this is close to raindancing scam. There is absolutly NO connection between the diaphragm and the stability of the core. doing berathing exercises slightly engages the abdominal muscles, ok, but why not training them directly? There is also a bit of an effect on general o2 saturation and calmness which may contribute to it as well. Yet, as with everything in life, if you want to get it, you need to work for it. No point to sell breathing as a balance exercise. Sorry, but that's stupid. (yes there is lots of stupid research out there) For balance you exercise ab- and adductors, flexors, rotators and deep muscles in the hip, obliques and abdominals. Then, if you also exercise coordinaation, you can achieve it. Without it, clearly not.
Ever heard of the vestibular system? Go check it out ;) you'll learn a lot about balance. And guess what, it has nothing to do with your six pack. Raindancing scam? Nope, just understanding the bodys systems rather then depending on muscle gripping :)
also, "NO connection between the diaphragm and the stability of the core"? Thats funny. What do you think is one of if not the most relevant muscle of the core container? Right, the diaphragm.
