Which is why She-Hulk doesn’t deserve the praise it gets from opinion disrespecters who think we’re just sexist and racist for thinking that MCU Phase 4 (with a few exceptions like the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequels and Shang-Chi) is *(this* much of) a step-down from previous phases. Maybe we just hate to see male disempowerment/dehumanization (meaning whenever the person who is in the right in any way happens to be male, he’s treated like he’s worse than the World Economic Forum) as much as when the same thing happens to women.

The main villain is literally based on a UA-camr called “Overlord DVD” or “Diktor Van DoomCock”, he posts all of Disney’s secret Ls. That’s why they hate him. His sub count actually went up a lot since the episode dropped lol. They tried to paint him as some tabloid, right wing, misogynist but he’s really nothing of the sort. He’s actually pretty centrist, he’s never said anything derogatory of women as a gender, and just really REALLY hates wokeness. “Without respect, we reject.”

Honestly, the moment I saw that scene of Jen yelling at Bruce about why she "constantly has to control her stress because mEn bAd," I knew this show would become a blackhole of trash. The fact that Jen claims that she gets angry at being "mansplained" to all the time gave me a migraine. Especially since she is explaining "controlling anger" to THE HULK. SHE IS WOMANSPLAINING CONTROLLING YOUR ANGER TO THE HERO WHO HAD TO LEARN TO KEEP HIS EMOTIONS IN CHECK, TO MAKE SURE HE DOESN'T MINDLESSLY KILL ANYONE INNOCENT.

From what I heard, the writers behind the show's plan was to make a show that is a direct F U to "trolls" or people who don't like what they've been making lately.
Even the writer said that she was so happy that she's trolling the fans.
That alone is enough for me to know that this show is a huge waste of time and money.
With the message they were trying to make, in order to be successful, needed to be clear exactly who the target is and why. The issue I have is they tried to paint everyone who dislikes the show as a troll as a way to shield the it from criticism. And yes people have done this successfully, for just watch Tropic Thunder (RDJ in blackface, making fun of actors going full method for roles) or Blazing Saddles (making fun of racist white people, and the western genre in general).
So yea, they trolled MCU fans who were already lacking excitement from the mostly lackluster MCU lineup (to me the only Phase 4 MCU film worth writing home about was Spiderman No Way Home). This would be a questionable move even if fans were super hyped, but to do it when most fans are already vocal about the lack of quality coming out of the MCU seems asinine at best.

Watching She Hulk is like watching an episode of Grey's Anatomy set in the MCU. It felt like the show was made for a specific demographic that don't necessarily like comic books.

(which is racist and sexist towards Asian men yet Arianators who justify MCU Phase 4’s misandristic flaws would act like we’re just a bunch of angry young white men who are jealous that we can’t make a show for shit), Every Witch Way, The Legend of Korra (the first two seasons, at least. It got a lot better at the end, which is very rare for a Nick show, but that’s probably why they alongside their parent company Viacom would mistreat it so much, because of how much they would mistreat women as much as men by justifying the former’s criminal actions as if women could do what they want and men have no right to judge them), every show by Schneider’s Bakery, The Loud House, Bella and the Bulldogs (I hate when people act like the ones who think this show is sexist are the true sexist ones) and so many more shows.
The villain's in she-hulk are the writers. That's why they HAD to put themselves in the last episode, so the audience knows who the real evil boss was.

What makes She Hulk even worse, in my opinion, is that whenever someone gives actual good criticism of the show, they’re immediately called incels and misogynists by the actors and writers, and even some of the female critics who don’t like this are called that also. Like they think that highly of themselves and what they made that they can’t take a single ounce of criticism. Ultimately, they need to realize that not every man in the world is an online troll/incel, not every man in the world is like those who believe in that red pill stuff, and that this show isn’t perfect. If they wanted to push the idea of how women can be strong and heroic like men, they should have done it like DC does Wonder Woman in both the comics and the movies (minus WW84 cuz that sucked), who literally teaches us that women can do or be anything they want to be, without having to ALWAYS push this agenda of Men=evil, women=good.

I just watched 2012's Dredd for the first time, and my god have we gone down hill in not only comic book adaptations, but story-telling as a whole. Seriously, it's now my favourite comic-book film and in my honest opinion, none of marvel's installments compare. Which I know is a controversial thing to say. And they kept his helmet on for the ENTIRE movie, so it automatically gets extra points.

The line about Captain America going to the front lines is completely false. He did USO shows and THEN only attacked Hydra bases.
They added in some vague line about how Bruce’s and Jen’s blood have a unique trait of processing Gamma radiation (or something). I think a better idea would be to emphasize that because they’re related, his blood didn’t attack her cells like they did with Stan Lee’s cameo

@@Shockguey Devils advocate here, he did say that he synthesized the blood so it could give him hulk powers. That way he doesn’t need the natural genetic trait to process the gamma and instead have the serum itself work around that issue.
But in the end this was written out anyway. Because apparently being self aware of your own bad writing makes the writing “clever” and “breaks the formula”. Intentionally bad writing isn’t artistic, it’s lazy. And if they wanted to change up the formula, then they should’ve just done that instead of making the entire show focused on targeting the trolls who were hating She-Hulk before any trailers were even dropped.

Because there’s absolutely no way Steve “waiting for the right partner” Rogers would actually hook up with a woman during those USO tours when he was clearly already interested in Peggy

This show had a perfect opportunity to bring up Bruce's traumatic past with his father, dealing with the Hulk and being chased by the military which would also further Jen's character but they absolutely wasted it.

-Jen was returned after the snap and is trying to resurrect her legal career.
-Bruce is putting her up in the meantime because he's a good guy.
-Bruce and Jen don't really know one another. They only reconnected after he became an Avenger, but he hadn't seen her since before Sokovia.
-Jen is grateful that her cousin saved her life and mentions it when the camera lingers on his heavily scarred arm.
-Bruce is tinkering with a McGuffin that will become relevant during the series.
-Abomination breaks into the base/home and attacks Hulk. He doesn't speak or even roar.
-Professor Hulk stands no chance and is brutalized.
-Jen tries to help with some random Stark weapon Bruce has.
-Jen gets backhanded into a wall. We don't see the result, but we hear the impact.
-The Other Guy comes out for the first time in five years, damn near kills Abomination and sends him running.

-Hulk regresses into Bruce Banner after dropping Jen at the ER. The union is broken and Professor Hulk is no more.
-Jen is taken into an OR where the surgeons commentate on her broken body healing and expanding.
-Bruce is in the lobby and he is struggling to keep from losing control.
-And then Ross shows up fully prepared to contain the Hulk and approaches Bruce with that same deliberate aggression. Thunderbolt Ross *still* has the grudge.
-Hulk breaks free after one word too many.
-Jen is shown in her hospital bed, covered in plaster castes when her cousin roars.
-Her eyes snap open as they glow green and her pigment starts to shift.
-Roll credits
-Post Credit scene show Abomination standing entranced before an unseen figure watching the news coverage of the Hulk roaring in front of the hospital. "Welcome back, Mr. Green."
Like that? That took me like ten minutes. It is rather clichéd and borrows from the comics, but I'd still call my amateur ass a better writer than these professionals!
You basically wrote a decent episode. Then again compared to the actual writers, I think anyone with half a brain can write a feasible plot.
*slight note: I think Jen in plaster is unnecessary since she was healing quickly by that point? Lmao.
@@joemelniverba4454 The imagery in my head is that her flesh wounds were healing, but dozens of fractures were still present. The implication and the camera never directly showing her (because PG-13) would imply traumatic injuries.
I also love the idea of her expanding and breaking out of the casts next episode after she wakes up and stumbles down to the street to talk down Bruce/Hulk.
EDIT: Yeah, it'd take hours to put someone in that much plaster, but this'd be Rule of Cool cinematography.

All they have to do is make a good story and then just have them happen to have characters that have different views than the norm. Instead they rather just make the characters they want and throw shit at them randomly until something sticks.

I still don’t understand how ppl hate Eternals. It was the MCUs first movie introducing a new aspect of the already expanding universe we have. The Eternals, celestials, deviants, human history, Blackjnight, even Blade etc. All in one movie that I believe is a good 8/10 that doesn’t deserve as much hate as it gets. It may be slow and expositional but that’s the point. It was a breathe of fresh air. Enough of my Ted Talk.
The fact that none of it made a difference and characters weren't focused on cuz there's too many of them, is why it's not liked, not to mention it's boring
@@ninjanibba4259 I can appreciate and acknowledge that you are right. It is boring in the long run but the whole point of the Eternals is that they are a family. Throughout the movie we see each and every one of them and their family dynamic while mainly stayin in the eyes of Cersei the next prime eternal. And to say that it has no meaning is blasphemy. The movie ended with a celestial halfway outta the earth, a celestial proclaiming to come back to judge earth after taking a few Eternals, blacknight and blade being official teased(same as starfox), and finally the unofficial death of Icarus which we know he’s not. A lot can come from this one movie in the future

Honestly I'm proud to say the future of DC looking pretty good...even better than mcu honestly. Cavill back, James Gunn leading the Dceu, Ben possibly coming back, DC wanting to bring in John Stewart, Matt Reeves Batman universe. There's just so much to look forward to. It'll still take a lot of time but atleast I know there's a light at the end but I can't say the same for the MCU.
