He just had it all. A. L. L! I loooooove this song! Just his version. No one else could sing about injecting your soul and make you feel it like Elvis. The sexiest man to ever live. Wish you were still here, Elvis. I was too young to remember your passing, but you’ve always been my favorite. I’ve spent my whole life loving you. I don’t remember a day of my whole almost 49 years not knowing who you were. The world misses you. To this day, I can’t watch you sing Unchained Melody, not without bawling for two hours. I’m crying as I type this. You have no idea how much you’re loved. If only you knew. Rest in heaven.

Real talk Elvis was the best friend i ever had in my life we met when i was a teenager he only wanted a real true friend that didn't want anything from him. We were friends for 10 yrs. up until his death he asked nothing of me and i asked nothing of him. Elvis didn't make friend easily because he knew people just wanted something from him. i will love and miss my friend always and forever i walk past Graceland everyday sometimes i go in they know me there lol... Elvis was a flesh and blood man. He was not a super hero like most fans made him out to be Elvis knew he was dying for some time a few days before his death we had a short conversation i cried a lot he was extremely emotional as well. That was the last day i saw my friend alive. The funeral was a blur and that day was one of the most heart breaking day of my life. I will love and miss Elvis forever. If anyone has the chance to visit Graceland you really should you will not be disappointed. Regards from the one and only Memphis Tn.TCB Yall.

"Elvis Presley is the greatest cultural force in the 20th century... He introduced the beat to everything and he changed everything--music, language, clothes, it's a whole new social revolution--the Sixties come from it."

So true, ! He sang right from his very soul! He was always amused with all the adulation & his humility never allowed him to know how very much his contribution
changed culture in America & in the world! He did not need the internet nor social media to
become universally loved as he was , still is ,
& will always continue to be!
      I appreciate your sharing
      Leonard Bernstein's comment . It
      really keeps things in perspective,
regarding the Elvis legend & legacy!
