Time!

There was a woman I took care of in the nursing home when I was in my 20's who had dvd collections of Elvis and they would play non stop. He was before my time of really knowing him as I was born in the late 80's but because of her I fell in love with him and his music. I would sing to her and dance and she would always be like you like Elvis??? And I'd tell her yes because of you silly and it made her so happy ❤

I had the pleasure to see Elvis live in Buffalo NY in 1965 and we had great seats in the 8 row from the stage I was 13 years old and it was a school bus trip that was full with young girls and two boys and I was one of the boys and I remember I could not hear Elvis sing because of all the screaming from all the fans which where mainly girls so I had to get out of my seat and stand by the large speakers by the stage so I could hear his voice which was second to none and I am and always will be a BIG Elvis fan so RIP Elvis because you deserve it in Gods Heaven 🔥☄️❤️🙏🏻🏴🇨🇦
