Mike! That is amazing. I have a 79' SC and would love to do something like this! I'm just beginning my work to update a little at a time. I know it's in poor taste but can you please share roughly what someone like me might have to spend at Rasant for a similar set up? Not including the SSI's as I can order and install that myself. i would love to know please!

Mike, how loud is the exhaust when cruising and not accelerating? Does it drone? It sounds great under power but is traveling a long distance possible without being bothered by the noise level? The car looks and sounds great.

Looks and sounds nice. So what's next? Shedding some of the interior! I backdated my interior with some BF Torino 'early Porsche Rallye ST' style seats and more instagram.com/p/CG9JGPpLhwp/ and genuine new 964RS door cards. If I were you I'd start with a personal training program and a good diet to shed some timber, so that's at least 40kg there, then you should be able to fit into the BF Torino seats as they are a snug fit. Will also help with reducing the sweaty look, which isn't cool when you're trying to look cool in a cool car

Just to play Really Robbin and not necessarily Debbie Downer might note that Factory hp rated out stock from the factory @ 180 ... Now with the addition of ITB's , SSI's, Electronics, COP's, Custom Phloem w/ estimated retail cost of M & L around 8.5k you only made 20 additional rear wheel to 200 hp. that is according to your video showing conversion and dyno run. More than just silly expensive just for a 20 hp gain don't ya think ? Now the money does not stop there. To make use of this conversion for a real gain beyond 200 hp which is what some 4-door Honda's make now, yer gonna need a 964 or Web 21/20 cam for longer and deeper torque curves, flow work on the heads and after that you'll maybe see 210 hp. Now you will need new P/C's popping displacement up to 3.2 minimal. That will buy you into the 225 hp neighborhood. For that kinda money why not just get a good used 3.6, a simple clutch conversion kit and needed assorted conversion accessories and have 300 hp for the same silly status money ??

I'm not Mike, and I would love for him to reply to you, but the US version of the SC (which his is, based on the bumpers) made 180 hp at the crank. Let's say 153 at the wheels (driveline loss of 15%). It now makes a tad over 200 at the wheels, ie 235 at the crank. That's a gain of 55hp at the crank. Not too bad. I'd guess 10-15 of that is the SSI + exhaust. As for using a 3.6, well, they've gotten silly expensive. Even 3.2 manifolds (in decent condition) are, making it less of a competitive solution to go EFI
