Samosa: This is one food that has travelled far and wide, and like any popular traveller has left its footprints along the way. From Egypt to Libya and from Central Asia to India, the stuffed triangle with different names has garnered immense popularity. Originally named samsa, after the pyramids in Central Asia, historical accounts also refer to it as sanbusak, sanbusaq or even sanbusaj, all deriving from the Persian word, sanbosag. In South Asia, it was introduced by the Middle Eastern chefs during the Delhi Sultanate rule, although some accounts credit traders for bringing the fare to this part of the world. Nevertheless, from its humble beginnings-in older days, people would cook the mince-filled triangles over campfire and eat them as snacks during travel-samosa has come a long way.
Even after getting 1000 rupees she didnt say thanx to you. That dosnt mean she didnt appreciated it. Most of nepalese dont say thank you to other people from their mouth but they say it from heart and they showed it from smile. Surprisingly she’s actually good at speaking English... wow When she said “which one? This one?” at 12:00, I know it’s not a big deal but for someone who sells food on streets of inepal saying that, it fucking is a big deal

@@lipokyanger7685 here in Nepal generally arranged marriage were practiced but now days love marriage in also widely accepted. and women are not raised or expected to become housewives instead prefer working wife as it increases the incoming in the family.

He's not old though !
Maybe he is a Monk? They are very humble and generous people
Kinda looks like a monk.
@@-Viceroy- not a monk but he was kind.
Very entertaining. I nearly lost it each time you stuck the camera through the hole in her cart to film her! And that look you got the first time that you did! Watching how each person, regardless of race or nationality, has a very unique and personal reaction to being filmed unexpectedly is endlessly fascinating.
The moment I feel proud to be nepali❤💜how they treat the visitor just melt my heart...i love you all..you are among those who represent our Nepal and how nepali are

Harald's first Samosa! What a treat they are. As an Aussie travelling Nepal in the mid 70's I lived on Dhal and Samosa. Jai Nepal!
@joeybada$$ No trekker and culture hungry. Nepal is a true wonder.
I’m glad your were following safely measures.
Yummy food and I'm stunned by her English! She sounds educated if not academic. I'm surprised you didn't notice and ask her how come her English is so good?
Yasmine Dey yea why he didnt ask her ?

Good work Harald ! At first the lady chef seemed P.O. with your "invasive" interest in her kitchen, but she soon realized that your curiosity is genuine and friendly; her body language and her delightful smile says it all .

Harald :"What's your name?"
Dog : "*slppls slppls" (licks the water)

It just feels soooo good to see we Nepali welcoming Harald with a big smile on their face and respecting him as a guest to our country. And Harald, you are just awesome, we can see it in you that you like to travel and explore things here wherever you go! Welcome to Nepal, I hope you visit us again :)
You’re awesome Harald, you have inspired me to start traveling!
I just love how Nepalese people care giving fruits and wanted to pay for the foods so good man.❤️
Good to see old man offering money for him as a honor of respect to guest. ❤
We have samosas in BC Canada all the time ^_^
i cook it at my home i invented it n i call it singada
did you copy and paste this from wiki?
Thank you for your interesting information 😀.
i think rejecting someone's offer to pay for you is would make him uncomfortable
Nepal people are very kind and loverble. Lots of Love from Sri Lanka..!!
Even after getting 1000 rupees she didnt say thanx to you. That dosnt mean she didnt appreciated it. Most of nepalese dont say thank you to other people from their mouth but they say it from heart and they showed it from smile. When i was in Nepal i also didnt know we have to say thank you to other people frequently. Thank you for giving 1000 rupees. you have made her day. It was more than her whole day profit.
Exactly that was. She has no idea about hospitality. There she would has told many times thank you but she didn't. Silly woman.
Because she didnot know english language well
Respect to that old gentleman who was trying to pay for samosa.
Love from Nepal sir❤️❤️❤️
Yes bro,my heart melted by his kindness❤️
These types of small step by our people making Nepal🇳🇵 proud
You're brave enough to eat there. How nice she was, I'm sure the food was delicious, she deserved a big tip. Can't wait to next upload. Burundi!
Surprisingly she’s actually good at speaking English... wow
When she said “which one? This one?” at 12:00, I know it’s not a big deal but for someone who sells food on streets of inepal saying that, it fucking is a big deal
Oh yeah, her english is kinda fluent to be honest. Also, such a heartwarming video
Maybe the woman did went to school but due to proverty she couldn't study further. Maybe that's why she had to start up a street shop.
Well, that was deep.
Yeah , herald shud have talked about that
Yeah. I'm betting on that as well.
Also, how is the marriage/family thing in Nepal? Is it traditional where women are raised & encouraged to become housewives? Or there's no such stringent familial obligations for women?
@@lipokyanger7685 here in Nepal generally arranged marriage were practiced but now days love marriage in also widely accepted. and women are not raised or expected to become housewives instead prefer working wife as it increases the incoming in the family.

Stranger paying for food 😇
Happens only in nepal 🇳🇵❣
Proud to be nepali❤
I wondered why? Is this normal in Nepal? The guy looks cool .. like some sort of nepalese/tibet royalty or so out in a common food place to enjoy real life :) If that is normal nepalese hospitality, then I'm quite impressed. No stranger ever offered to pay my food.
@@philippesteindl3356 yeah sir😊
