It's concerning that Biden and Trump are the candidates a country of 350 million people can produce for the most critical office in the world.
Honestly, what smart person would want to expose themselves and their family/friends to the bizarre circus that has become modern American politics? Much easier to just become a cabinet member or ambassador. Both parties have become dynastic and stale, which is part of the reason why the far right/left extremists have found purchase to push their divisive agendas on the public. I know tons and tons of octogenarians who're sharp as tacks... Cognitive decline is more common with older age but it's not at all universal, and many octogenarians serve competently in important lawmaking and leadership positions (e.g., Bernie Sanders, Nancy Pelosi)

In 2019 candidate Biden was challenged on the age issue, and he acknowledged it by promising to be a one-term president. So why is even running again? And why doesn't the media raise this promise?

The choice is clear. If we take our political system seriously, we need the candidates of our two-parties to be able to argue their case with accuracy and vigor.

Ian has made a career of speculations that many times end up being wrong, particularly when it comes to politics. He's a master of guessing what might happen, but not really having any more of an idea than the average person.
He is just an influencer. Pay him enough and he will tell you the sky is green and the grass is blue.
That is true of anyone that tries to predict the future. If that were possible what would be the point of life?
He's not a psychic. Like have you followed anyone in media? They make predictions all the time, some of which turn out to be true, some which turn out to be false. That's part of journalism, they go on with the job. They are not there to tell you the future, they are there to analyze the situation and give us an informed take because many of us have jobs and other responsibilities and we can't investigate and ruminate on things like journalists can. Ian has a career in which he's invited on shows like this because people value his analysis, not his psychic abilities.
